I just watched the Naruto Movie, Road To Ninja last night, and I really enjoyed it. It's only the second Naruto movie I've ever seen, and since I enjoyed it so much, I've posted the video I watched on the side over there so you can see it too :)

More about the movie at the end of the chapter :)

Imagine her with less boob showing and pants with no impractial slits in them  -_-

Ashley’s POV

Racing speedily along the ground, in an attempt to separate myself from the rest of the competitors I’d transported with, I suddenly skid to a halt, Kyoku not too far behind me. Hearing Yue, the girl from the Hidden Snow, land on a branch above me and pause, I stare down at the ground, brows furrowed.

All of our heads snap up at the sound of a loud explosion, the ground rocking violently beneath our feet. A flock of small birds suddenly shoots up out of the trees, flapping their wings frantically as they disappear up above the leaves and into the sky.

“What was that?....” I wonder to myself, turning around and staring back in the direction we’d come from. Kyoku looks back as well, her blue eyes suspicious. The sudden explosion had come from the place where we’d first began this Round, and the only person I can sense anywhere near there is Tozoku, though she seems to be on the move now as well.

‘What are you up to now?’ I can’t help wondering, narrowing my eyes, before some movement in the bushes to my left catches my attention.

Quickly bounding backwards a few steps, I pull out a kunai and brandish it, trying to figure out who’s hiding back there. Kyoku places her hands together in a hand sign, keeping her eyes up on Yue, just in case she takes advantage of the situation and tries to attack us.

The dark haired girl keeps her brown eyes trained on the bushes as well however, hand resting on her weapons pouch as she crouches down amongst the leaves.

A kunai is suddenly flung out of the bushes, aiming straight for my head. Gritting my teeth, I swipe my kunai at the incoming one, managing to counter the knife and make it ricochet somewhere off to the left.

“Right…” I mutter under my breath, “It that’s the way you want to play it…” I place the kunai between my teeth and slap my hands together, performing the hand signs for one of my own original Jutsu.

“Fire Style: Fire Wolf Explosion” I growl, swiftly blowing out three small fireballs and watching as they form into miniature Wolf-like creatures. They immediately whirl around, bounding towards the bush and diving into it, sparks of fire floating behind them. I squint my eyes as one of them explodes, blowing a wave of hot air towards us, before someone suddenly flips out of the bush.

Fuisuke lands in a crouched position right in front of me, glaring into my eyes, before leaping up into the air again. My two remaining Wolves chase after him swiftly, easily able to keep up with the Mist Ninja as he dodges between the trees.

Noticing Yue hiding in the branches above us, Fuisuke focuses chakra into his feet and charges up the tree trunk, knowing my Wolves will follow. Yue’s eyes widen as Fuisuke leaps right over her, the flaming Wolves now aiming for her.

I watch as she pulls out what looks to be an exploding tag, with Japanese characters written all over it. The girl holds the tag up, her other hand held in front of her face, with two fingers folded down and the other two held up.

To my surprise, a blue, sparkling dome suddenly appears around Yue, and as my Wolves collide with it, they explode, sending out another heat wave. As Fuisuke lands back on the ground, resting on one knee, I feel a huge amount of chakra building up near Yue.

For reasons I don’t really understand, I leap forwards and tackle Fuisuke backwards, just as a large ball of chakra enhanced fire shoots from the trees and crashes into the ground, causing a huge explosion.

As soon as Fuisuke’s back hits the ground, he flips us over, now kneeling over me as chunks of debris fly in all directions, raining down on us and blowing a cloud of dust into the air.

Activating my Katsuryoku to try and find Kyoku, I sense Yue climbing to her feet and racing away, not wanting to have to deal with us after launching that deadly attack. Hopefully the Jonin will transport here and disqualify her, because that was a ferocious attack.

Glancing up, I give Fuisuke a stoic look, seeing his dark eyes narrowed at me. I don’t know what he’s thinking, or what he was thinking when he shielded me, but we’re still contestants in a competition that I want to win.

