Serena's P.O.V.

"Thank arceus you all are safe." Sycamore sighs of relief. "We'll talk later, we need to head back to camp." He looks at his watch, which reads 9:01pm.

Sycamore turns around and begins walking back.

I place my hand on a nearby tree and try to stand up. Surprisingly, it worked. I couldn't stand earlier, but looks like it has gotten better since then.

"Serena? Don't get up, your knee isn't properly healed yet." Ash walks over to me.

"N-no, I'm fine. See, look! I'm standing up straight!" I put my hands together and give him a smile.

"Can you walk?"

"Uh...well, I haven't tried yet." I sweat drop.

I take a step with my injured knee. As I put my weight on that leg, I squint my eye as I feel some pain shoot through me. I am literally limping right now.

"Yeah, you can totally walk." He playfully rolls his eyes.

"Shut up." I stick my tongue at him, causing him to smirk. "At least I can stand." I put my hands on my hips.

"Cham cham!" Pancham puts his hands on his waist as well, imitating me.

Ash takes a look at Sycamore, who is already almost gone from his sight.

"Okay, let's go. We wouldn't want to be left behind." He takes my arm and puts it around him, helping me walk.

"Hey, girly." Drew smirks. "What happened to you?" He catches up from behind.

"Team Rocket happened." I reply.

"Ashy-boy. You need help assisting Serena outta here?" Gary walks up beside him. "I can take the other side of her."

"No, I'm fine. I don't want a weirdo like you touching my girlfriend."

Upon hearing this, I don't know why, but I can't help but blush.

"Weirdo? That's the best you can think of?"

"Gary, not now please." Ash sighs.

"I can always do it if you don't want him to, you know." Calem puts his hand up.

"No, definitely not you." Ash shakes his head. "Thanks for all the offers, but I can do it." Ash walks away from them and tries to keep up with Sycamore.

"We are only trying to help..." Gary mumbles.

"Yeah, what's so bad about that..." Calem mutters.

We get to back to camp in approximately 30 minutes. It took us longer than I expexted, meaning we fell very deep into the forest.

Thank arceus we back, because I swear I caught a glimpse of some dangerous wild pokemon lurking the forests just then.

Dawn, Iris, Misty and May, along with Max, Barry and Kenny await for our return in front of the main building.

Once Dawn sees me, she immidietly takes off and tackes me into a hug, pushing me down to the ground. During this, because I was using Ash's body for support, he got knocked over as well.

"Serena! You are alright! I was so worried!" She wails.

"H-hey...don't cry." I sweat drop.

"Ow..." Ash groans from beside me. "That hurt..."

"Pika..." Pikachu scratches its head.

"You got knocked down hard by a girl like Dawn?" Gary laughs.

"Shut it, jackass." Ash gets up and rolls his eyes.

Dawn let's go of me and helps me stand up, after noticing my injury.

"Thanks for helping us find them. You guys were a big help." Paul sarcastically says and crosses his arms.

"We tried! But then it was getting dark...that meant more b-bugs...so we had to go back!" Misty replies.

"Don't worry! You still helped, so thanks!" I give her a smile.

"See! Serena is thanking me for our hardwork while you complain we did nothing?"

"Whatever." Paul smirks. "But still. You left us with everything else.

"You don't seem to understand do you?" Misty snaps.

Paul doesn't talk much, so it's a litte weird and different for me to hear him. Also, the one time I hear him talk in a while, he's going all at it with Misty.

"Guys...please stop." I sigh. "It's late, and I had a long day. I didn't want to come back to this..."

"Alright, sorry." Misty murmurs.

Paul gives me a smirk and walks away.

"Now, will you four like to explain what happened?" Sycamore turns to Ash, Clemont, Bonnie and I.

"Yeah, we'd like to know." May says.

"This is going to be interesting!" Iris jumps. "Story time!"

"Hey, they almost died. I don't think it's a good idea to consider it as a story." Barry says.

"Died? I think that's taking it a little too far..." Clemont sweat drops. "It wasn't that bad."

"Ahem." Sycamore interupts.

"Oh, right. So...here's what happened." Ash starts.

"Can we take this inside?" I say. "My leg is killing me."

"Ah, good idea." Sycamore opens the door and lets us in.

We then told everyone exactly what happened today. Everyone was surprised to hear all the outrageous things that have happened to us.

