Right, I've decided to quit blowing hot and cold about this. I'm quitting rping to focus on studying and writing. So my OC's deserve a thoughtfully put together exit. Grab your tissues.

Flowers neatly arranged. Upon closer inspection, bluebells lay in a formation that spelt out a name.

Hailee's grandad, Ben, broke down in tears near in his seat.

Hailee's grandparents weren't very religious but Ben thought it would be right to have her funeral in the Church.

They weren't a rich family though, so thankfully, with the help of Hailee's friends, they raised enough money to send her off in a beautiful way.

Clem pulled Ben into a hug, crying on his shoulder just as he cried on hers.

Hailee just sat there, no tears staining her face, no fresh tears. She just looked at the coffin, emotionless.

On the other side was where Hailee's friends sat. She begged them not to come but they refused to listen.

Antonia walked over to Hailee and put a hand on her shoulder. "Hailee? It's ok to cry", she whispered in a comforting manner.

Hailee gently shook her head, remaining emotionless. "No it's not. I can't stop once I've started. I need to be the strong one", she said, all the emotion she didn't show in her face was laced in the words she spoke.

Antonia frowned but knew there was no way of getting through to Hailee. She gave her a hug and whispered in her ear. "Sometimes the strongest thing to do is the thing you think makes you weak"

She got up and walked back to the other side, sitting next to Carter again.

"How's she doing?", Carter whispered.

Antonia shook her head. "Not good"

Harrison was sat behind them, next to Jackson. "Mate I know she was old but I always thought she was immortal. Like some superhero that couldn't die"

Jackson nodded, wiping away a few years. "Same here, dude. Same here", he sighed. "I kind of hoped she'd burst through the door with her heavenly cookies and give us all hugs"

This made Apollo, who was sat with Garett, burst into tears. It wasn't too loud but the people on his side could hear him. Nina, who was behind him, reached over and gave him a hug. "It's alright... cry it all out"

Jasper was sitting next to Nina and noticed a tear roll down Garett's face. His hand reached over and held hers, giving it a small squeeze. "Tears are ok, remember?"

She gave him a small nod and gently squeezed his hand. "Tears are ok", she said to herself, before letting more fall.

"Come on guys, we're meant to be showing a strong front, for Hailee", said Carter, though the redness of her eyes showed she was desperate to cry.

"Hey, showing a strong front doesn't mean we can't cry", said Jackson, touching her shoulder.

She gave a little smile of appreciation and rested her head against his hand.

Antonia's arm was wrapped around Carter's left one. She wiped away some of her tears.

"Now, would anyone like to say any last words?", asked the man.
He was a friend of Ben's who served in the Army with him and Mia and Ben were his best friends.

Ben nodded and slowly stood up, looking over to Hailee for some support.

Hailee gave him a warm smile but couldn't find the right words.

He walked over to her coffin and gave it a small kiss.

"Mia, my beautiful wife. Ever since I saw you in school I knew you were the one. It wasn't your beautiful, flowing brown hair that attracted me. Or your sweet smelling scent. It was your smile. The smile that still has the ability to light up my world. YOU light up my world, Mia", she said, the emotion raw in his voice.

"Do you remember how you'd always have a go at me for turning the bedroom light off when you were reading?", he said with a little chuckle. "Well, my love, I have to turn the light off now. I'm sorry. You can shout at me all you like, in fact, I welcome it and you know I do. But... the light needs to go now so... sweet dreams. Let's dream together. We'll meet each other in the Land of Happiness", she said, giving her a final kiss on the forehead. "Rest well, Mia", he said, giving her a small soldier's salute, something Mia used to find cute.

There wasn't a dry eye in the Church. By this time, Hailee couldn't contain her emotions any longer and broke down. Clem was there for her though, letting her cry whilst hugging her.

Hailee pulled away when her grandad came to sit down. "Clem, you say something"

Clem nodded and slowly got up.

When Hailee saw her grandad, tears flowing down his face, she wiped away her own tears and carried on trying to be strong. She gave him a hug, kissing his cheek.

Clem's fingers traced the outline of the coffin and she looked at her grandmother. "I'll bring you flowers... in the pouring rain. Living without you is driving me insane. I'll bring you flowers, I'll make your day. Those tears you cry I will dry them all away...away", she sang sweetly, dangerously close to crying.

That was the song her grandma would sing to her. Even though she didn't make it, it was still special.

Hailee could feel the tears again and fiercely wiped them away as they fell.

"I love you Gran. I want this to all be a dream. I know it's not though and... that's not fair. I promise to make you proud, every day I get on this Earth. Sleep tight, Gran", she said, kissing her cheek.

Clem walked back and looked at Hailee. Hailee just looked down, not ready.

The others saw and Carter stood up. "May we say I few words?"

Hailee, her grandad and Clem looked at them. Ben nodded.

Carter thanked them and stood up.
"Family is really important to me. From the day I first met you and Mr. Edenshaw, you always made me feel welcome. You're our Gran too", she said, gesturing to the others. "Good night, Gran", she said, kissing her cheek.