“Alright Prince Charming” I say dryly, though a smirk finds its way onto my face, “Time to get off.”

As I suddenly flip up and spin around, aiming to kick Fuisuke, he pushes away from me, landing up in a nearby tree. I dust myself off, giving Fuisuke a wary look as he watches me, before deciding to disappear back into the forest.

“Kyoku?” I eventually call, walking towards her presence. “Are you alright?”

“I’m fine” her soft voice replies from above me, causing me to tilt my head back. “I just didn’t expect that attack.”

Kyoku leans over the side of the branch she’s sitting in, giving me a strained closed eye smile. Bounding easily up through the branches, I drop down beside Kyoku, sitting on my knees.

“That’s a nasty looking burn” I say, wincing slightly at the red raw skin of Kyoku’s right thigh. “It’s burned right through your clothes. Don’t worry though, burns I can handle! This won’t take too long at all.”

Removing my fingerless gloves, I perform a hand sign, green chakra soon enveloping my hands. Lowering my arms and holding my hands just over Kyoku’s injury, I begin healing the wound. As the burn slowly begins healing, Kyoku closes one eye, no doubt in quite a lot of pain.

“How did she even do that Jutsu?” I wonder out loud, referring to Yue’s attack. “I didn’t expect her to have the chakra for such an attack.”

“I saw her pull out a Spell Tag before” Kyoku informs me quietly, eyes flicking down to look at her wound. “That’s probably how she did it.”

“A Spell Tag?” I ask curiously, having never heard of such a thing. “What’s a Spell Tag?”

“They’re a special kind of weapon” Kyoku explains, resting the back of her head against the bark of the tree we’re in, “And they’re only made in the Hidden Snow Village. They refuse to sell the weapon to anyone outside of the Village, to keep it a secret. Basically, it’s a tag that has some kind of Jutsu sealed into it, and when someone focuses their chakra into the tag, the sealed Jutsu will activate.”

“Wow….” I mutter, raising an eyebrow. “That’s actually pretty cool. It’s almost like magic.”

“Yes” Kyoku smiles at me, feeling a lot more relaxed now that her wound is almost fully healed. “And the best part is, you barely have to infuse any of your chakra into the tag, so using a high level Jutsu won’t require as much chakra as it normally would.”

“I wish we could get our hands on some of those” I comment, before leaning back and dropping my hands into my lap, the green aura fading. “There, all done! How does it feel?”

Kyoku carefully bends her knee, before stretching her leg back out and smiling appreciatively at me.

“It feels fantastic, thank you” she says sincerely, tilting her head to the side. “You’re a talented Medical Ninja. Did Lady Tsunade teach you?”

I smile wryly at Kyoku, revealing my sharp, canine like teeth and shake my head.

“I’m no Medical Ninja” I say, for what feels like the millionth time in my life. “I’m merely a Ninja who has some basic healing knowledge. And no, I only helped her with one or two surgeries….Majority of my healing knowledge comes from Kabuto Yakushi, Orochimaru’s right hand man.”

Kyoku blinks in surprise, before staring at me for a few moments, seemingly thinking something over. I shrug, pulling my gloves back on and glancing around the forest blankly.

I’m pretty sure Kyoku already knows that I once worked for Orochimaru, but I guess people tend to forget it, despite my bad attitude most of the time. I don’t like to admit that Orochimaru and Kabuto taught me anything, but truth be told, without them…..I wouldn’t be half the Ninja I am today….What a depressing thought….

“That’s right” Kyoku says slowly, “You worked for Orochimaru in the past…..Hmm….It’s hard to believe, considering how well you seem to fit in with the other Villagers.”

Ha!” I bark out a laugh, before giving Kyoku an amused look. “You should’ve met me when I first arrived at the Village. You wouldn’t be saying the same thing then…..And don’t even get me started on what I was like when I was Orochimaru’s lackey.”

