Periwinkle decided to test her limits that night.

She was agitated with the warning light that Dottie put on her mega ring.

Periwinkle was blinded with anger.

However, she made a hard landing and started a fire.

The firefighter, an old sparrow man named Mayday, was apparently lazy.

The area had to be closed for repairs.

Periwinkle decided that she and her sister would become firefighting fairies themselves.

Mayday was pleased with that.

The next morning, Periwinkle and her sister were on their way to the Winter Woods runway, when they saw three fairies in a struggle.

Two were boys and the third was a girl.

"Hey, Jake! Lay off of Robin, will you?!" Snapped the female fairy, whose name was India.

"India, he got my goat!" Retorted the male fairy named Jake.

"So? It doesn't matter!" India shouted.

Periwinkle formed three snowballs with her powers and threw them at Jake, India and Robin.

Robin glared at the twins.

"Robin, first of all, I'm sorry that we fought." Jake apologized.

He then turned to look at Periwinkle and Tinker Bell.

"Second of all, those two stopped our fight. You can thank them."

India had long blonde hair, blue eyes, a pink and white dress that went down to her ankles, white high heels, and a rose hairpiece.

Jake had black hair.

He was wearing a black hat, a black t-shirt, a blue denim jacket with a pattern of a red and white rocket ship and a white hat-looking pattern on the left arm sleeve, light blue jeans and black sneakers.

Robin had brown hair and green eyes.

He wore a blue denim jacket like Jake, except Robin's didn't have any patterns.

He also wore green sneakers, a white hat with yellow sunglasses, a yellow t-shirt and white jeans.

"Jake, Robin and I are heading to Summer Glade to meet up with Lady Selphy, Mayday's old friend. We're going to get trained to be firefighting fairies." India explained.

"So are we!" Tinker Bell said. "Periwinkle, my sister, busted her gearbox, and she doesn't want to go back to frosting crops."

"But at least you can still fly." Jake replied.

That cracked India and Robin up.

"Would you like to come with us?" Tinker Bell asked!

Jake, India and Robin all smiled.

"Sure!"

The five fairies met up with Mayday and the others.

Peri and co. were going to meet with Lady Selphy.

They would all get trained and certified.

"Good luck, girls!" Mayday called.

"Take it easy out there!" Dottie advised.

"Make sure Robin and Jake don't fight again!" shouted Kathryn.

"You can do it, girls!" Gliss hollered. "We're proud of you!"

Periwinkle and her sister smiled at their friends and took off, soaring into the sky, with Jake, India and Robin at their side.

The fairies climbed toward the clouds and flew over miles and miles of snow and frost covered cornfields.

Periwinkle felt great.

She brought her wrist up to her face and looked down at her mega ring.

When her torque gauge rose into the yellow, Peri's smiled faded away.

She backed off the power and flew at average speed.

India placed a comforting hand on Periwinkle's shoulder.

Tinker Bell was not happy about her sister's gearbox.

But Jake knew a song to comfort the girls.

Jake: There's a time in your life, when the world is on your side.

Knowing the words, Periwinkle smiled and began to sing along.

A glowing rainbow light that surrounded Periwinkle sprang up.

Jake and Periwinkle: You might not feel it, you might not see it, but it surrounds you like a light, makes you stronger for the fight.

Periwinkle and co. enjoyed the long flight to Summer Glade.

The rainbow light aura faded.

They passed over impressively rugged badlands, with the striking rust-colored mountains.

Periwinkle pointed at the sunflowers below them.

All: Never letting go, gotta learn to grow, watch me as I touch the sky. Still I fly.

The five fairies flew over quaint towns and wide-open farmlands.

All: Now I know it's what I've gotta do, find the dream that's new, give it all I've got this time.

India: Still I fly.

Jake, Periwinkle and Tinker Bell: Still I fly.

Periwinkle, her sister and their friends knew they were getting close when they caught the fresh scent of pine needles drifting up into the air.

The five fairies then saw a breathtaking forest stretched out below them.

Jake, India, Robin and the twins continued their song, Peri becoming more confident.

They were getting deeper into Summer Glade.

Towering pines, redwoods, and sequoias covered huge mountains.

A railway bridge wound its way around the forest.

The captain, who was driving a train, blew his whistle when he saw Periwinkle.

She returned the gesture with a dip of her wing.

Tinker Bell took in the scent of the pines.

The five fairies flew past a geyser.

Jake, Periwinkle and Robin: Bring it in, I'm gonna shine.

India and Tinker Bell: It's my moment, gotta live it, gotta live it right.

All: I'm flying, flying so strong.

The gang flew past some garden fairies.

Jake, India and Robin: Never letting go, gotta learn to grow, watch me as I touch the sky.

Tinker Bell: Still I fly.

All: Still I fly!!

With triumphant smiles, the five fairies gave each other high fives as they landed at the Air Attack Base.
