The Stars:

This is kinda a poem/short story

We lay in the soft grass in front of our tree on a hill as the sun sets in
Then he smiles and when he smiles it feels like the sun is shining on my skin
Then I get this feeling of warmth flowing through me again

As time goes by and the sun sets I set my eyes upon his eyes
Realizing that his gaze now matches mines

At this point I began to feel my heart flutter
And as I try to say I love you I start to stutter so I say nothing and return my gaze back towards the sky

As the night finds its way into the sky
Soon the stars starts to arrive

As the stars illuminate against my skin, I get this feeling in my stomach again
The feeling of love flowing through my veins
looking at him I could tell he feels the same

-then I start thinking to myself-And you understands how it feels to be hurt
To be kicked in your heart and treated like dirt
But you got back up and stood real tough then you changed your perspective on love now look at us...

As we lay back against our oak tree
He say's three little magical words to me...

"I love you, I love your natural smell and your unique hair as well, your beautiful but not just any type of beautiful but gorgeous and your heart is so enormous you make me wanna sing until my voice gives out
And get on top of the highest mountain and scream and shout
And dance until our legs go numb
And hold you until we see the sun
Cause baby I love don't you know that"

..then I look at him with a loss of words and tears in my eyes
As I think to myself-have I really found the right guy-
Then he pulls me close to where our noses touch
Then suddenly I hear something saying wake up

Then I wake up realizing it was only a dream
But my smile never leaves realizing that he's laying next to me. We've been married for five years strong
As he looks at me and I look at him I think to myself- I knew I'd be with you all along-

I try not to think about him so much to the point where people think it's crazy and bizarre
But one thing that will never go away is the first time he told me he loves me underneath