We also got some good news from Proffesor. He called Officer Jenny to go help investigate, and she caught Team Rocket. She found them unconcious in a river. Looks like they won't be stealing pokemon again.

* * * * *

It is late at night. My phone is in my cabin, and if I could guess, I'd say it's about 10pm.

We finished talking to Sycamore and the others. Everyone most likely went to bed by now, including Ash, Clemont and Bonnie.

They are inside the cabin, sound asleep. Me, on the other hand, is still awake. I am sitting on a bench, watching the amazing view of the ocean.

I still can't believe what happened today. I never saw myself getting into that kind of mess, but I somehow did. If my mom found out, she'd freak.

My knee is getting better. It still hurts, but thankfully, I can now walk again.

"What a beautiful view." A voice says behind me.

"Ash?" I turn around, recognizing his voice.

He takes a seat on the bench next to me and puts his arm around my shoulder.

"The ocean is beautiful..." I turn back to the view in front of me.

"I was talking about you, dummy." He smirks.

"W-what?" My cheeks turn the color of a Magicarp. "Ash don't start with this."

"Okay, fine." He chuckles.

I lean my head on his shoulder. "I thought you gone to bed."

"I thought you were in bed too. Back in the cabin, I reached over to spoon you while still half asleep, and didn't feel you there."

I let out a small giggle.

"Then I opened my eyes, now fully awake to find you gone. So I came out here."

"Well, you can spoon me when we get back inside." I kiss his cheek.

We stay silent for a while, admiring the view. The brisk, cold air of the night sent shivers throughout my entire body, so I snuggled closer to Ash.

"Today was really nostalgic, don't you think?" I break the silence.

"You finally realized, huh."

"What do you mean?" I lift my head from his shoulder to look at him.

"I meant to do that. Once I saw you hurt, I knew it was the perfect time to reenact our little moment 8 years ago."

"So that's why you went into my bag earlier."

"Yup. It wouldn't be right without the hankerchief." He puts his hand on my knee, which is still wrapped with the hankerchief.

"True."

"Actually, this entire trip is nostolgic. We get to go to summer camp again, just like when we were kids. Who knew that clumbsy, timid girl back then would be the one I'd fall in love with today." He looks me straight into the eyes.

I lean in and give him a long, passionate kiss. You can say that we ended up having a make out session. That was......fun.

We then returned to the cabin after to call it night.

* * * * *

"Wake up, sleepy heads!"

I swat away the hand shaking my shoulders away from me. Looks like it didn't work, because the hands come right back.

"It's time to wake up, you little lovebirds!" Bonnie pounces between Ash and I.

"Piikkkaachuuu!!!" Pikachu shocks its trainer.

"AGGGHHHH!!" Ash groans in pain.

This scares the living daylights out of me and causes me to wake up and fall off the bed. The sound of Pikachu's thunderbolt an inch away from your ear is defeaning.

"Ow..."

As I finally open my eyes, I am only scared to death once again by Ash falling right on top of me, covered in black soot.

"Finally, you guys are up!" Bonnie says.

"A-ash...c-can't breathe..." I try to push him off me.

"Sorry..." He rolls off and falls beside me, afterwards coughing out smoke.

"Today is the last day of camp. We better get ready." Clemont puts a finger up.

"And you had to wake me up by shocking me?!" Ash growls.

"Pika pika." Pikachu shrugs, saying he should be used to it by now, since he shocks Ash almost every morning.

"I call the bathroom first. I need to wash the soot off caused by a certain someone." Ash directs at Pikachu.

"Pika..." Pikachu sweat drops.

Ash grabs his clothes and shuts the bathroom door.

"Serena, what happened? You usually wake up really early." Bonnie jumps and sits beside me.

"Did you stay up late last night?" Clemont asks.

"Well...yeah, sort of." I blush at the thought of what happened last night.

"Anyways, I'm so excited for today! Proffesor probably has something special planned for us today!" Bonnie clasps her hands together.

"Yeah!" I nod. "I hope it's good, it is last day after all."

* * * * *

"Good morning!" Sycamore says through the microphone.

After all that madness in our cabin earlier, it is finally time to listen to Proffesor's announcement once again.

"Today's activity will be the best one yet."

"Oohh...best one? I'm pumped!" Gary punches the air.

