Hailee ran home and packed her bags, knowing that her grandparents would be at the Garden Centre.

She left them a note.

Grandad, Grandma, thankyou so much for everything you've done for me. You took me in when mum and dad didn't want me and I see you as my parents, not them. You always told me to fight for what I want and never back down. You also told me to let loose more and enjoy the small beauties of life. My small beauties are the wonderful friends I'm leaving behind. I'm going to start the next part of my life... alone. This is scary for me, I've always been used to you both. I need you more than you've ever needed me. Take care Grandad, Grandma you know you'll always have my permission to give him a light punch on the shoulder when he tries to stay up watching TV, not that you've ever needed my permission. Stay strong for the both of us Grandma. I hope I'm making you, Grandad and Benny Jr. proud.

Lots and lots of hugs and love, your baby, Hailee. X

Hailee wiped away a tear drop that fell onto the page. She gave it a small kiss and placed it on the table. She kissed the photo of Benny Jr. 'Look after them for me', she whispered.

She grabbed her things and walked out of the door, fumbling with the keys as she locked the door and wiped her eyes.

The rain was pouring heavily as Hailee ran to her bus stop.

               *3 HOURS LATER*

The Group were over at Antonia's house, watching movies.

"Where did you say Hailee was again?", Nina asked Garett.

Garett swallowed her popcorn, her throat feeling dry. "U-Uh... she's gone to the Bingo with her grandad", she lied, remembering that that was what she told the others before.

"Didn't have Hailee down as the Bingo kind of girl", said Jackson, curious.

"Well you know Hailee, loves spending time with her grandparents", she lied quickly, adding a laugh at the end.

The news turned on and the name they heard caused everyone to turn to the screen.

"A young girl, believed to be in her late teens was found unconscious by a small shop after a piece of the building, which had been undergoing repair, had fallen off onto the girl, who has since been named as Hailee Valley. Calls for health and safety have been made to insure that this never happens again. A witness has said that because of the size of the object, there isn't a very high chance that she will survive. We'll update more frequently as we get more information. This is the 6 O' Clock news with myself, Anna George"

(I didn't put the other OC's reacting because I feel like they'd all have different reactions and I don't want to get them wrong)
