So in the end after thinking a lot about it, I probably will end up putting up a new story.  I already have the whole idea ready, and some of the first chapter written on paper.  It's going to be a Tododeku fanfic.  Maybe some of you won't like it since it's not your favorite pairing.  But hey, I Like it.  It's pretty cute.  I might end up also writing a Katsudeku one too later on.  Maybe.

Enjoy.

I put childhood show, but I'm not exactly going to talk about any regular show or shows.  More like the cartoon or anime you grew up with in your childhood and maybe some of the problems that some have come across with that.

So, when I was younger I loved the Lion King.  I still do.  I loved it so much.  I watched the first movie then the second one when it came out.  And I loved them, it was great. I grew up with a lot of Disney movies, I'm a 90's baby.  So then about I think last year in 2016 or so I think, The Lion Guard was announced.  And I was so happy.  Because I thought that it was a continuation of the Lion King.  And I was so excited.

So there I was waiting for it to start, and I had the greatest disappointment in my life.  It was nothing like the Lion King.  Sure it had Simba and Rafiki, and the others can't come to mind right now.  Oh wait Pumbaa and Timon.

I was sad since it wasn't like that original.  But since my niece was always at my house (babysitting) she liked watching that.  So I ended up watching it with her.  And I ended up coming to terms with it.  It's bearable, but I don't love it.

AND now we go into the ANIME!!!!

Who here has an anime they watched as a child?

Did you know it was an anime or not?

Well for me, everyday before going to school in kindergarten I would always watch Sailor Moon.  I absolutely loved it.  I still remember just sitting in front of the t.v. as my mom brushed my hair when I was five years old.

I just thought it was a regular cartoon just like the Mickey Mouse and so on.

I still remember the part where Tuxedo Mask and the Sailor Scouts were in a gym.  I can't remember it all, but I do remember them being in a gym.  it's been so long since I last watched it.  But now I kind of feel like watching it again.

Another anime I watched as a kid was , Dragon Ball Z, and also Pokemon, and later one Yu-Gi-Oh.

I can't remember where I left off on Dragon Ball Z, but I stopped watching it years ago.  And I just never started watching it again.  At first I was kind of tempted of going back to watch it, but then when I saw how many episodes there were, I was kind of shocked.  And just put it in the, "I'll watch it later".

Man, I loved Pokemon.  But what I don't like about it, is that now there have been so many different versions of it.  But at least the whole plot and characters haven't been changed, but still it just feels off.  So I don't even watch the knew ones that come out.  I prefer the older ones.  The year I last watched it was I think in 2007 or or maybe 2008 or so, because after that I think it was when the newer ones started to come out. But some of the movies that came out, were good and still had some of the characters I came to know from the beginning to early 2000's.  So I was good with that.

I know that there are people who like Pokemon with how it is now.  And that's all good.  But for me personally, to get me to get used to it.  You'd have to sit me in front of the t.v. or my laptop, and make sure I don't move at all and make me watch them.  Though the one thing I have to give it a thumbs up for is that none of the main characters have changed, though some have left which is sad.  But otherwise the whole plot is still the same.  So that's all good.

Another one is Yu-Gi-Oh.  OH MY GOD!  I LOVED IT!

I remember watching it from episode one, but I never got to finish it because we ended up moving and when we moved to a new house we didn't know what channel it was on.  So my sister and I just gave up on it. But then a few years later we came across it again.  It came up every Saturday in the morning at around 10 or 11.

And that time I was finally able to watch it all the way to the end.  And I cried at the end.  I seriously did.  Who else got a little emotional at the end?

Anyways, after it ended.  At the end of the episode it was announced that it was going to start from episode one next Saturday.  And I was excited since I 'd be able to see it from the beginning again.  So next week comes, and there I am waiting for it to start.

And I end up almost yelling at my t.v.  Why?  Simple.  Because it didn't really start from episode one.  Their "episode one" was what would about episode four or so I think.  It was when Seto Kaiba was trying to take all the Blue eye white dragon cards.  And goes to Yugi's grandpa's shop to take the one he has.

So I was disappointed.  I remember clearly how episode one starts.  Yugi's grandpa finds the puzzle piece and takes it home to Yugi.  If someone in real life were to do something like that.... well they'd sure be in trouble.

And eventually later on I was able to watch it from the beginning which was great for me.  My friend actually went through the same thing.

When we were in high school, we were talking about Yu-Gi-Oh, and I mentioned how Yugi got the puzzle piece in the first episode, and she was a bit confused about it.  And she told me that the episode she watched was where Seto Kaiba wanted the blue eyes white dragon cards.  So I told her where to watch it online.

I personally think that it should have been left there how it ended.  But then newer ones started coming up.  And I thought it would be as awesome as this one. But no.  At least not to me or my sister.

Then years passed and other newer ones came out.  And some didn't even have anything to do with it, but they had the title Yu-Gi-Oh, and then whatever it was after that.

I told my sister, "They shouldn't even keep the name Yu-Gi-Oh on it" since it was completely off.

So there were lots of times when I was younger that I would always think and say, "I feel sorry for the new generations that didn't get to see the original ones, and have to watch these new ones and think they're the original."

I'm not trying to insult anyone who likes the new ones.  I am just stating my personal opinions here okay.  I don't mean any harm by it.  So I'm sorry about that.  I've seriously tried my best to try and watch it, but I just can't.

It's like I just can't and won't let go of the original enough to try and watch the newer ones.  Especially when they almost completely drifted off from the main plot.

And also one thing that we might have all gone through.

Recommending your favorite anime, and since maybe the anime you watched as a kid was your favorite, you say that one.  And maybe that person might not be interested since it doesn't look interesting and looks pretty old.  If it was one of those old ones though.

Who here has done that?

I don't remember all the anime I watched, but only the ones that I really love. But now I really don't have to worry about it anymore.  Because I have what I call my notebook of awesomeness.

I have all anime and manga I've watched and want to watch written there.

Like one page might be titled Anime: then have a whole list of anime there.  Then when I come across a manga I like, I write Manga: and write a list of manga there, until that entire page fills up.

So whenever someone asks for anime recommendations, I just go pull it out and flip through the pages, slowly of course since some of the pages are started to rip a bit.  SO SAD.  But I can always buy a new one if it does fall apart.

Writing them done is a good idea, for me at least since one day on one of the apps I was reading manga stopped working and I couldn't look at the manga I was reading.  And I honestly didn't remember the names of them.  So then I once again started writing down the names of all anime and manga down before I forget or something ends up going wrong.

So what is you "Childhood Show" moment?

So I think that after this, I'll be working on the new story I mentioned up on top before the beginning of this chapter.

And if you guys read that, well I hope you enjoy it.

So that's it for now.  Hope you enjoyed it.