“I just….Can’t imagine you as a bad person” Kyoku tells me, chuckling and shrugging her shoulders as she rises to her feet. “You act tough, but I know you’re not so bad.”

“I don’t act tough” I correct, crossing my arms and giving the blue haired Jonin a playful scowl. “Being super friendly just doesn’t come naturally to me….On another note, we’d better get a move on and try to find our stupid flag.”

“Oh yeah!” Kyoku agrees, blinking a few times. “Hopefully we’ll run into Kakashi and Neji along the way.”

Third Person’s POV

Neji slides across the muddy ground on his side, a frown of concentration etched onto his face as he ducks his head under a low hanging branch. Before his slide comes to an end, Neji leaps to his feet and jumps high into the air, narrowly evading a deadly blast of water. It slams into the ground at high speed, creating a small crater in the dampened earth. Water sloshes up into the air, splattering against Neji’s already soaked clothing.

His Byakugan activated, Neji is managing to keep an eye on his and Kakashi’s attacker as they both try to run away from her, unsure as to why exactly she’s attacking them in the first place.

Landing down on a branch and frowning unhappily due to the fact that his white robes are now soaked and muddy, Neji spares a quick glance to his right. He sees Kakashi bounding across the ground swiftly, evading shot after shot of small water bullets.

Though they were only made of water, they were mixed with a high concentration of chakra, causing them to be a lot more deadly than your average water balloon.

“Better move it Neji!” Kakashi calls, crouching down, before launching himself into the air and avoiding a swift volley of water bombs. “We’ve got to find Ashley and Kyoku!”

“This is getting ridiculous….” Neji sighs wearily, before hastily dropping down from his branch and dashing across the uneven ground. He sweat drops, as the tree he’d just been perched on explodes, shreds of bark flying in all directions. A sonic wave blasts through the air, blowing Neji’s long, brown hair over his head and into his face.

“Why is she even coming after us?” Neji asks as Kakashi pulls up beside him, the two males now running side by side. The brunette swipes his hair back from his face agitatedly, wondering where his hair tie had gone.

“I don’t know” Kakashi sighs, hearing a nasty female voice shouting at them in the background. “I tried asking her, and she tried to run me through with a kunai. She just doesn’t like me.”

As both Leaf Ninja sense an incoming attack, Kakashi suddenly whirls around, raising up the left side of his headband as he runs backwards. Eyes focused on the large sphere of water aiming for him, Kakashi performs a rapid set of hand signs and takes a deep breath.

“Water Style: Liquid Bullet!” he shouts, releasing a pent up shot of Water Nature chakra from his mouth. Having seen Irazen do the hand signs a few minutes earlier, he’d been able to copy the Jutsu with his Sharingan.

Flipping back around to face the right way, Kakashi and Neji don’t stop as the two Liquid Bullets collide, exploding and spraying drops of water everywhere.

“Have you still got our flag at least?” Kakashi questions, ducking down and sliding under a bush, before straightening up and continuing along side a stoic faced Neji.

Remaining silent, Neji reaches a hand into his robe and pulls the small, green flag out, waving it unenthusiastically. The tiny Leaf symbol is barely visible on the flag, seeing as Irazen’s constant barrage of Water Jutsu had soaked the material through.

“Good job” Kakashi compliments, unable to hide the amusement from his voice as Neji grows an anime vein and shoots the older Jonin an annoyed look.

“Water Style: Liquid Bullet!” Neji and Kakashi hear Irazen call from behind them, sounding more irritated and determined than before. Neji rolls his pale eyes and tucks the tiny flag away, before glancing over his shoulder and glaring back at Irazen.

“Alright” he mumbles, skidding to a halt and whirling around, “This is just getting absolutely ridiculous now. Time to teach this silly woman a lesson.”

Curious, Kakashi also slides to a halt and turns around, wanting to see what Neji had in mind.

“Remember Neji” the older Jonin calls out, “No killing force.”

Bah” the Hyuga scoffs, focusing his chakra. “Tell her that….Eight Trigrams: Air Palm Wall!”

