Annabeth POV

I don't know how long I lied there but I knew only one thing, Percy was gone. He exposed the whole male community of witches for me. I didn't know what to do.

"Annabeth! Annabeth what happened?" I heard Sally shouting up it was so distant. "Annabeth!" She was sitting on the floor holding me as I cried.

"They took him. They tried to take me, he stopped them, he protected me. I couldn't stop them! I wasn't strong enough!" I kept rambling on.

"Annabeth, please calm down. Who took Percy?" I heard Mr Blofis. I didn't care about our secret identities. 

"Witch hunters," I looked at Sally. She looked like she was going to join me crying on the floor of the living room.

"Percy is a witch?" Paul asked. He then looked at Sally, "Are you a witch?"

"No, Percy's father is a witch, I didn't know at the time, I only found out when he told me he had a wife," Sally started to cry. I tried not to cry but once Sally started I couldn't stop.

"Okay, so the Government have Percy, that means they now know that males can be witches. What I'd like to know is how they found out Percy was a witch, its not like you guys were using magic. You're not a witch, right Annabeth?" Paul asked looking at me. I felt Sally's eyes on me as well.

"I haven't known for long, three months. Percy, he's the one who did the test on me," I explained. I looked at Sally, they must have been watching us for a few weeks because we weren't using magic when they attacked. 

"Percy has been using magic?" Sally asked. I looked down, I felt guilty about lying to this woman that basically adopted me as soon as she found out I didn't have a mother.

"He's part of a coven of teen witches, we all go to Goode," I told her. With the looks both adults gave me I sighed and explained about the coven and who was apart of it. I left out the fact that Mr Di Angelo knew of the coven.

"So what you are telling me is that, you guys have formed a coven using a band as the cover and not telling any adult. You were doing unsupervised magic and what you didn't expect to be caught?" Paul asked.

"Easy Paul, they were obviously careful on what they were doing and normally I know when Percy is lying to me but I didn't," Sally defended me.

"I need to tell the other," I whispered and I pulled out my phone to text the group chat. Before I did I realized that Percy was part of the group chat. I looked around the room to see if he had his phone on him or if it was here. I left out a breath once I saw his phone sitting on the kitchen bench.

'We need to have a meeting NOW!' I messaged the group.

'Why?' Hazel asked

'I tell you when I see you.' I answered

'Annabeth, what's wrong?' Nico asked

'I'll tell you soon' I answered

'Okay, we'll meet at the Di Angelo's' Jason replied

'No! We need to go somewhere else, somewhere no one will know where we are,' I told them.

'I know a place. Meet at central park' Will sent 

'I'll see you all there then,' I replied. I looked over to Sally and Paul. They were looking at me worriedly.

"I have to go. Don't worry I'll get Percy back and when I'm finished there's going to be no more witch hunters," I told them as I stood up and headed toward the door.

I started humming a song. I've never even heard the song, I don't even think it exist. I started to sing under my breath. I swear to the Gods I will never sing again until I get my Percy back.

By the time I got to the park I had finished my song and everyone was already there. 

"Will we can't talk here, where's this secret place," I asked glaring at the blonde.

"We still have to wait for Percy," Will defended. I glared at him.

"Percy isn't coming," I stated.

"I have a feeling you're not going to tell us until we're in private why he isn't coming," Will guessed.

"You guessed correctly,"

"Alright lets go," Will waved everyone to follow him, heading towards a thicker part on the trees.
