"Why is she making me do grunt work?" I growled to myself as I ran around the town, delivering leaflets to homes of greedy humans as I hold out a touch screen phone called a [Greed Scanner] to find the next place I had to go to.

After another boring day in school, I went to the [ORC] to get my first Devil job... Which is what I'm doing right now. At first, I thought that I would gain a quest from it... But that didn't happen at all, so I had to do this bullshit without gaining a reward other than training with my [Cloud Flames].

I have to thank the [Propagation] characteristic of the [Cloud Flames] to duplicate the leaflets instead of running back to the club room to restock, which will piss me off a lot if I see that the others (expect Hyōdō, since she's doing the same thing as me) sitting on the sofas while drinking tea.

The only reason why I'm still doing this is because I want to LvL up my [Cloud Flames], I'm not going to do something stupid like this if it wasn't going to benefit me in anyways at all.

I nodded to myself while closing the pop-up window. I didn't gained anything very valuable like the [Lost Arts of Taekwondo] after my first day in this world, just regular items you can find in most RPG/MMORPG-

I felt an attack heading towards me from my back and I also felt that the attacker wasn't too far away from my location. I instantly used [Bo-Bup] to appear behind the attacker and did a front flip before delivering a [Sky Kick] on my attacker's head, sending him/her to the ground and possibly knocking him/her out.

Landing on the ground again, I looked at the downed form of my attacker was surprised to the appearance of her. A little girl with blond hair in twin-tails and she wear a Gothic Lolita attire, which consisted of a black Lolita dress with white frills, a large black bow on the front, and a green jewel embedded on the collar, white thigh-high socks, and black shoes. She also wore a large black bow on top of her hair.

Why did she-wait. After getting a read of her aura, which felt like dim light like Himejima-san, I realised that she must be a Fallen Angel. Hmm... She might know who killed 'me', so might as well take her home as either a hostage or a guest, if she's willing to cooperate.

Picking up the little Fallen and placing her over my shoulder like a sack of potatoes, I quickly made my way home without anyone spotting me. I don't wanted to be called a kidnapper or a lolicon for having a little girl on my shoulder.

I placed the Fallen on 1 of my couches as I see that she wouldn't be waking up anytime soon, so might as well sleep and talk with her tomorrow.

- the next day -

I woke up early to talk with the Fallen in hopes of finding out of their plan and who killed 'me'... Only to see that the Fallen is still asleep. I looked at the little girl with deadpan eyes, seeing that she has a relaxed expression on her face and she was snoring softly. I might as well just use [Observe] on her to see a hint of her strength.

Man... She's weak, I guess that's the reason why I was able to beat her in a single attack "Might as well wake her up right now..." I muttered to myself before gathering mana into my right index finger before it lit up with [Lightning Flames]. Pointing said finger towards Mittelt, I willed the [Dying Will Flame] to strike the little Fallen Angel lightly.

[BUZZ!]

[KYAAAAAHHHHH!!!] Mittelt shrieked loudly while jumping off my couch as she fully woke up from my 'attack', falling on the ground in the process.

"Ugh, w-what happened?" Mittelt groan as she got off from her spot. I watched her look around the living room for a bit until she spots me, and it looks like it took her a few seconds to remember who I am as she jumped into her feet and points a finger at my direction [YOU!!!]

I waved a hand at her in a lazy manner. I noticed her tense up and formed a Light Spear in her hand before she threw it at me, which is very slow. I just lit up my left hand with [Lightning Flames] and catched it, before vaporising it without much of a problem.

But it seems like she's not finished, as she created another Light Spear and tried to attack me... But I simple caught it with same [Lightning Flame] laced hand and held it firm before destroying the Light Spear in the same way like last spear that she created.

She jumped back, but I used [Bo-Bup] to appear behind Mittelt and placed a hand on her should, stopping her completely "Are you done? Because I suggest you stop this foolish attempt on my life." I stated with a sharp edge in my voice. I already grew tired at her pathetic attacks and I'm not a morning person, so I'm a bit cranky right now.