Seeing Irazen in the distance, her Liquid Bullet about to collide with Neji, the young Hyuga powerfully thrusts both arms forwards, releasing a huge blast of chakra from his open palms in an instant.

The chakra, so strong that it can be seen, slams into Irazen’s Liquid Bullet and pushes against it, before the water completely dissipates and gets blown backwards. Surging forwards, Neji’s powerful Jutsu collides with Irazen and causes her to scream out furiously as she is thrown up into the air, blown backwards as well.

“Impressive” Kakashi says honestly, eyebrows raised as Neji lowers his arms and turns back around, shrugging a shoulder.

“I’ve been training with the Main Family for quite some time now” he explains, releasing a low sigh as he glances down at the muddy mess his robes had become. “Serves her right. I was getting sick of her.”

“Hey, I was going to ask you this earlier” Kakashi begins, something suddenly coming to mind, “You know, before Irazen attacked us. Did you hear or feel some sort of explosion not long after we teleported here?”

Neji nods his head, eyes narrowing.

“I heard, felt and saw it” the pale eyed boy confirms seriously. “I already had my Byakugan activated back when we first began this Round, to try and find our other team members. I saw one of the contestants blow it up with paper bombs.”

Purposely?” Kakashi asks incredulously, to which Neji nods his confirmation. “What would a contestant be blowing up the only quick entry and exit points for?”

“Perhaps she’s planning to break a rule or two?” Neji suggests, before frowning in thought. “It was that blonde girl from the Grass Village that blew up the entry. I don’t recall her name, but she had a large sword strapped to her back and-”

“That will have been Peikirin” Kakashi interrupts, sighing and shaking his head. “She had to fight Ashley back in the Chunin Exams and she lost, quite badly. I hope she’s not planning on doing anything to Ashley….”

“She and that other girl, Tozoku, have had it out for Ashley this whole Tournament haven’t they?” Neji asks lowly, glancing over at Kakashi. “What if they plan on doing something to her?”

This earns Neji a serious look from Kakashi, the man narrowing his eyes slightly, looking somewhat dangerous.

“We’d better find Ashley and Kyoku quickly” he mutters, picking up his speed. “We have no idea just how large this forest is, and I won’t let them do anything to one of my students.”

Tozoku peeks around the tree she’s hiding behind, wincing slightly as Okita’s blade clashes with another of Kana’s thrown kunai knives. The girl’s long purple hair swishes behind her as she spins around, skilfully swinging her sword and deflecting a handful of swiftly flung shuriken.

“Why are you attacking me?” Okita demands to know, her dark violet eyes angry as she glares up at Kana. “That is the Rain’s flag!”

Kana, kneeling on one knee up on a tree branch, brandishes two more kunai in her right hand, a small, blue flag held tightly in the other one. She narrows her bright green eyes back down at Okita, not at all fazed by the girl’s amazing sword skills.

“I’m the only Sand Ninja in this Round” she explains lowly, rising to her feet. “By taking your flag, I’m eliminating some of the competition.”

“That’s called cheating” Okita informs Kana lowly, raising her sword back up. “You’re playing this game the dishonourable way.”

“I’m not dishonourable” Kana argues, sounding offended by the other girl’s accusation. “I’m merely using good tactics to help myself win. You’ve got two other team members helping you search for your flag, while I’ve got to search this whole place by myself.”

“You’re still cheating” Okita repeats firmly, before suddenly launching herself up at Kana, sword raised above her head. Eyes widening at the Rain Ninja’s speed, Kana spins around and flings the two kunai at Okita, before diving down from the tree and racing off into the forest.

Okita grits her teeth and swipes at the kunai knives, deflecting them in two different directions, before landing back on the ground and taking off after Kana, determined to retrieve her team’s flag.

“Alright….” Tozoku says softly, cautiously stepping out from behind the tree. “It seems like they’re go- Eeeeek!”

