"Prince Daniel!!!!" a maid called out for the young prince, searching everywhere she thought the prince would be. Little did she know that the prince was in the palace garden, playing with his dog, Anubis. "Anubis!" the prince cried out, laughing from the dog's kisses. "Stop! I'm going to get caught." the prince said again, getting out from under the dog, finally.

Anubis pouted and his ears and head hung down, whining and wanting to play with his friend. "I'll play with you later Anubis. Right now I've got to see the suitors that dad has picked." the prince said as he rolled his eyes in disgust. He started to walk away, Anubis coming up to his side, being the guard dog he is.

"Entering Princess Samantha of the Manson's." one of the guards announced, only to be kicked in a place where the sun doesn't shine as a reward. "It's Sam." a female voice said, the owner of the kick apparently. Prince Daniel seemed intrigued by the girl, a smile placed itself on his face. "Leave us for a while. I'll call when we're done." Prince Daniel commanded the guard. The guard bowed and left the room.

"So, what do you want?" Sam asked, crossing her arms and prepared to attack. "Just to get to know you. You're interesting. Way more interesting than the other princesses." Danny said, playfully smirking at the princess before him. Anubis came over to his side, not growling at the girl because she had caught his master's eye. "I like to be different." Sam said simply with a shrug of her shoulders, the straps of her dress almost falling off. Danny chuckled while she adjusted her straps.

"Would you like to see something interesting?" Danny asked her mysteriously. "Definitely." Sam replied, purple eyes sparkling. "Alright. But promise me one thing." Danny said seriously. "Sure." Sam said, waiting. Danny smirked then said, "Don't scream." He let two rings travel up and down him, until his appearance had changed. He was now Phantom, Protector of the Desert.