"W-where am I?" Mittelt stuttered while looking up towards me.

"My house obviously, I'm the only person living here so it is just you and me."

I saw the Fallen Angel opened her mouth then closed it. She couldn't fathom what the hell was going on "Uh... huh?" Was all that she could muter out.

"*sigh* sit down, don't do anything stupid against me, don't interrupt me when I'm talking and I'll explain things to you, alright?" She nodded before sitting back to the couch that she slept on. I sat back on the couch in front of her, looking straight at Mittelt's blue eyes "Now I understand you will have questions but you will not interrupt, save them for when I finish."

Mittelt gave dumbfounded nod, I took that as a signal to continue "Now firstly, you are a Fallen Angel who tried to kill me yesterday and failed. I am sure you know why you tried, because I'm a Devil and you thought that I would be an easy kill." It didn't need to be a genius to figure out that part, since there's still some bad blood between the 3 Factions.

Mittelt flinched and nodded, proving my suspicions "Since you failed in this task of yours and you didn't return to your base yet, I'm positive that you partners in crime might think that you're already dead and wouldn't bothered to find you."

Mittelt opened her mouth to try and deny my words, but I sent her a glare that shut her up "There's another thing that you have failed to realised, your attack could have started another Great War."

The Fallen blinked, trying to process my words before her eyes widen [EEEEHHH!!!]

"Didn't I say 'don't interrupt me when I'm talking'!?"

Mittelt flinch again from my shout and she went silent her once more "*cough* As I was about to say before I was interrupted, the reason why another Great War would had happen is because I'm a Devil under the servitude of Rias Gremory-san, heiress of the House of Gremory and the little sister of Lucifer."

I paused for a few seconds to allow Mittelt to process my word, who paled when I mentioned the word 'Lucifer'. I didn't know who this 'Lucifer' is, or how important he/she might be but I have a hunch that this person is famous, or maybe infamous to be other 2 factions.

"If you have successfully killed me, than Gremory-san and the other members of the peerage might try to avenge me and if she was somehow killed in the battle with you and your comrades, then Lucifer might came to your doorstep and kill you all. And this cycle of vengeance will continue until war breaks lose."

I paused for a second time to give the Fallen, who started sweating and turned even paler than snow, enough time to understand the logic of my words. Even if I didn't have much info on the relationships between the 3 Fractions, I can understand that pissing off someone important in either factions will lead to another Great War.

"Now since I told you this, I want some info in exchanged." I stated while crossing my arms. My demand brought back Mittelt back to reality, as I stared at her with cold eyes "First, I want to know who killed me, why I was killed and if he/she is in your group."

- later in the afternoon -

I stood inside the Dojo of Kuoh Academia's Kendo club with a bokken in my right hand. Facing me is Yumi Kiba, the [Knight] of Gremory-san... This whole thing happened after Kiba had seen me asking for a spar with Murayama and the blondie offered to spar with me instead, sending most of the Kendo girls into squealing messes.

I wonder if most of the girls in this school are either Yuri or something close to it.

"Are you ready, Kōjiro-kun?"

I gave a smirk to Kiba's question, gripping the bokken with both hands and spread my legs apart a bit "Show me what you got, Kiba." The blondie nodded with a smile as she took her own sword stance.

I took calming breaths, secretly performing the [Shigure Soen Ryu, 6th Form: Gofuu Juuu], as I waited for the starting call. I wanted to see how I would fair against another sword user, minus my Mentor, in a spar. While I might again [EXP] just by killing Monsters in the [Instant Dungeon] to become more powerful, strength holds nothing against the skills of other sword users.

"Start!" One of the Kendo girls called.

I waited as Kiba made the first move, who charged forward and swings her sword down. I did a sidestep before moving into my opponent's guard as I jabbed the bokken forward, aiming to strike the blondie's chest.

