I was one year old now. I was ready to train. My jockey was named Gwen and she was mounted up on me. As we headed towards the shoot I saw the horse again. I stopped and looked at her and she looked at me. Gwen erged me forward.

I was in the shoot when the bell went to quickly. My father was next to me. He was trying to get me to run fast.

RING!
I was in second and trying to keep up. The mysterious horse was in front of me and I slowed down and came to a stop. Gwen was confused why I stopped and so was Fred. The horse vanished and I looked around looking for her.

Fred came and said that I needed a break and we should try again tomorrow. Gwen got off and led me to the wash area. She asked me why I stopped and why I didn't keep going. She put me back and gave me some candy. They where called pemerments. They where good. Then I saw Gwen taking out my mother todo a practice run.

I was lead out by Gwen and saddled up. Revolution was already and was in the shoot. When I was loaded in he told me a little about what happened about Revolution star.

RING!

Revolution to the lead. I kept my pace and when the second to final turn came around I made my move. I took the lead by ten lengths. I still got that fire within me still. Revolution was surprised that I still had in me to.

When Gwen got of I nudged her. She giggled and gave me and hug and kisses. I was happy she was still around. After the bath she gave me some of my favorite candies. As I was led back to the stall I saw star unhappy. He was in his corner eating without talking. He knew what he did wrong today.

"Why couldn't I just ran past her. I could have beat my father at his own game. I didn't know why I didn't do it. Why did I stop." Words rambled through my head all day wondering why I slowed down.

That night a different dream came. It was her. I ran to her and I asked what her name was. She said it was "Midnight glow". My eyes got wide and she disappears. The next morning was a shock to me.
