12:30 am.

justin let out a small laugh, his hand around the coffee cup as he sat across from alex. "you're just that same damn kid that comes in here everyday and gets the same damn thing!"

"shut up," justin chuckled, lowering his voice, "he's gonna hear you." alex rolled his eyes, a smirk over his lips. "shut up," he mimicked in a deep voice. "he's gonna hear you."

"you're an ass," justin mumbled, his lips falling to a content smile. "i know," alex sighed, dropping his pencil to the table and nodding his head. "i specialize in sarcasm." justin shrugged, looking up. "it's kind of funny, really," he chuckled softly, "you're the only person i've talked to and you're already making today less shitty."

"another compliment, i see," alex grinned, "you're getting better at this small talk thing." justin raised an eyebrow, "am i really? i still don't really know what to say. i'm kind of just blabbering." alex sighed, leaning back in the chair. "i like you. you're not a dickface like most people here. and your blabbering is just fine."

justin opened his mouth to speak, but alex continued.

"so you've been here two years? coming here everyday?" justin nodded quickly, "yeah. actually, i'm so used to this coffee, i don't drink it from anywhere else." alex gave a small look of disgust, "you drink the same coffee everyday?" "i don't like change." "yeah," alex continued, "i heard that. but why?"

justin looked down, bouncing his knee up and down under the table. "it's nothing. i'm just like that, i guess." alex kept quiet at first, but eventually leaned forward on the table, catching justins attention again.

"i'm gonna get you to try new things. just fucking wait."