Tozoku cuts herself off with a shriek, stumbling back just in time to avoid being hit with one of the kunai. The knife stabs itself into the ground at Tozoku’s feet, before the girl trips over backwards and lands on her butt, blinking her wide eyes.

Feeling somewhat embarrassed, seeing as there’s probably a camera hidden around her somewhere, Tozoku pouts and pushes herself to her feet, quickly dusting off her clothes.

“Okay, time to implement Plan B” she breathes, closing her eyes and placing her hands together in a hand sign. “….Even though Plan A hasn’t begun yet…..Anyway! Summoning Jutsu!”

Becoming enshrouded in a huge cloud of white smoke, Tozoku’s eyes flick open at the sound of something heavy landing on the ground before her, the earth quaking slightly.

The red head feels a blast of hot breath blow against her face, making her squint and raise a hand. As her hand touches something leathery and wet, a hideous growl emanates through the air, causing the red head to smile darkly.

“Hello Plan B” Tozoku chuckles, staring into the two glowing, blue eyes before her. “I need you to do me a little favour. Go and find Peikirin as quickly as you can, but make sure to keep to the shadows. After Peikirin goes completely psycho…..Then it’s time for you to go after Ashley Minami……You know who she is, I’ve talked about her to you before. Go!”

The enormous beast before Tozoku opens its jaws and lets out a sharp howl, before spinning around and bounding swiftly through the dimly lit forest.

Once again by herself, Tozoku grins to herself, before glancing around, and taking off in the opposite direction to her Summon. It was time to put Plan A into action.

“Just you wait Ashley” Tozoku mumbles to herself darkly, running through the trees hurriedly, “I’m about to show you the best Summoning Beast you’ll ever see…..It’ll be the last thing you ever see!.....”

“And with that ladies and gentleman” Areki announces eagerly, “The Final Round has begun!”

Areki throws the audience a closed eye smile, while they scream and cheer wildly, throwing their fists in the air and clapping as the two groups of teleported Ninja appear on the large screens.

Having suddenly appeared in the dimly lit forest, the two groups of ten Ninja wait restlessly, one team showing on the screen to the right of Areki’s face and the other situated on the screen below him.

On the lower screen, Kakashi and Neji stand side by side, the older Jonin’s hands in his pockets, visible eye scanning across the other contestants, as Neji folds his arms across his chest and closes his eyes. Off to Kakashi’s right, Irazen glares daggers at him, before gritting her teeth and abruptly turning her head away. Standing at the back of the group, back slightly hunched, Peikirin stands silently, dark pink eyes hooded. She slowly glances around the forest, her eyes momentarily staring into the hidden camera aimed at her, before narrowing them and looking away. She sways from side to side, looking somewhat irritated about something.

Suddenly, the Ninja are given the order to begin, the Grass Jonin that had teleported them to the forest immediately disappearing, poofing back into the stadium.

Nine Ninja immediately leap in all different directions, wanting to get as much distance between them as possible. Neji and Kakashi stick together, racing across the ground and disappearing into the undergrowth, with Irazen following behind at a slightly slower speed.

The tenth Ninja remains behind, unmoved from her original position. Tilting her head to the side, Peikirin has another look around, before reaching back into her weapons pouch. Pulling out a handful of smoke bombs, Peikirin raises her arm above her head and looks up. Grinning nastily at the camera, she throws her arms down, the smoke bombs pouring out clouds of thick smoke as they hit the ground.

The camera’s vision is cut off as the smoke billows around it, when all of the sudden it begins shaking, the screen turning fuzzy, before the camera shuts down altogether.

Areki pauses as the camera is cut off, having to switch to another camera hidden in the forest instead.

“It seems we’re having some technical difficulties with one of our cameras folks” he informs the crowd, keeping up his bright persona. “But our screens will be flicking between the different cameras anyway, so no proble-”

Areki cuts himself off, as he notices the screen on the right. Seeing standing at the Warping Scroll, his eyes widen as he sees that she’s planted Paper Bombs all over it, her hands now held together in a hand sign.

