A interrogation

Skylar had dropped Fawn off at home, the girl still having a faint smile on her lips as she walked to the front door. Once it was pushed open Victor was there is  a second flat it seemed, grabbing her arm and steering her up the stairs.

Now Fawn was confused as she looked up at him. "What's going on?" She asked in a slightly nervous manner, seeing the serious set to his face.

Once she was in Rowan's room with the door closed they all turned to face her, six expecting eyes watching and waiting for a answer to the unasked question.

"So... are you gonna say something or did you just pull me in here to stare?" She asked with a awkward smile on her face, a bit nervous about what they would have to say, what they knew.

"What happened tonight?" Angelica asked with her head cocked to the side, a knowing glint in her eye that let Fawn known that her siblings already knew what happened.

Fawn's smile faded and a slight scowl crossed her soft face. "Who told? Why can't anyone in this town mind there own business!" She snapped frustratedly as she ran her hands through her hair, tugging at the strains.

A look of concern and pity covered Victor's face, the older boy moving closer to her, putting a arm around her shoulders and pulling her into his side.

"Because it's a small to-" Angelica started but was cutoff by her sister's bitter voice. "I know small town but why does that give anyone the right to tell people what I do. I just want to be left alone."

"I know you do, but that's not going to happen here. Can you tell us what happened?" Angelica asked in a soft voice, a look of love and caring in her eyes, showing Fawn that she wasn't going to judge her no matter what she would say

"It was my five seconds of courage like you always said.. Alex is so important to me...I think I'm falling for him." Fawn looked at her hands as she explained she couldn't seem to bring herself to say the L word.

"Fawn we wanted you to patch up with the Walters not hook up with them." Rowan said though she was a sucker for the drama it brought.

Scarlet decorated Fawn's face as her eyes snapped towards the blonde girl. "I didn't hook up with Alex!" She snapped defensively. Her face burning.

"Fawn..calm down." Victor tried to soothe her but she looked furious at such accusations. "We just don't want you to get hurt again. You loved Cole so much and I can't bare to see you in that sort of pain again."

"Alex is not Cole! He's sweet and reliable and so very caring. He will do anything to see someone smile and shamelessly read the same book multiple times." Fawn said, her voice heavy with emotions as she defended not only her actions but Alex Walter himself.

Victor paused for a moment at her words looking towards the other two girls; Angelica looked on with understanding and Rowan a romantic set like she just watched the notebook yet again.

Fawn's words seemed to strike something different in each one. Romance, understanding and realization.

"You love him don't you?" Victor asked as he looked at her. That question made Fawn freeze as she looked towards him. "What?" Her voice was small

"This whole time you've loved him, haven't you? You were with Cole but you hung out with Alex more, always with Alex." The older boy seemed so certain in his words, like he figured out the riddle of the young girl.

Surly that wasn't true, she loves...no loved Cole at one point in time, it hasn't always been Alex. But maybe it should have been, everything would have been easier...but life isn't easy so why would love be?

"That makes sense." Angelica said thoughtful as she joined in the thought. "Fawn why did you even start to dat-"

"Enough! I came home perfectly happy. Why are you ruining this for me?" She asked with a small shutter in her breathing. "Why can't I be happy?"

"You can be happy Fawn.. we're just worried that's all." Angelica spoke as she stood up to move towards Fawn. The girl taking a step back away from the three.

"You don't have to worry about me. I'm okay, everything is okay. I'm going to bed and tomorrow we will be dropping this." She pointed at the girl as she backed towards the door before finally turning her back on them as she walked out.

Fawn hurried to her room, closing the door behind her before leaning on it. Her thoughts were racing and frankly she didn't want to think of anything at this moment, just about that night before she got home.

Sorry it's a short one but it's something:)