"Today's activity will be a water balloon fight." Sycamore says. "I hope you guys have bathing suits or extra clothes, because you will be getting soaked."

"Balloon fight?" May repeats.

"Sounds like a little kid's activity to me." Drew smirks.

"Balloon fight?! Alright!" Max and Bonnie cheer in unison.

"I'm assuming everyone knows how a balloon fight works. Well, I decided to spice things up a bit. Obviously, you will be teaming up with your teams. You guys will have to hit others with a water balloon. We arw going to be using the points you guys earned from the last few days. For each water balloon hit, is one point added to your scores. But...for each time you, yourself get hit by a balloon, you will lose a point."

"Now this makes it more interesting." Misty says.

"So we pretty much have to avoid getting hit so we don't lose any points." Calem says.

"Here is a recap of everybody's points so far." Sycamore shows the score board.

1st place - Team Froakie, 9 points

2nd place - Team Charmander, 5 points

3rd place - Team Chikorita, 4 points

4th place - Team Cyndaquil, 1 point

5th place - Team Snivy, 0 points

"Oh yeah! First place!" Ash jumps.

"I'll destroy you with balloons and get your points down, Ashy-boy." Gary says.

"I won't let you, we are definitely holding the top spot." Ash fist pumps.

"0 points." May sweat drops.

"We need to pick up our game." Iris sweat drops along with her.

"We have not added the points from yesterday, because it wouldn't be fair to the people who got caught in the incident." Sycamore says. "Anyways, the entire camp is your arena for this game. The balloons are scattered around the area. The time limit is 30 minutes."

"30 minutes...that's enough time to beat Ashy." Gary says to himself.

"Please scatter around the camp. Once you see this flare shoot into the sky, the game has begun."

"Alright, let's go." Ash runs off, followed by Bonnie, Clemont and I.

We decide to hide behind our cabin. During our way here, we have gathered a few balloons in sight.

"Okay, all ready." Ash places the balloons on the ground.

"Just by touching these balloons, I can tell the water in them is freezing cold." Clemont say as he wipes his hands.

The flare shoots into the sky, making a loud noise. The game has begun.

I take a peak from behind our cabin. Other students are going crazy, hitting eachother with balloons.

"Hey, what's the plan?" I turn to Ash.

"Well, we stay here and wait until someone passes our cabin. That's when we hit them from here. They'll have no idea where the balloon came from, cause we are hiding here."

"Oooh, okay!" Bonnie picks up a balloon and awaits.

All of a sudden, the feeling of cold water hits me from the behind, causing me to yelp.

"W-what?!" Ash looks at me in surprise, and turns in the direction where the balloon came from. That is when another balloon hits him straight in the face.

"T-that's c-cold..." Ash spits out the water that has entered his mouth.

2 more balloons come our way, hitting Bonnie and Clemont.

"Haha! Gotcha!" We hear Gary's voice.

"Plus 4 points for us." Calem smirks.

His team then runs off, leaving us dumbfounded.

"T-that means...minus 4 points for us..." I sweat drop.

"They get a whopping 9 points, while we now get 5 points." Clemont sighs.

"We aren't in first place anymore!" Bonnie cries.

"Okay, forget hiding. We need to get serious and get our points back." Ash takes balloons and runs off.

Clemont, Bonnie and I take the rest of the balloons and follow him out of here.

As we follow Ash, who is not too far away in front of us, a sudden balloon comes flying and hits his side, bringing us down to 4 points.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?! AGAIN?!" He rages. He holds a balloon in his hand and searches for the person who hit him.

He finds the person, laughing at him not too far away. The culprit turns out to be May.

Ash throws a balloon with all his might, hitting May on her forehead.

If May is here, then the rest of Team Snivy is here as well. I spot Iris hiding behind a tree. I take a balloon and whoop it at her, hitting her thigh.

"Agh!" She shrieks. "Serena! How dare you!" She attempts to throw a balloon at me, but fails as I move out of the way just in time.

That gives us a boost to 6 points, leaving Team Snivy with -1 points. The fact that they are in the negatives make me want to laugh really hard.

We run off in the direction of Gary's team to get our points back from them. On our way, we had to dodge any incoming balloons from other students. We have also got to hit others on our way.

Once we got the Gary's team, we are at 13 points. All the kids we hit on our way here really payed off. We hide behind another cabin to make sure Gary's team isn't looking.

