The next morning, Y/N wakes up and stretches, getting out of bed and heading downstairs for some breakfast. Only to be greeted by Desti.

Desti: Morning Y/N..

Y/N: Morning Desti, how'd you get here?

Desti: I spent the night here.

Y/N: Oh..

You felt a bit skeptical at first, never once had she ever spent the night here, ever. You brush it off for now and go get some breakfast.

Desti: By the way, Meggy called off sick today.

Y/N: Wait, really?

Desti: Weird, isn't it? She was really looking forward to that training,. but unfortunately she got extremely sick.

Y/N: Wow..o-okay then..I hope she's ok.

Desti: She is.

Y/N: Good.

Desti was about to say something else, but her senses were starting to tingle.

Desti: Excuse me for a moment..

Meanwhile at the scene, Beta saw her body, lifeless.

Beta: *Sigh* I knew she'd do this...yet I didn't stop her..

He carefully picked up her body and carried her to the castle, on his way there, little ms. someone decided to pop in..

Desti: What do you think you're doing Beta?..

Beta: You did this! your own friend! how could you!?

Desti: She got in the way.

Beta: No, you did, and I'm making sure everyone knows about your little secret.

She lets out a psychotic laugh.

Desti: Oh, is that so?

Beta: There's nothing you can do about it..

Desti: Now you're just asking for it..

She draws her ink blaster, Beta sits Meggy down and gets his scythe out. They get into a battle, Desti dashes at him and attempts to kick him away, Beta quickly counters and ducks under her attack, he gets up and grazed her cheek with his blade, Desti felt the blood leaking from her face.

Desti: Big mistake, Beta..

She got up and drew a throwing knife, she threw it at Beta's chest, causing him to collapse.

Desti: And my secret dies with you..

She dragged them both away to wherever she hides out in.

SMG4: Wanna see a new meme?

Y/N: Sure! Let's see it.

Skully: Bring it on.

He showed you and Skully the meme showed on screen.

Y/N: Pffft- what the hell is that?!

SMG4: That my friend is Hotsauce the Cat, he's drunk on tequila.

Skully: I think tequila mixed with catnip, a crap ton of catnip.

You, Skully and SMG4 were about to scroll to another meme, until someone went into the room,

Tari: GUYS!

You both turn around and see Tari, panicked.

Y/N: Tari, what's wrong?!

Tari: Meggy's nowhere to be found! I wanted to visit her in her apartment! She wasn't there! Her door was left open and no one was there!

Saiko, Bob, Boopkins, Toad, Mario and Luigi overheard her and rushed in.

Mario: Wha? Why would she disappear?

Luigi: Maybe she went for a walk?

Saiko: No, that seems to sketchy..

Toad: I'm rarely am here, so I'm a bit new to this.

Boopkins: I'm scared..is she going to be ok?!

Bob: BiTcH iS pRoBaBlY dEaD bY nOw!

Offscreen, he gets thrown into the moat.

Y/N: Wait- but Desti said..Meggy was sick..she lied..

Tari: I know..*sigh* B-but where is she?..

SMG4: I don't know, Desti probably hid her somewhere, does Desti have any known hideouts?

Y/N: I got none.

Tari: No, sorry.

Toad: Nope.

Skully: Maybe Beta knows.

He dialed up Betas number, he immediately got left on voicemail.

Skully: Well, he's not an option apparently.

Y/N: Well, what other hideouts does she have?

?: I think I got one idea.

You all look over to see a familiar green scaly reptile.
