Nico's breathing was in fast, sharpened breaths. He was sweating horribly. And trembling.

It was bad.

"Get a close friend of his. It's a nightmare, I'm not sure if I can get him under control!" Will yelled, Sonya only nodded. "We have Jason." She said, Will only nodded, and was trying to quickly work out what was wrong.

His list:
Nightmare.

That was it. . .

Sad really.

"What's wrong with Nico?" Jason exclaimed, running into the room. "Nightmare, he may hurt himself or cause damage. Do you know how to wake him up as calmly as he can possibly be after a nightmare?" Will demanded.

Jason only nodded, but continued to stand there.

"Do it!" Will said impatiently.

"You try Sunshine. He knows you better than me." Jason said, shrugging.

Will looked at Jason, then at Nico, and then he sighed.

It was worth a shot?

Will cautiously waked over to Nico, now the whimpering had turned into groans and occasional screams.

"Will." Nico whimpered, tears running down his face.

Will shakily put his hand out, letting it land on Nico's sweaty forehead.

"Hey honey." He whispered, Nico froze.

His eyes still shut.

"Darkness. So dark." Nico whimpered, "I know. But it's okay." Will said, looking at Nico.

He was trembling still.

Carefully, Will got closer, setting Nico (cautiously) in his lap.

"Shh. Shh." Will whispered, "Help." Nico said, breathless.

"It's okay." Will whispered, pulling his head closer, now the son of Hades was cuddling his chest.

Jason was just watching.

"W-will?" Nico asked, opening his eyes.

His voice was vulnerable, like a kids.

Well, he technically was a kid- he wasn't 16 yet, or even 18.

"Hey Angel, you okay?" Will asked, Nico sniffles, and started to cry silently.

"I'm so w-weak." He said, "It's okay. We all have nightmares like this." Will reassured, holding Nico in his arms.

Nico put his nose in Will's neck.

"Don't leave me." Nico whimpered.

"It's okay." Will repeated.

Nico had no control over what he was doing. Will knew this- after all, he had a concussion. Head damage probably brought on some nerve damage. Or at least a woozy- under nitrogen- state of mind.

Being pulled out his thoughts by the empty room.

It was quiet.

Nico was breathing evenly on Will's chest.

"This is for work. Just doctor business." He told himself.

"Doctors business." He murmured, distracted by the new chart that came in.

"Nico Di Angelo. Allergies. Finally." Will concluded, a soft smile gazing his lips.