I take a look at the score board. We are currently in third place. In second, is Team Cyndaquil, with 14 points. In first is Team Charmander with 17 points.

As we hide, Clemont catches Kenny running around with Barry, Dawn and Misty. He adjusts his glasses and throws a balloon, knocking Kenny down, bringing them down to 13 points and raising us up to 14 points. We have now taken second place.

"AGH!!!" He shouts. "Run! We don't have any balloons left!!!" He takes off along with the rest of his team.

Barry somehow trips on his own foot while running, and faceplants onto the ground. This gives Bonnie the perfect time to earn a point for our side. She takes a balloon and throws it at him, drenching him in ice cold water. We boost to 15 points, bringing them down to 12 points.

"GET UP BARRY! WE ARE GOING TO LOSE MORE POINTS!!!" Misty shouts.

Barry quickly gets up and runs off with the others. They would fight back, if only they had any balloons left.

I look at the time on the score board. We have 2 minutes left.

"Ash! We need to do something now!" I take his shoulder to get his attention.

"Yeah, I know. Okay, I will go for Gary. Serena you go for Drew, Bonnie you go for Calem and Clemont you go for Paul."

"Okay." Clemont nods.

"When I say go, throw your balloon."

Ash takes a peek at the four. He is waiting for the right time to ambush them without being caught.

I take another look at the time. 30 seconds left.

Finally, Gary, Paul, Drew and Calem face their backs towards us.

"Now!!!" Ash shouts.

We all throw our balloons at the same time, taking a direct hit to the backs of the four boys. Gary and Paul groan at the feeling of the cold water on their backs, while Calem and Drew fall to the ground.

"Ashy..." Gary groans. "How dare you..."

That is when the flare fires into the sky again, indicating the end of the game.

"Did we win?" Ash wonders. We did hit them at the last second, so we don't know if the points made in time.

Sycamore calls everyone to the front of the main building.

"Alors! That was electrifying! Now...for the final results of the last day..." He turns his head to the scoreboard.

"In third place...Team Cyndaquil with 12 points!"

"Oh yeah!" Team Cyndaquil cheer.

"In second place...Team Charmander with 13 points!"

"Erg...so we did fall down." Calem sighs.

"And in first place, the victors of my summer camp, with a score of 19 points, Team Froakie!"

"Alright!" I jump.

"We did it!" Bonnie cheers.

"We couldn't have done it without the help of science!" Clemont does a victory pose.

"First place is ours!" Ash fist pumps.

Gary sighs and walks up to us along with the rest of our friends.

"I hate to say this, but congratz." Gary puts a hand on Ash's shoulder.

"Yeah, congratulations guys!" Dawn smiles.

"Thanks!" I reply.

"Hehe." Ash scratches his head.

"And that wraps it up! Thank you so much for attending my camp. I hope to see you all again!" Sycamore says.

* * * * *

After all that, everyone went back to their cabins to pack up. Our team stayed back for a while to take a picture to be hung up in the hall of fame. We each were given a copy of the photo as a memory of today.

We went back to our cabin as well to pack afterwards.

Right now, we are loading our stuff onto our bus. The buses are supposed to take us home for the rest of the day. We have to seperate from Calem at this point, because he doesn't take the blue bus.

I finish loading my things into the back of the bus. I jump into the bus and take my seat beside Ash.

"This week was fun." Ash says as he looks out the window at the disappearing camp.

"Yeah. But now I have to go back to waking up early in the morning by my mom's Fletchling."

"Doesn't sound as bad as getting shocked by Pikachu." He looks down at his partner, who is sleeping on his lap.

I let out a small giggle and lean my head on his shoulder.

"Hey, don't get my shoulder wet."

I sweat drop as I realize my hair is still soaking wet from the balloon fight.

I lift my head from his shoulder, until he takes the side of my head and pushes it back down.

"I was just kidding. I like it when you lean your head on me anyways."

"Hehe. Alright then."

Camp was fun. Although it pains me to go back home to my normal routine, I am still looking forward to see my mom again. I really want to tell her all about what happened.

I take a look at the time, and afterwards close my eyes. This will be a long bus ride, so it will be a good idea to catch the missed hours of sleep last night. Until we get back home, this will be a relaxing ride.