Before he has a chance to say anything, the right screen is lit up with a bright, white light, flames flickering on and off of the screen, before that camera is cut off as well. A new image soon appears on the screen, showing Kana finding the Rain Village’s flag.

“Uhh, I’m not sure what’s going on here” Areki begins, looking down to the Jonin for answers, only to see the troubled looks on their faces. “Perhaps our Grass Jonin could-”

“They’ve destroyed the Warping Scrolls” one of the Jonin growls, running a hand through his hair. “We can’t get to them now!”

Areki’s eyes widen again, watching as the two Jonin from earlier stand on top of their respective Warping Scrolls and perform a set of hand signs in unison. Much to their annoyance, they remain in place, the Jutsu no longer working.

“What are we supposed to do now?” another Jonin asks. “If anything goes wrong, we can’t get to the contestants straight away.”

“That forest is at least a good twenty four hours away from here” one of the Jonin standing on the scrolls sighs irritably. “Those two girls are obviously up to something.”

Areki glances back at the screens, a troubled look in his eye as he sees a large shadow dash past one of the camera, barely visible on the screen.

“This isn’t good ladies and gentlemen” he murmurs into his microphone, as the Jonin below hurriedly try to figure out just what’s going on.

Kyoku’s brows furrow as something black catches her eye, nestled comfortably on top of a broken tree stump. Pausing on top of a thick tree branch, Kyoku crouches down and holds up her hand for Ashley to stop as well.

Running along the ground, Ashley feels Kyoku’s movements and slides to a halt, swiftly ducking behind a tree.

‘What are we stopping for Kyoku?’ Ashley wonders, unable to see the blue haired woman from her vantage point, but able to sense her due to her Katsuryoku being activated. ‘There are people approaching us, but we can easily change course and evade them….’

After a few moments of concentrating on Kyoku, Ashley suddenly nods, the woman having raised her arm and pointed in the direction of the black flag she’d spotted.

Looking in the direction Kyoku had pointed, Ashley’s eyes keenly flick through the trees and bushes, wondering what she was meant to be seeing. She soon spots the little black flag, a Hidden Mist symbol printed in the middle of the material.

“Ahh….” Ashley murmurs softly, pressing her back firmly against the tree trunk and peering around it. “Good spotting Kyoku…..Maybe we should steal it, so the Mist Ninja never find it…….Hmmm…..”

Kyoku, having similar thoughts to Ashley’s, turns her head, trying to spot the blonde girl down amongst the thick foliage. She’d hidden well it seemed, because she wasn’t visible at all. How was Kyoku meant to ask Ashley if she would agree to steal the flag if she couldn’t even see her?

As Kyoku releases a soft sigh, a sound suddenly catches her attention, causing her head to whip back around, eyes focused.

Within seconds, Tanzaki appears on the ground, landing down on one knee. She remains still, slowly turning her head and searching through the surrounding forest with her keen, ruby eyes. Seemingly satisfied with the quietness of the forest, Tanzaki carefully rises to her feet and takes another look around.

Kyoku lowers herself down further, as Tanzaki cautiously begins walking towards her team’s flag, eyes flicking around as if she’s expecting some sort of attack. As she steps onto a pile of innocent looking leaves however, something beneath them begins glowing, the girl’s head immediately snapping down to look at her foot.

Eyes narrowing, Tanzaki swiftly darts backwards, placing one hand on the earth as she skids back, before the pile of leaves suddenly explodes. Ashley ducks back behind her tree, as a hot blast of smoke blows past her, the aftermath of a well hidden paper bomb. Kyoku throws a hand in front of her face, both Leaf Ninja sweat dropping. It was lucky they hadn’t gone to get the flag.

Tanzaki, seemingly unfazed by the bomb and surrounding smoke, reaches into her belt and pulls out two steel fans. She quickly snaps them open and stretches her arms out to her sides. Focusing chakra to her legs, Tanzaki pushes off from one foot and begins spinning in a rapid circle.

