Finally, class is over.

I know that this was supposed to be the introductory day and all, but man some of these lessons got boring.

But really, I brought this upon me when I decided to take on all these courses immediately. I should've listened to Jay.

He's probably relaxing in his room now, done for the day hours ago. But of course, I was too stubborn to follow his path.

Whatever, it doesn't matter now.

I walk across the campus, making sure to stop by the cafeteria nearby in order to finally buy us some drinks.

Black coffee for me, hot chocolate with whipped cream, sprinkles, and marshmallows for Jay.

Yeah, I tried to tell him to dial back on the order if he wants to live on a budget, but there's nothing like a good, sweet drink for him.

Besides, I don't think he'll mind if I secretly pay for it from time to time.

I walk in, greeting the cashier with a smile.

"Finally done with your classes?" she says as he makes my order.

"Yup. I'm starting to regret not listening to Jay."

"Hey, even a spoiled brat can be right twice a day," she says as she slides the drinks toward me, making me roll my eyes.

"If you say so."

I hand her the money and quickly head out, not wanting to waste another second of free time.

"See ya later, Camille."

"See ya, roomie," she tells me as I exit the door.

I sigh and clutch my coat closer to me, the hot drinks warming up my hands.

Time to relax, finally.

I make my way to the boys' dorms, feeling like a deer in headlights as I try to avoid whatever doofuses are chasing each other in the hallways.

You'd think that college would change some people, but no.

I walk up to a door that I've become familiar with all too well over the past month, knocking hesitantly.

Footsteps approach and the door opens, and I'm luckily met with a friendly look on the other side.

"Oh, hey Nya."

"Hey, Scott," I say. "I didn't know you'd be here or else I'd have brought you a drink too."

"Don't worry about it." He brushes off my embarrassment, holding up his energy drink. "I've got some already."

I nod understandingly as I step in, spotting my boyfriend sat on the desk, focusing on his laptop the entire time.

I walk up behind him slowly, and just before he can notice me, I give him a kiss on the cheek.

He jumped, his headphones falling off as he did so.

While Scott was too busy laughing with him, I could only chuckle as I gave him his drink.

His face was redder than usual, actually. Like, a lot redder.

The game on the screen caught my eye as my lips curved into a smile.

"You're playing Prime Empire without me?" I say teasingly.

"Without me either," Scott pipes up from the back.

Jay resists to smile as he gestures at what is going on on the rest of the screen.

My face pales when I see an exploding chatroom paired with myself on the small camera window at the corner of the game.

It's not like I mind them knowing at this point, but not exactly like this.

I give Jay a defeated nod as I sit down on his lap, trying to find the courage to speak.

He looks at the camera and awkwardly smiles.

"So... I have a girlfriend..."

College hasn't even started yet, but I know that it's going to be a wild rollercoaster.

One game, one misunderstanding, and two plans later, I think that I'm ready to ride on it.