Antonia stood up and went to the coffin once Carter sat down. "Remember when I taught you some Spanish? You wouldn't stop saying it for 2 weeks straight", she said with a laugh. "Well here's some more now. Te amo abuela", she said with a smile. "Hope you have some good beauty sleep, not that you've ever needed it", she said, kissing her forehead.

Then it was Jackson and Harrison's turn. "We're not too good at Goodbyes", said Harrison, earning a nod from Jackson.
"We didn't ever want to say bye to you. We both wished it wasn't true...when we heard the news", said Jackson.
"We promise... we promise to...", said Harrison, his voice breaking with sadness.
Jackson put an arm around him and gave him an encouraging smile. "We promise to keep you in our hearts forever", said Jackson, helping him out. They both kissed her cheek.

By this time, Clem and Ben were completely broken. The fact that Mia meant so much to them reduced them to tears.

Hailee still continued to fight back the tears though. It proved to be quite hard.

Garett and Jasper stood by her coffin.
"Granny, I know it's usually Garett who helps me out in tests but if it wasn't for you... I would've failed Maths. I know it doesn't seem like much but you were the only other adult who believed in me. I'll always love you for that", said Jasper. He gave her a kiss on the forehead and stood by, waiting for Garett.

"You shone so bright when you were alive and you'll continue to shine brightly even when you're not. Your legacy will always live on...in all of us. The kindness and compassion you showed to everyone... will always stay with us. I love you, Gran", said Garett, kissing her forehead.

Nina made her way to the coffin once Garett and Jasper sat down. "I remember when you taught me how to bake red velvet cupcakes using your secret recipe. I couldn't wait to get home from school just so I could go over to Hailee's to bake with you. And then how Grandad would try to steal the cakes", she said, laughing a little. "You both had a love that was true and I hope that one day..  I'll be just like you", she said. She kissed her cheek and walked back.

Apollo was the last one to speak. He was in tears but still got up to speak. He couldn't say much because of how emotional it was for him but what he did say made an impact. "I hope the angels in heaven like your cookies as much as we do", he said, tearfully. "No angel can love YOU the way we do though. I don't know if they have a Bingo in heaven but we'll play it over here... just for you"

This was the last straw for Hailee. Everyone's kind words caused her to break down. She couldn't breath and she felt like the walls were going to crush her.

"H-Hailee, breath", said Clem, panicked.

She couldn't stop and everyone ran to her, trying to calm her.

"M-My Gran...", was all she could say.

Her world came crashing down and she couldn't do anything to stop it.

"T-Try speaking to her...", said Clem, rubbing her back.

Hailee nodded and although she was shaking, she made her way near the coffin. "H-Hello Gran...it's me, Hailee. Don't be upset, I know it's scary. You and Benny Jr. can play together now. You mean so much to me. Everything I am and everything I ever will be is because of you and grandad. Heaven's gained one more angel now. I'll always remember what you told me. 'Being successful at something you hate is the same as being a failure. Do what you love while you can because no one knows when their time is up'. I'll live my life for you, Gran. I love you more than you'll ever know", she said and kissed both her cheeks and then her forehead.

They all hugged, standing near the coffin.

After the funeral, they all walked outside and looked up at the sky.

Suddenly, blue and purple fireworks lit up the sky, spelling 'Sleep well, Gran'.

They all stared in awe and looked around to see who it might be.

Hailee saw someone and smiled when she saw them. "Thomas!"

They all looked over at the person and smiled when they saw him. He ran over and wiped away his tears. He hugged Hailee and her grandad. He managed to pull Clem into a hug too.

                            - - -

It was quite late so everyone had made their way home. Thomas had to go but promised to keep in touch.

A few weeks ago, thanks to Apollo, Hailee passed her driver's test and has her licence. She got into the driver's seat with Clem in the passenger's seat and her grandad in the back.

"Everyone buckled up?", she asked, always cautious.

They nodded and Hailee started driving.

Clem started touching her chest and groaning a little.

"Clem? What's wrong?", asked her grandad, worried.

"I-I don't know. My chest hurts a lot", she groaned.

"How long has it been like that?", asked Hailee, momentarily looking over at her with a frown.

"A few day- Hailee watch out!", screamed Clem, pointing to the door.

Hailee screamed as she saw a van approaching them. She tried to move the car out of its way but wasn't fast enough. The van collided with Hailee's car.

No movement. None of them moved at all.

Hailee's grandad moved his arm slightly. He lifted his head up and yelled out in pain as he looked at the blood on his arm. "M-My girls!", he cried as he saw Clem and Hailee.

Someone came to help and called the Paramedics.

They put Ben in the Ambulance and went into the car to get Hailee and Clem. Clem's head was rested against Hailee's shoulder and Hailee's head was rested against Clem's.  Clem had a large cut on her cheek and Hailee's cut was on her head.

The Paramedics checked their pulses.

The woman who checked it frowned and sighed to her colleague, shaking her head.

"No pulse for either of them"