As Tanzaki spins, the smoke begins clearing away, thanks to her use of the two fans she’s wielding. Just as the smoke clears, Nobu drops down from a tree and lands in front of Tanzaki’s flag. She crosses her arms and tilts her head to the side, smirking nastily as the Mist Ninja slowly comes to a halt.

“Psh, how dumb are you?” Nobu mocks, rolling her eyes and flicking some violet hair from her face. “I can’t believe you didn’t even expect some sort of trap! Oh well, the dumber you are, the easier it is for me to defeat you!”

Tanzaki merely stares at Nobu, fans held in a defensive position. Nobu’s smirk drops as she realises that Tanzaki isn’t responding, before she places her hands together in a hand sign.

“Fine then, if you’re going to be boring” she growls. “Water Style: Ripping Torrent!”

Holding out her hand and concentration a large amount of chakra into her palm, Nobu manages to create a swirling vortex of chakra infused water.

As she raises the vortex above her head, Nobu grins nastily at Tanzaki, before heaving her arm forwards and throwing the large, spiral of water at her opponent.

Tanzaki spreads her feet wider apart and raises one of her fans above her head, the other held down by her waist. She performs swift hand signs with one hand, something that is highly unusual.

“Fire Style: Flame Bullet” Tanzaki mutters in a low, rough voice, before taking a deep breath and blowing out a chakra powered fireball. Ashley’s eyes widen as Tanzaki catches the fireball with her fans, before spinning in a rapid circle, the fire growing and burning more fiercely with every revolution.

‘Why is she using a Fire Jutsu against a Water one?’ Ashley wonders, brows furrowing with confusion. Surely Tanzaki knew better?

Just as Nobu’s Jutsu is about to hit Tanzaki, the Mist Ninja ceases her spinning and uses one of her fans to throw the now giant fireball as a counter attack. The fireball hits Nobu’s spinning vortex at speed, sizzling as the water begins to steam and turn to vapour. Much to Ashley’s surprise, Tanzaki’s Flame Bullet causes the water to boil away in an instant, before continuing its trajectory towards Nobu.

Before Nobu can respond, someone drops down from the trees and lands on the ground in front of her, hands slamming against the earth.

“Earth Style: Mud Wall!” the newcomer calls, as a thick wall of rock protrudes up from the ground at speed. Tanzaki’s fireball crashes into the wall, causing it to shake violently, before it fizzles out.

“Takishimaru!” Nobu cries happily, clapping her hands as the short, male Stone Ninja rises to his feet. He turns his head, shaggy, brown hair covering the top half of his face.

“Took me long enough to find you…” he mutters, sweat dropping as Nobu hugs him tightly, a closed eye smile on her face. “Uh….The Mist Ninja?”

“Oh!” Nobu squeaks, releasing her teammate. “Right! Let’s get her Takishimaru!”

That said, Nobu leaps up, one foot landing on top of Takishimaru’s Mud Wall, before she leaps down at Tanzaki. The Mist Ninja bends her knees slightly, watching as Nobu performs some hand signs. Takishimaru burst out from behind his Mud Wall, pulling two kunai out of his long sleeves and brandishing one in each hand as he darts towards Tanzaki.

“Water Style: Water Whip Jutsu!” Nobu cries, releasing a stream of water from her mouth, before catching the end in her hand. “I’ll hold her down for you Takishimaru!”

With a flick of her wrist, Nobu lashes the chakra infused whip towards Tanzaki, who darts backwards, eyes narrowed. Nobu, smirking smugly, creates another whip to hold in her other hand, and cracks it at Tanzaki.

The Mist Ninja throws her arm out towards the whip, sending chakra into her steel fan and slicing through the end of Nobu’s whip. She then flips around, avoiding the second whip and slashing her arms downwards, chopping right through that one as well.

