After 6 hours on the airplane, their team finally landed at Catania airport and was picked up by the staff of Sicily's Office that belonged to the Italy branch. The Sicily's Office was located in Palermo, so they were driven right to Palermo to sign some papers for their appearances and confirm their mission with the Chief of Sicily's Office.

Representing the team were Vertin and Sonetto. They took responsibility for information exchange with the Sicily's Chief, while others were waiting outside. In the Chief's room, an important conservation was taking place.

The orange-haired girl told the Chief in detail the mission given to her team by the Foundation. While she was speaking, Vertin noticed that the Chief's finger lightly tapped a few times on the desk, though there was no sound coming from his action.

"...That was all the information about our mission at Palermo."

"I see." He nodded.

"Well, to be honest, I think the case isn't that serious like you said."

The man calmly refuted her previous words. He clasped his hands and put them on the table.

"It's true that there were some small conflicts in Palermo suburbs that had traces of arcane skill, but we have already caught them."

"So why didn't you report immediately to the Foundation?" Sonetto slightly knitted her eyes' brows.

"Easy there, girl." He crossed his legs, "We just arrested them at midnight. Other staff were all tired after following those criminals' trails day and night. They also need to rest."

Something in his voice made Sonetto feel uncomfortable. When she was about to ask him more details about the case, Vertin gently touched her wrist. That signal told her to stop and wait for her companion to talk.

"Can you send us a copy of the report in the afternoon?" Vertin looked right at his eyes, "Though the case was already solved, we still need it to complete our mission."

In contrast to the exposed emotion on Sonetto's expression, her poker face made the Chief feel a bit nervous. He knew her identity as The Timekeeper, the only person who could survive inside the Storm in this world. From his point of view, she was extremely important to the Foundation and it was clearly no good to mess with her.

"Alright. My assistant will send you the copy right after she finishes it." He had an affable smile on his face.

"Thank you for your cooperation." Vertin slightly nodded.

"It's my responsibility. Are there some things else you require?" He asked.

"Our previous task was to investigate the case. But now it was handled, our team plans to stay here in 3 days to travel around this beautiful land."

"Traveling?" The Chief once again lightly tapped the table, "Have you had any destination in your mind yet?"

"Yes, we will visit some famous art and history attractions at Palermo first, then drive to Taormina for Alcantara Valley and the beach, and in the end, come to Castiglione di Sicilia in Catania. I heard that there were vast vineyards and orange chards in Catania."

"After visiting all of the destinations, we will catch the earliest plight to return to the Headquarter."

Hearing her thorough plan, the Chief gradually lowered his guard.

'No professional investigator would make such detailed travel plans, while even knowing nothing about the status of the mission.' He quietly thought.

"Can you provide us a car so that we can travel by ourselves?" Vertin asked.

"Of course." His tone became friendlier than the beginning, " I hope your team can enjoy the trip to the fullest."

When the two left the room, they saw their companions having something in their hands.

"You finally return, my lord."

Tennant greeted them.

"Ms. Sonetto, we bought some food for you two."

Necrologist stood up from her seat and gave them a paper box. There was a sweet smell from the box that made Sonetto and Vertin suddenly feel a bit hungry.

"Thank you." Vertin slightly nodded and received it.

When she opened the bag, she saw two tube-shaped pastries filled with cream, some chocolate chips and fresh fruit cubes at the top of the tube. She also noticed icing sugar's sprinkling on the surface of the pastries.

"What are these?"

Sonetto leaned closer to Vertin to get a better look at the sweets and curiously asked.

"Mr. Pavia told us they were called cannoli, one of the most famous and delicious desserts in Palermo." Necrologist answered.

"It's so delicious!" Sonetto took a bite and sparkles appeared in her eyes.

Vertin's cheeks puffed up like a squirrel as she nodded in agreement with Sonetto's words.

Next, they wandered around Palermo attractions as Vertin told the Chief, until they received the copy of the report as well as the car from the staff.

Who was chosen to drive the car?

Of course, there was no one else but Pavia, and sitting next to him was Tennant. At the back seats, from the left to right was Sonetto, Necrologist, Vertin and Balloon Party.

"It's the first time I have traveled to Sicily." Sonetto said while looking at the landscape through the car window.

"Me too." Necrologist replied.

Sonetto began sharing some knowledge about Sicily that she had read in the library and newspapers before coming here. The way she spoke was very inspiring, so others contemporarily remained silent to listen to her words.

No one noticed that something was odd with their team.

"Can I ask if anyone has seen Mr. Click?"

The first person who realized there was someone missing was Necrologist.

"That taciturn ghost? No idea." Pavia said.

When her gaze changed to Tennant, the woman slightly shook her head.

"I'm sorry that I forgot to pay attention to him." Sonetto said with a repentant look on her face.

"Me neither." Vertin also shook her head.

"I know, I know where he is." Balloon Party raised her hand.

She pointed her finger to the roof of the car and said:

"He is up there. He is sitting above us."

"What a surprising answer." Tennant chuckled.

"How do you know he is sitting on the car's roof?" Sonetto curiously asked.

"It's because he is holding my balloon, as he promised before." Balloon Party cheerfully answered.

On the outside, Click was sitting cross-legged on the top of the car like Balloon Party said. But if we looked closer, we could see that there was still a very small gap between him and the roof of the car. Despite the lightning speed under Pavia's driving, his whole body didn't waver the slightest bit. And tied to his right wrist was a balloon with suspicious red liquid inside.

'I liked the scenery here.'

The ghost photographer peacefully thought.

