What is love? Possibly the most two faced emotion or feeling attainable by human beings. Love can lead to hate. Yet, love is something beautiful. Love is an amazing, yet awful feeling in all senses. Whether it be friends, family, or intimate relationships, the feeling of commitment and willingness to be there for someone in and and good. To essentially give everything you have, and the possibility of not getting it back. Opening yourself up to heartbreak, pain, and suffering.
           Yet, I admire it. To love someone is to see all their quirks, problems, the worst side of them and still stick by them. Love can't be summed up to the cute sweet moments, or even romantic ones. Love is understanding someone on another level, with complete and utter acceptance. Love is so much more than anything that I can write, and is probably the most frightening of emotions, because love is blinding. The only scarier than love is apathy.
        Apathy is the true opposite of love, hate is simply a negative side effect. Hate can be also be side effect of loss of trust. Apathy leads to numbness, not caring. Apathy can be destructive, as you feel nothing towards that person and care nothing for them. But which is worse, to feeling everything or to feel nothing for someone? I don't know.
