Hello there! This is just a tutorial on how
I would make simple but gucci graphic.
I hope you'll learn a thing or two owo

So first things first, of course,

1. Open a blank canvas

(then proceed to stare at it for 2 hours
until you get motivated to do anything-)

In this case, I chose that one because it looks beautiful.
This will also serve as the base of your graphic so choosing
the right background matters a lot.

When choosing the character, I usually
do it by making sure it somehow matches
the colour scheme of the background so
the character will be able to blend in and
won't look like it's out of place.

And please, don't ever stretch the render
out of proportion just to make it fit I swear-

*I added some shadows and
outer glow here.

The job of the png's as the way I see it
is to keep the main focus to the object, to
give emphasis is another way to put it.
Which in this case is the girl.
It also keep the graphic interesting!

When you place png's, you'll have to take
note of the mood you're trying to go for. Let's
take the graphic above as an example.

I would infer just by looking at it that maybe
this is going to be a sad and somber graphic.
You see the girl doesn't look very happy, the
clocks can have many meanings as well as the
flowers. And the general color scheme of it is
blue which you can relate to sad, right?

Well, you get the point.

You can't put a happy looking png's like
sunflowers and rainbows when you're trying
to make a sad graphic. (I mean you can if you
want if that's the style you're going for.
It really depends on the editor :3)

Now this is where the fun part start.
When you add filters and psd's, it has
three possible outcomes;

It'll be either, deep fried, raw or just right.

If you use mobile, there are apps like VSCO,
Lightroom, and picsart etc. that gives a
varieties of effects.

In photoshop, there are a lot of them in deviantart!
You just gotta dig the right thing owo

Since I wasn't still quite satisfied with it,
I placed a texture and set the blend to linear
light! Erased the parts where it over powers
the characters' face and lowered down the
opacity by half.

We're almost done and you know what
we're missing here. Yes. THE FONTS

7. Add the text

Add the title and subtitle and poof!

||The final outcome||

Sooo yeah! That pretty much sums up what I do to make a cover. I usually just play around with the resources and be surprise with the outcome. It's pretty fun. I hope it help you guys somehow. I'm not really confident in explaining things tho so if there's anything that you didn't understood, just hit me up in the comments and I'll try to elaborate more :>
