Alex's pov

I heard the front door open as i ran down the stairs as fast as i could i saw my parents and for the first time in months i felt happy to see them well mostly my dad "dad" i whispered as i hugged him he looked a bit taken off since i dont hug them that often my mom narrowed her eyes to me as her eyed widen a bit but she shrugged it off as she left to the kitchen "hey kiddo everything good?" dad asked me as i released him "yeahh i was just scared by a movie thats all" i lied i really wasnt gong to tell them that my friend wanted something else also and that i read some of Andy's thoughts now i feel so stupid by invading his personal space but he just held onto that notebook since i almost met him and it was just killing me to know what was inside it .

I ate my food slowly as my parents noticed this "Alex did you do your homework?" my mother asked in an irritated tone "yeah i did" i lied i have more important things in life to do then to do stupid homework "are you sure cause your off" "yes im fine" i mumbled "Alex speak correctly you know i hate it when you mumble" i gritted my teeth as i clenched my fists onto the fork "SHUT UP!! you never understand me mom you always put these rules on me and you really think ill follow them besides you have no idea why im like this!!" i yelled as she stood up as my dad didnt say anything

"go to your room!!" she yelled as she raised her hand and she slap my cheek as my eyes widen at the sudden action she gasped as she covered her mouth but she was clearly angry "fuck you mom!!" i yelled as i started crying as my eyes were hidden by my bangs i glanced up and she was ready to hit me again i was ready for the impact but it never came i slowly opened my eyes and my dad held my mothers hand "dont do this!"

i didnt say anything i just stormed off the house as i heard my dad yelling for me i fastened my pace as the wind blew on my face it was pretty cold but i really didnt care the inly sound that i could hear right now was the sound of my shoes as they hit the pavement i went to wear Andy and I hid which was behind a bunch of bushes almost leading to the forest i sat down on the ground as i hid my face with my hands.

Im so stupid that im crying over this "Alex?" i recognized that voice as i sniffed and quickly wipe away my tears "A-Andy? what are you doing here?" i saw as he approached and sat down next to me "i came to see you? i heard everything and i saw you running" he spoke in a low voice worried i watched as he bit on his lip piercing probably worried if i was going to say something mean to him "im sorry" he whispered as he held me tight as i hid my head on his chest "its o-okay Andy im fine as long as im with you" i heard him chuckle as we didnt say anything for a couple of minutes.

We began walking to our houses as Andy stood a few feets away from mines "i hope you guys talk then" Andy smiled i nodded "yeah well thank you Andy for being there for me" "ill always be with you Alex" he smiled at me as at made me blush i watched him leave to his house as i said goodbye to him i turned around and faced the door as my dad looked at me as he smiled seeing me "oh Alex" he ran to me and hugged me "i thought i lost you,im so sorry for what your mom did" i hugged him back as i heard him sniff as i glanced up to see him as he wiped him eyes this isnt right i mean yes my dad loves me and all but ive never heard him say that its like if had once another kid i just nodded at him he grabbed my hand as we walked inside the house luckily my mom wasnt here

"go and take a rest Alex" i hugged him one last time "thank you daddy" i looked at him one last time as i headed up the stairs and went to my room.

I got inside as i just looked at my room filled with super heroes posters i turned off my light as i all i wanted to do was sleep.

*****Morning******

"You gotta be kidding me dad you cant go?!" i whispered the last part as i sat with him in the living room as we ate breakfast my mom wasnt around since she left to 'work' it was about 5 am and dad just told me that he has to leave the country for a month what will i do without him i began to get sad.

"Alex we'll have more money and im sure you'll do your best to be without me" he smiled as he drank his juice and read the newspaper i sighed as i looked down at the remaining of my food i dont think ill be able to handle mom herself since dad is always here to protect me from her and stop her from making dumb things as always.

"Dad im not that good can i skip school today" i asked as i tried to fake as i was about to puke "okay but only today cause you have great grades remember have plenty of sleep cause tomorrow im leaving" i gave him a warm smile as i hugged my stomach i tried to eat the rest of my food soon it was 6 and dad was ready to leave for his job right now he was working at a business place and when he had time he goes to the funeral home since hes the owner i watched him leave and now i was alone again i walked to the kitchen and something caught my eyes.

I saw a piece of paper on the floor by the glass window i knelt and grabbed it and it just said Meet Me At Our Spot At 8 clearly i know from who it is "why would Andy say to meet him maybe something important i washed the dishes and did some laundry all i had in my head right now was Andy.