Kiba stepped to her left to dodge the attack before swinging at me again. I simply ducked under the horizontal strike and stabbing out with the hilt as if I drawing it a sheathe and striking Kiba in the chest.

*Oof!* Kiba grunted as the air was knocked from her lungs.

I went with an upwards slash, *tack!* but it was blocked easily.

We continued this little 'dance' of ours. Dodging, blocking and parrying, we repeated this movements with smiles, or a smirk in my case, on our faces as the other members of the [ORC] and the Kendo girls cheered us on from the side lines.

*tack!* I blocked another diagonal attack from Kiba. From what I can tell so far from her strikes, she has formal training with a few battle [EXP]... But I can tell that she has no style or form at all with her sword skills!

I pushed Kiba back and 'attacked' her with a horizontal slash. When she attempted to block my 'attack', the blonde didn't noticed that my bokken was actually falling to my free hand. When she finally realised it, it was too late as I preformed a raising diagonal slash to strike her hand that's holding the bokken and forced it away from her.

I took the moment when she's still stunned to tap my bokken on her left shoulder "Checkmate." I declared with a smirk, snapping her out of her shock. I didn't need to look at the audience to know that they're surprised as well.

"Looks like I lost..." Kiba muttered as she stepped back, both of us relaxing our stances as I started walking towards Murayama and returned the bokken with a small smile, giving her a 'thank you' for letting me use it.

"Where did you learn to use a sword?" She asked curiously.

I don't want to tell anyone that the [Shigure Soen Ryu] actually exists in this world, so might as well tell her half the true "I didn't learn any formal style. I just did a sword style from [Katekyō Hitman Reborn!], that's all." Was all I said before walked out of the Dojo.

- later in the evening -

I walked back to my house after another round of giving away stupid leaflets, my mind wondered to the revelation on 'my' killer and the reason why.

Dohnaseek is the name, from what Mittelt told me, and the reason he killed 'me' because he was pissed off that day so he vented that anger towards 'me' since I was alone at that time... That has got to be the lamest and most senseless reason to kill a living being in the first place, I'll make sure to pay him back.

I also found out that their original orders was to only watch Hyōdō, but this Kokabiel appeared before them and told about a change of plans to kill her because of the dangerous [Sacred Gear] she possess...

I would how stupid this guys are... They had this 'dangerous' [Sacred Gear] within their grasps, and they didn't do anything to sway Hyōdō into their side... They just gave their enemy, the Devils, more power because of their stupidity.

Kokabiel told them to take the [Sacred Gear] of an Exiled Sister. She holds the healer type [Sacred Gear: Twilight Healing] and that a Fallen Angel could use it better then her for there own comrades... I feel that I'll face him eventually in battle.

I soon arrived at the door of my house and opened it, before realising that lights are on. I grew alert and used [Vongola Hyper Intuition] to sense the intruders... To feel that there's only 1 person and I know who this person. With deadpan eyes I walked towards the living room where the intruder is in right now to find the little Fallen Mittelt, watching an anime on my T.V.

Why is she here again? Hmm... I think it was because I said that if she leaves, then I'll kill her the next time we meet. To think that someone would be willing to be a prisoner just to stay alive.

"Oi." I called out the blondie Angel, making her jump as she materialised a Light Spear and throw it at me. I simply caught it with [Lightning Flame] laced right hand, again, and vaporised the attack without any problem, again, all while keeping my deadpanned stare.

"Really? This is how you greet the guy who allowed you to stay here, by throwing Light Spears at him?"

"A-ah..." Was all that Mittelt could stutter out to answer my question.

"*sigh* If you're going to stay here, I might as well train you." I muttered to her, thinking of the possible training regimen that I can give her.

"Train me?"

I nodded at her question, before a wicked grin formed on my face as I thought of the perfect torture/training I can give her "Yes... I hope you don't have a fear of zombies." I said to her while giving a sign to follow me. I hope that she can handle a Witch or 2, because I'll show her the horrors of the undead to the fullest.