He raised the camera in his hands for a while, but soon put it down.

'If The Wolf drove slower, it would be better.'

Yes, if anybody had the ability to catch this once-in-a-blue-moon scene with their bare eyes, they would immediately think they were daydreaming.

.........

Driving under the sunshine and the warm breeze, their team reached Taormina in the afternoon. Before Pavia found a place to park the car, they decided to have a walk along the street and met him again at a certain coffee shop.

Click quietly followed the girl group and began taking pictures. He also changed to his other form, which looked exactly like the time when he was still alive.

Among the women in dresses on the crowded street, Tennant stood out the most for her suit and trousers. Her passionate red eyes that peeked out behind the wide-brimmed hat and the mysterious smile with two symmetrical moles on both sides of the lips, had 100% chances of making ladies look back.

Meanwhile, because of her black outfits, Necrologist tended to receive the condolence eyes of people around.

"This town is so colorful." Sonetto earnestly praised.

"A nice place to hold a party." Balloon Party looked at this and then looked at that.

"I have asked some guys and they said there will be an outdoor wedding near the beach tomorrow afternoon."

The man returned from his walk with a bucket of ice cream in his hand.

"Want to know the interesting part?"

"They said that was the wedding between the son of Marino clan and the daughter of the famous Greco clan."

"In my time, the 1990s, the Greco still has a strong influence in Cosa Nostra despite the fall of the mafia."

Pavia put a spoonful of ice cream in his mouth.

"I'm so sorry. Mrs. Marino didn't tell me that she came from a Mafia's family."

Right after he finished his words, Necrologist instantly bowed and apologized sincerely to her teammates.

"Just old man's dementia. My former boss also suffered from it."

"Because of that damn disease, he went straight to hell while recalling nothing about his stupid deeds."

Pavia slightly curled his lip and said with a bit of disappointment that could be easily heard in his voice.

Next, he took another spoonful of ice cream and popped it into his mouth.

"Mhmm, that's my favorite flavor..."

"It looked tasty. Where did you get it?"

Balloon Party moved around Pavia with a curious look on the bucket of gelato in his hands.

"Down the street, turn left. There's a gelato shop near a flower shop."

Maybe he was having his favorite sweet, so his way of talking was less fierce than usual.

The sun soon set. The team found a house that was currently for rent following Pavia's lead. Coincidentally, that house had seven rooms, enough for seven of them.

Was that really a coincidence?

Tennant had an entertaining look on Pavia.

At the only round table in the living room, they sat down on the chairs and listened to the instruction's lesson which Tennant was about to give.

"Here's some behavior that you should have at the wedding."

Tennant spoke in a professional tone.

"Firstly, remember that you shouldn't wear white when attending an Italian wedding."

"Secondly, if you don't know what to do during the ceremony, just look at the oldest lady and follow her actions."

"Thirdly, choose your most fashionable or outstanding outfit."

"And that's all for the wedding's instructions."

She took a sip of grape juice from the glass.

"OK, I have remembered all of them."

Other members nodded, while Pavia didn't pay much attention to her talk. He was playing with his wolves and fed them with the fresh meat he had bought somewhere.

"Good night, everyone." Vertin said.

Afterwards, some returned to their rooms, some still stayed in the living room.

And outside their rented house, something was secretly going on at some dark corners of the streets.

Inside the darkness, five pairs of red animal eyes gleamed and stared at the same man. He caressed their heads intimately and looked at the moon.

"The moon is about to be full."

Somewhere else, the ghost was floating over the rooftops and silently raising his camera. The red balloon on his wrist was still there and it was like two peas in the same pot with those balloons in various children's hands on the streets.

A sleepless night to many people.

Next morning, Sonetto came out from her room and saw half of her team was gathered in the living room. Those were Click, Necrologist and Vertin. They were talking about something together.

At the same time, the main door was opened from outside. Pavia brought 2 big paper bags which had a sweet scent emitting into the room.

"Here's your breakfast, Boss."

He gave one bag to the girl in black outfit and sat down on the table.

"I'm sorry but, are you calling me Boss?"

Necrologist felt a bit weird about the way he called her.

"Who else could I call Boss here?"

Pavia looked at her with a puzzled look on his face.

"You hired me so you are the Boss."

Others, now all appeared in the living room, also nodded in agreement.

Seeing that, Necrologist turned her sight to the glass cage in her hands. She thought her cheek right now may be as red as a tomato.

Therefore, the formation attending the wedding of their team had Necrologist at the center, in front of her were Pavia and Tennant, behind her were Vertin and Balloon Party, at the end of the team was Click and Sonetto.

If anyone looked at their unusual team, they would instantly point out Necrologist as the heart of the team, or we could call, the Boss.

Thanks to Tennant' instructions and Pavia's lead, they easily entered the wedding as guests from the bride's side. Their clothings changed to suits and dresses, except for Click who just lowered his existence. Tennant still wore suit and trousers but in red and black, Pavia just put on the jacket outside his shirt, Vertin changed to black suit and shorts with high boots, Sonetto had a gorgeous black waist hugging dress, Balloon Party chose a dark blue short dress and Necrologist put on a black fishtail dress with a cocktail hat which had a short veil covering her eyes. She still kept the small glass cage in her hands.

The wedding went very smoothly, until the vows ceremony began.

Who fired the first shot into the priest's head?

No one knew and no one cared.

Because now everything became a mess and the people there were busy screaming and finding a place to hide.

"Great, wedding and funeral at the same time."

The man swung the lollipop on his hands and grinned.
