I look up and I see other horses. I see bays, dapples, and many more. I see the mare again. This time in front of me and she looks towards the barn. She walks inside and vanishes.

As I was getting saddled up Gwen and Fred talked about the strategy to win. Soon the announcer let out the saying that jockeys need to be on their horses.

Led away by Gwen to the gate I saw the mare again. But this time she was out in the middle of the track. I watched and watched as the bell let lose. I dashed out of the gate at the sound of the ringer. As horses pass me I keep an eye for that strange mare.

We came around the first turn. I passed a couple horses but not much. Then right dead in front of me is the mare. All the other horses pass me as I come to a hault and reared up. Gwen fell off me and I came down confused and looking around.

"Who are you?" I question
"I have come here to take you some where a far away land needs you" She says
"What land, what place, and especially who are you?!" I ask
"I'll come for you tonight, be ready" As she says as she disappears from the track.

As Gwen gets up and Fred comes out to the track I see that they look mad. I lower my ears and put my head down. Fred grabs my reins as he was frustrated and walks back to the barn. I was untracked and put back in my stall with hay, but no grain. I watched and listened as Fred and Gwen talk about what they are going to do with me now and they also talked about why I pulled this little stunt.

"What was that today?" My mother asked
"I don't know ok. I saw a strange mare out on the track and she talked to me and I didn't get to finish the race. I'm sorry mother" I say
"That's no excuse why you threw Gwen off and you making friend angry with you now" She spats
"Look I'm sorry mother for not finishing the race and making everyone mad at me" I say
"Your luck that your father didn't see you today" She says
"What ever mother. I'm just going to go back to bed" I say

Later that night, around midnight, I was woken up by a thud and I looked up and it was the mare.
