Deep, down in the ocean, was the Lost Kingdom of Atlantis. The King and Queen of the Kingdom were fair rulers to their subjects, and the subjects adored their rulers. But, they all despised one creature. The so called 'Protector of the Seas'. Danek the Siren. He kept the fishers away from the Kingdom, got young mermen and mermaids out of nets, kept the peace with the other sea creatures, AND had to deal with the bad talk all the Kingdoms' residents said about him.

Only the King and Queen, and a small handful of the Kingdom's' residents, appreciated what Danek did for them on a daily basis.

"Look. It's Danek." someone whispered as the siren swam through the waters of the Kingdom in a rush. "Where do you think he's going?" someone else asked. "Probably to his cave. That way we don't see him and he won't hear us." a different creature said haughtily.

"Where is it?" Danek asked himself as he swam frantically around his cave, which happened to be full of stuff. "Ah ha! There it is." Danek exclaimed in glee as as he found what he was looking for. It was a small crown made out of coral with some aquamarines on it. "This should do." Danek said as he swam back out of his cave in a burst of bubbles, his bright blue eyes glowing in excitement.
