Welcome to the short story, 𝑶𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑾𝒆 𝑾𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 !

The world, as Claire Nuñez once knew it, has fallen. An apocalyptic outbreak has torn through the land, and walkers have become the product of it. To most that would mean the end of the world, but to Claire? Oh no. She's just started living.

BEFORE WE BEGIN,
I would just like to announce some things first. First things first, this story is a 5000 word short story that I entered into a really big writing contest with a friend of mine. Once We Were Living received third place out of 100 entries so that was exciting hehe. We got some money as a prize and split it. Originally, Once We Were Living was meant to be developed further into a multiple-chapter story... but unfortunately, I lost inspiration and interest. Therefore, this short story is all I have to offer.

Character names whom you do not recognize from the show are OC's and therefore rightfully belong to me.
