She softly laid against the tombstone of her best friend, the one place she manages to go to when things are rough and seem so bleak. She placed the fresh flowers she brings each week, knowing her best friend will see and know she's not forgotten. Eyes closed and fully relaxed, she sighed into the night air, like a call for help.

Suddenly, she felt a hand connect with hers. So cold to the touch but yet, comforting in so many ways. She finally managed to open her eyes, seeing her best friend sitting next to her with that smile she loved dearly. And missed every single day. They naturally talked, like no time had ever passed and her best friend had lived.

She wanted nothing more than to take her home to her family, never wanting to leave her here each time that she left. But knew that it was an impossible mission. So they laughed the night away, recounting memories from years ago. She couldn't believe how long she had managed to go on without her here beside her through everything.

And once the sunshine broke through the moon lit sky, her best friend left with her laughter echoing after her. It was silent once more.
