Before we got too close, I stopped behind a tree to check my phone. Ricky hasn't texted me back in awhile. Fucker. I'm not actual pissed at him, just wife pissed. That's the best way I can explain it. I don't really care if you're some hotshot secret agent of the FBI. I'm your wife. Your angry psychotic murderous wife. You answer me when I text you.

Vinny text me that he was going to get here around three AM. He was helping Ryan with something before I left but I didn't have the time to ask what. I was too focused on getting everything set up here on time. At least he answers me freaking texts. Oh, I can't wait until I get to hear Ricky's excuse for ignoring me all day.

I checked the security feed real quick. Chris glanced down at me from where he was leaned against the side of the tree, "We get really good reception here for it being an island in the middle of nowhere."

"Yet when I'm in major cities I get shit connection. Go figure." I muttered, "The others are setting up for the night in the warehouse."

"I'm surprised no one tried to make it in one night." He replied.

"I'm not." I stood back up, slipping my phone in my pocket, "There is intelligence on both sides. They figure it would be smart to get rest and to wait 'till morning, so they can see where they're going. They don't realize they're being hunted."

"Let's go educate them." He grinned and began to walk.

As I followed, I told him, "And for fuck's sake, I hope you kill Heather because I'm sick of hearing her praying every time I look at the security feed."

Chris snit, "How do you think it felt to live with her?"

"True, but it's your fault you didn't kill her."

"There were plenty of times I got close, but Angelo and I were already back together at this point. Every time I got really pissed, where I was about to break her neck, he'd come to mind. I didn't want to risk getting caught. Doesn't matter now, I guess." He muttered.

Yeah, I guess. It all turned out fine in the end. He got his happy ever after with Angelo and he gets his revenge. Chris never meant to hurt Ange. The only reason they went down together was because of Heather. She was so jealous of what they had together that she turned them both in. True, Ange was harboring a criminal, but the feds would've never known that he was aware of what he was doing if it weren't for her.

We're a wolf pack. You fuck with one of us, you fuck with all of us. There's a few in the group that we'd always defend a little more viciously though. Vinny and Reese are the youngest. They're like our cubs, in a way. Angelo, though, he has the heart of a saint. An evil saint, but still a saint. No one hurts him without feeling out wrath. I do believe I get a little more of that extra protection that Angelo does. Just because I'm the most feminine and they defend me like they would a woman. Trust me, I don't need it.

We knew what part of the factory they were in. I knew the layout the best. Once we were inside, I led Chris down a long, dark hallway. On the way, I grabbed the fire axe off of the wall. Aside from the killing purposes, we'd need it to get into the room they were in. The door we came to had been barricaded.

Surprisingly, that was Vanessa's doing. She's street smart, like Kuza and I are. I can see the fight in her too. If I could put my money on any one of them to actually make it out, it would be her. Everyone has a time to die though. We're about to find out who's clock is up. I held the axe by the blade's base and offered it to Chris. We didn't want to speak with our mouths. They would hear us. We spoke with our eyes and our attentions.

He raised that axe up high and brought it down on the glass window of the door. A scream shrieked out of the room, followed by Vanessa and Rayne yelling at Heather to shut the fuck up. Chris continued to hit on the door with the axe as I stood back. He glanced over at me and I gave a nod. Then he kicked in the door, causing it to break open.

"Honey!" He called out into the room, "I'm finally home."

Wait to be a stereotypical serial killer, Chris. Murders are no fun without the one liners, to be honest. I went back the hall we came down and took a different path. There were several entrances into the main floor of the factory. They didn't really realize it. I went up to the second level. Okay, there was going to be a little acrobatics involved, but the point was I could get in without them knowing.

I walked out on a high beam that extended over the bottom floor. Chris gave them the option to scatter and hide. None of them bothered to head out the doors. They were all boarded up except the one that Chris broke down. Unless they could get to that door, they pretty much trapped themselves.

After doing some looking around, I found Heather hiding behind a control panel. Vanessa's dark skin and Rayne's gothic clothing helped them to blend into the shadows well. Heather's natural red hair and preppy way of dressing stood out plenty. I slowly stood back up on the beam and walked across to a catwalk. At the end of it, there was a master control panel. The power was on. I used a little light from my phone to see the labels.

Ah, here we go. I turned on the conveyor belt and a few other machines. The noises of it starting up shocked Heather enough to make her squeak. It was enough for Chris to find her. He started to walk over in her direction and the bitch was stupid enough to stay still. Stupid cunt, he knows exactly where you are now. At least try to run. For fuck's sake.

"I warned you." He ominously spoke, "I told you, if you didn't knock off that fucking attitude of yours, I would kill you. I should've killed you when I had the chance. I won't miss this time. I promise."

She finally got up and tried to run for the exit. Way too late. He was right next to her at that point. Chris put the handle of the axe around her neck to catch her. It knocked the wind out of her but she still managed to find the air to plead, "Please! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! Please don't kill me!"

He yanked the handle back against her throat hard, hitting her trachea and no doubt damaging it. "Why?! Why can't you ever fucking learn to shut the fuck up?! For two goddamn seconds?!" He angrily yelled through gritted teeth, "I'm not going to kill you yet. There's someone you owe an apology to."

Chris threw the axe to the ground. He hoisted her over his shoulder. She kicked and screamed, beginning the others to try to help her. Tough luck. They weren't that stupid. In fact, I think they wanted to get rid of her. He waltz out of the building, presumably heading back to wherever Angelo currently was. They both equally deserved to watch her die.

I turned off the equipment. The girls assumed it was safe and came back out. They were shaken, asking each other if the other one was okay. I wouldn't call them friends but they definitely get along fine. If you're in a deadly situation, I'm sure you'd learn to get along with your fellow survivors.

Walking across the cross beams, I hopped over to a latter on one of the support columns. After taking a few steps down, I jumped down on the higher conveyer belt, then swung under it to the lower one. Rayne started at me with utter spite. Comfort and calmness remained on my own face as I knelt down to look at them. They were still several feet below me on the ground.

"This is your doing, isn't it? Mike could never let it go that he couldn't have you." She seethed.

"He did this of his own accord. I didn't push him to do it at all. If you survive this, you're going back to ADX, by the way." I said.

"Oh, great! My choices are death and prison. Fabulous." Rayne griped.

"Look," I sighed as I stood back up, "I do feel a little bad. You two are going to be hunted by the most dangerous one of our group. I'll throw you a bone here. This is a fair game, after all. There's six watch towers on the island and a water tower. At each, you can find some tools or weapons to help you out. Don't go towards one if it has a light on though. That's how you'll get yourself killed."

"Why should we trust you?" Vanessa asked.

I turned around, facing my back to them. Glancing over my shoulder, I said, "What other choice do you have?" Then I hopped back on the ladder and began to climb back into the darkness above.