Nobu growls furiously as Tanzaki lands gracefully on the ground, fans held at the ready. Takishimaru suddenly appears right behind Tanzaki, brandishing his two kunai. She turns her head just as the Stone Ninja makes a stab for her, only for the girl to jam her elbow back into his chest. As he splutters, Tanzaki turns on her heel and kicks the kunai from Takishimaru’s hand, placing a foot on his chest and flipping away from him, while pushing the boy backwards at the same time.

As he stumbles back, Takishimaru manages to pull out a handful of shuriken and flings them at Tanzaki. The Mist Ninja sees them coming, and raises her steel fans, eyes narrowed. She was clearly not amused by the Stone Ninja ganging up on her.

Showing great skill and precision, Tanzaki manages to counter all of the shuriken, batting them in all directions with her steel fans.

“Water Style: Water Whip!” Nobu suddenly calls, swiftly flinging the end of a new whip at Tanzaki’s feet. Having caught the Mist Ninja while she was busy, Nobu’s whip wraps around her feet and pulls them together, rendering the girl unable to escape.

Glaring down at the whip around her ankles, Tanzaki begins performing one handed hand signs again, ready to launch her own offensive. As she is about to attack, someone suddenly leaps down from the trees and spins around, kicking her in the back of the head with a painful crack.

The Mist Ninja is sent sprawling across the ground, eyes scrunched closed, her attacker landing on the ground beside her.

“Well that was easy!” the girl sneers, hands on her hips as she glances down at Tanzaki, who is slowly pushing herself up.

Ashley narrows her eyes at the red head, distaste for the girl written clearly on her face. Perhaps now would be the time to get some revenge?

“Wanna team up to beat this weak Mist Ninja?” Tozoku asks Nobu seriously, though there’s an amused smirk on her face. “The more competition we dispose of, the easier it’ll be to win!”

“Ninja from the Stone Village don’t need help from the likes of you” Nobu sniffs arrogantly, pursing her lips and watching as Tanzaki rubs the back of her head, seemingly still in a daze from the hard kick she’d received. “Right Takishimaru?”

Before the male Stone Ninja can reply, Tanzaki suddenly leaps to her feet and blows out another fireball at him, having felt him sneaking up on her.

His eyes widen as he performs a set of hand signs, aiming to create another Mud Wall. Ashley grits her teeth, watching as Nobu abruptly pulls on her Water Whip, holding Tanzaki back from running at Takishimaru, as Tozoku leaps into the air, pulling out a handful of kunai and grinning nastily at Tanzaki’s back.

**POSSIBLE MOVIE SPOILERS**

So anyway, my favorite part of the movie, though only brief, is when the Akatsuki attack towards the end of the movie. Hidan makes me laugh, and Deidara is soo cute :3 There's a bit of fan service for everyone, so you Akatsuki lovers will enjoy that.

Also, we all know that Kiba is my favorite character, but he was completely ruined in this movie TT-TT I never wish for him to be a cat lover. EVER.

Shikamaru. Now, I AM a Shikamaru fan, but Shikamaru is an IDIOT in the movie lol. I hated him. Though the bath scene with him is quite interesting....

I am a massive Sasuke hater, and I have never tried to hide it lol. I really despise him, though not as much as Sakura, but I LOVED him in the movie. Cute, flirty Sasuke is actually quite entertaining.

SAKURA. Possibly one of my LEAST favorite characters in the entire Naruto universe. Seriously, it really shows in this movie, but I truly believe she was only intended to aggravate EVERYONE. She's so selfish and I just....jhbgrfjwruohgfiowrk. I could rant about that bitch all day lol. HATE. HER.

Hinata was cool, Neji was.....VERY OOC. I loved Kakashi and Gai as well, they were pretty funny.

Overall, I really enjoyed Road To Ninja, and it really proved just how amazing Masashi Kishimoto's character development is. The way he's created the Canon characters, they mesh well in their teams and none of them (apart from Sakura) irritate me that much lol. When they have their personalities reversed however......Yeah, Naruto just wouldn't have been as good an anime if those had REALLY been their personalities.

Anyway, that's enough from me, just watch the Movie lol.
