day 8

6:37 pm

alex exhaled a heavy groan as he plopped down onto his friends bed, throwing his book bag to the ground. justin turned in his computer chair, raising an eyebrow at the boy. "so?" he questioned, "how'd it go?"

alex looked up, giving him a wide smile. "we fucking aced it," he said, quickly sitting up. "not only are you a genius, but you're a fucking life saver." justin chuckled, nodding his head as he kicked his feet up onto the edge of the bed. "you're welcome, standall."

"well what about you?" alex pulled a water bottle out of his bag as he spoke, "your essay. how is it coming along?" justin sighed, letting his head fall back against the chair. "horrible," he muttered. "i have absolutely no inspiration. i can't keep my focus," he looked back up to see alex still watching him. "i'm almost finished but i'm not really proud of it."

alex smirked, setting the water down on the bed next to his leg. "why're you so distracted?" he questioned, crinkling his nose as he blinked to keep himself awake. "i don't know," justin started.

"maybe you should stop jacking off to gay porn and think about how disappointed your parents would be if you failed," alex snickered and justins face fell completely red. "what the hell are you on about? gay—what? alex, that's not funny—"

"calm... down," alex let out another chipper laugh. "it was a joke. jesus, are you sick or something? you've been acting all funky the past few days." i want to suck your dick. "i'm just really tired, i guess. overwhelmed with the work. stressed?" alex kept his focus on justin, his eyebrows slightly bunching together. after a few moments of silence, he spoke: "are you sure? you know you can only use the same excuse for so long before it becomes totally obvious that you're hiding something."

justin quickly shook his head, chewing down on his bottom lip. he twiddled his thumbs, shrugging his shoulders. "fine. maybe i'm homesick, i don't know. but i'm okay, really."

alex grinned, pushing himself off of the bed. "shut the laptop down and get your ass up. we're going out." justin rose an eyebrow at his overly excited friend. "why? and where?" with a huff, alex reached down and grabbed his arm, pulling him out of the chair. "to get some food, first of all, because i'm fucking starving. but i also want to show you something."

"show me something?" justin pulled his arm back as he grabbed his jacket, pulling it over his torn up grey t-shirt. "let me guess, you have some super secret hiding place for when you get stressed and you're taking me there?"

alex frowned, turning to him as he reached the door. "well damn," he mumbled, "when you say it like that it does sound cliché."
