A/N: So, I just realized that I never described Chibi Yuma O-o Well, he's not afraid of horror games or movies. He gets a real kick out of them, so we'll see that he isn't afraid. :3

Astral groaned when he woke up. He didn't remember how he got to the creepy garden, he didn't remember anything besides blacking out when Dark became dominant.

Astral reached behind him to feel for the pack, but to his horror, it wasn't there.

"Wh-where is it!?" he panicked, searching frantically along the ground for the pack. To his dismay, he didn't find it.

Astral sighed and shivered. The air was chilly, and the only light in the place was his own dim light. Dim because he was afraid. He knew about the game Outlast, but he never had the gut to watch Yuma or Pewds playing it. As a result, he didn't know how the game worked.

Speaking of Pewds, where was the Swede?

Astral looked around, but he was alone. No sign of Black Mist, either. Astral sighed. This was going to be unbearable.

Astral looked up at the huge building, which was eerily shadowed by the night. He gulped and floated over to the front door. When he tried the knob, it was locked.

"Of course..." Astral mumbled. "The front door is always locked in horror games." He took a deep breath and explored the place.

The grass was overgrown and climbing all over the walls. Astral shivered when he saw a car parked somewhere without a driver.

Astral saw a fence with a hole under it. As he wasn't used to touching the earth, he jumped and flew over the wire. He landed in a hover, staring at the scaffolding along the side of the building.

Why is this here? he wondered. Why would they leave scaffolding up?

Maybe it wasn't done yet? Maybe it was going through repairs?

Astral shuddered and moved on.

He approached the scaffolding cautiously, expecting a jumpscare at any moment. To his surprise, none happened.

"There may be more on the inside," Astral mumbled to himself just to have something to do. "Yuma described this place as scary and the worst place to be. There has to be scares." He kept mumbling to himself while he floated up to an open window.

Astral climbed in and looked around.

~.~.~

Yuma groaned. He found himself in a bed in a place he immediately recognized. He sat up, smiling.

Outlast!

Yuma looked around in case there was a camera. Yep. Right beside the bed. With it was two batteries. Yuma knew from experience that the batteries only ran out when he used night vision.

As Yuma fiddled with the camera, a question came to mind. Well, two questions.

How did I get here?

Where in the heck is Astral?

Then, a realization.

He's gonna get himself killed if he isn't protected!

With that, Yuma hurried off. A voice stopped him.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Yuma whipped around, and he grinned when he saw the crazy doctor. His response was climbing up on one of the gurneys and climbing through the ventilation shaft to escape, ditching his shoes in the process.

~.~.~

Astral crawled through the shaft, trembling and whispering reassuring things to himself. When he came out on the other end, he looked cautiously out.

"Nothing is here," Astral mumbled. "No need to be afraid."

He floated delicately down to the ground, looking around the well-lit space. Astral tried all the doors, but they wouldn't budge. When he tried the last door it opened.

Astral shrieked when something popped out at him. He stumbled back and fell hard. He cowered in place, whimpering until his fear withdrew. As soon as he recovered, he approached the room.

What he saw was a man hanging upside down without a head.

~.~.~

Yuma snuck around the place, evading the psychopathic doctor with ease. For once, practice with a horror game was paying off.

He tucked himself away under a bed, holding the camera to his eye with the night vision on as the doctor called out to him. Yuma just smiled and didn't make a sound.

Good luck catching me, creep, he thought happily. By the time you do, I'll be long gone with Astral. Yuma smiled wider at the thought of leaving. Then, another thought hit him.

Astral's super sensitive to things like this. If this went on for a while, there's a slim chance that he's sane.

All the more reason to find him.

Yuma crawled out slowly and silently so as not to attract the attention of the doctor. He snuck away.

~.~.~

Astral made his way through the dark room, not stopping to hear what the guy impaled on the rope thing was saying. He was only trying to find Yuma.

If he was even there!

Astral made it out and went on. As soon as he turned the corner, he got a feeling of foreboding. When he crept forward, he was pushed out the window by some kind of fat thing. Astral barely had time to react when his head made contact with the ground.

~.~.~

Assuming Astral was there, Yuma decided to go backwards toward the starting point. There was no way that Astral would have the nerve to travel any further than the entrance!

Holding the camera close, Yuma crept along the walls, keeping an eye out for the fat monster. He never knew if that thing was lurking around or something.

"Wait for me, Astral," Yuma whispered. "Try not to get yourself hurt."

Somehow, he knew that it wasn't gonna happen. Astral would come.
