Annabeth POV

I stood in the center of my cabin, staring at at the door, the door Percy just walked out of, after he broke up with me. I blinked my tears back, I knew who was behind this, why couldn't she see that I love him and he loves me.

"MOM!" I screamed, "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO HIM!" I heard her appear behind me.

"Say what? To who?" Athena, the Goddess of wisdom, asked playing dumb.

"Stop playing dumb, it doesn't look good on you," I snapped at her, "What did you say to him?" I asked slowly.

"I explained that you two would never work out and that something will happen that will hurt both of you, I don't want you to get hurt by that sea scum Annabeth, I care for you too much," My mother explained.

"You care for me? If you cared for me, you wouldn't have done that! Percy loves me! And I love him! He would never hurt me or let me hurt if he could stop it, why can't you see that? How are you so smart but so stupid at the same time?" I ranted at her.

"Annabeth, It's whats best for you and your future," She tried to explain.

"Well you obviously don't know me," I told her, "Just leave, don't talk to me again, don't ever intervene in my life again," I turned around so she could flash out.

"Annabeth I-" Athena tried.

"JUST GO!" I screamed. I heard her leave, that's when I broke down and cried on my bed. 

After a while, I don't know what happened but I began to sing how I felt.

The door opened cutting my singing off. That's when Percy came through the door smiling at me.

"Annabeth, I'm so sorry, will you ever forgive me?" he asked getting on his knees in front of where I was sitting on my bed and grabbing my hands. I turned head refusing to meet his eyes. He sighed and started singing, pulling out a small box.

Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone.
I love you, and that's all I really know.
I talked to your mom – go pick out a white dress

I started laughing. "Are you serious?" I asked looking at the ring box in his hand.

"Your mother gave me another visit and gave me this and told me she was wrong," He explained, looking at me in the eyes, "So wise girl what do you say?" 

"Yes!" I shouted, attacking him in a hug and giving him a kiss. At least my Mother tried to fix her mistakes.
