"Would it have been better if I had died too?" It was a thought she had ponder before.

A past that was so dark, anger rushes into to her very core. For an incident she couldn't bear, she felt alone and broken at such a young age. She remembered it like it was yesterday.

Crying as she watch her house shattered with no trace of life in it. She had wanted to double check whether it was a dream or not. The truth being cruel as always, shown the fact that everyone she knew was gone. She had nowhere to go, no one to share her worries, she felt lost.

Struggling from letting her tears fall down, big footsteps caught her attention. Turning around with a messy face, she met her guardian and teacher.

"Young one, how long will you stain such beauty you possess?" He ask.

Doing her best, she tries to wipe her tears with her sleeves. "W-who are you mister?"

"Me? Well I'm just a passerby walking by" he smiled. "Do you need some help?"

Like a crack, a hint of light shine within her view. It was small yet strong. Unable to resist, her tears fall down not due to sadness but relief. She then nod, earning a gentle smile from him.

Slowly, he gives his hand for the young girl to reach, which she gladly take. The last she remembered that day was her adoptive father hold her hand tight, reassuring he wouldn't let go.

Back to the present, at the top of a building, she observes her surrounding.

"Huh? It's been awhile" she muttered.

The wind breeze through her, letting her hoodie off of her, her hair joining.

"Well then, let's go find that monster" she said.
