NORTH X READER
(Part 2 to North (1) but you don't have to read that one to understand this one)

You lifted up Theta, spinning him around. He cheered, and you smiled when you saw how happy he was today. After all, it was his birthday. He's supposed to be the happiest kid on Earth.
You set him down, then kissed him on the forehead. "How was your day at school, kiddo?" You asked, sliding your hand around his tiny one.
"It was fun! I drew a picture!" He told you, holding up a piece of paper.
You looked down at the colorful drawing, seeing that he drew a puppy.
"I don't think they make purple puppies." You laughed, and he grinned.
"I know, but I like the color purple." Theta told you, and climbed into the backseat of your family car.
You drove back home, hoping that North had gotten everything ready for Theta's surprise party.
Once you got home, you helped him out of the car, and he ran up to the door. You followed him and unlocked it, then threw open the door.
"Happy birthday, Theta!" You heard all your friends shout out, and there was a large explosion.
"Please don't tell me that you actually let Sarge make a miniature party cannon." You crossed your arms at North when he cane to greet you, while Theta ran off to say hi to his friends.
"Uh... maybe?" He laughed nervously, then kissed you on the cheek. "I've got a few more surprises today, too." He told you, and covered your eyes.
"Okay, York, Wash! Bring it out!" He called.
You heard barking, then Theta was screaming. You pulled North's hands away from your face and your jaw dropped.
Theta was being licked by a big purple puppy.
"It better be potty trained." You scowled. You had told North that you were going to get him a dog for his next birthday.
"I know, I know. This little guy was free to a good home, and we just happened to find purple hair dye on sale... I thought it would be a fun surprise." He explained.
You sighed, rubbing your temples. When you saw how excited Theta was, your headache seemed to disappear. You smiled softly, watching as Delta, Omega, Sigma and Gamma all surrounded Theta and the puppy.
"Well... I guess it's not the end of the world." You decided.
South, Theta's aunt, picked up him and the dog. "Let's go, kids! We've got fireworks in the backyard!" She announced, and they all went running.
You sat outside with North, watching as the children were amazed by the fiery explosions and sparklers.
You turned your head towards North, seeing how content he looked. Even though you both have been through a lot in the past few years, you were still managing to be happy together.
He saw that you were staring, and raised an eyebrow. "What?" He asked, probably thinkint that he had something on his face.
You wiped away a small tear that had leaked from your eye, and he suddenly looked worried.
"Nothing. Come here, you big cutie." You said, and kissed him sweetly, taking the time to wrap your arms around his shoulders. "I'm just so happy." You said, resting your head on his shoulder.
He chuckled and wrapped his free arm around you.
"Me too." He said, as you watched the final fireworks burst in the afternoon sky.
