After dinner, and after hanging out with Esme for an hour or two, Nico walked up to him.

"Hey babe." James told him from the ground, shooting him a smirk and a small glance.

Nico's face was dark, and a murderous glare was sent to James almost immediately.

"We need to talk." Nico growled at him, his hand shooting up and grabbing James's wrist tightly. James gasped in pain, surprised by the tightening grip.

"O-okay." James stammered, Nico pulling him off of the ground.

Nico then harshly yanked him closer, dragging him to the Hades cabin.

Opening the door violently, Nico turned around. He have James a sickening smile.

Letting go of his wrist, he said a simple, but beautiful, phrase.

"I can't do this anymore, we're now both single."

James rubbed his red, pained wrist, and then looked at Nico— very confused.

"What?" James finally asked, the silence growing in the cabin getting uncomfortable.

Nico sighed, shaking his head.

"We need to I separate paths. I'm breaking up with you." Nico told him.

Something in James stirred. He ignored it.

"Oh. Um. B-bye." James stammered out, quickly walking put of the cabin.

He sighed once he was out of view, "What do I do now?" He asked himself, leaning against his (outer) cabin wall.

His cabin had dark oak walls, icy blue and white roof tiles (which stayed frozen all year), and small icicles/snowflakes carves onto the stair way, porch, and windowsills, plus, the windows were tinted a warm, glowing yellow— so it seemed the lights were always on.

"James, come on, curfews almost here!" One of his siblings shouted from the open window he was under. James jumped, gasping as he looked up.

His speedy heart calmed down, seeing his sibling (Eve).

Her short, gingerbread brown hair came up to just below her ears. Eve's poor completion standing out extremely on her white, pasty skin. Her acne looking like ripened strawberries.

She smiled at him, her soft link lips hiding two rows of blinding white teeth, covered in a pair of silver braces.

"Plus. Someone's here to see you." She added, her dark, hot chocolate colored eyes twinkling.

James nodded at her, walking up the cabins few steps. "Come on! It's a girl James. A girl." She told him, tugging gently on his sore wrist.

He winced, "You okay?" She asked, noticing her bother's wince.

James gave he a fake smile, "I'll tell you later. Promise." He found himself saying.

Eve nodded, and the siblings both entered the cabin.

Almost instantly, the smell of chocolate entered his nose. James smiled, closing his eyes for a split second. "I love our cabin." He mutters to Eve.

Eve let out a giggle. "Same." She agreed.

"Hey!" Esme said, appearing from Eve's left. Eve once again giggled, but walked away, leaving them both alone.

His other 3 siblings were sound asleep in their dark oak framed beds.

"Can you do me a favor?" Esme asked him sweetly.

"Um, sure?" James replied, confused in why he was in his cabin.

"Great!" Esme whispered, "Now. . . You will respond to Nico and your break up like t really hurt you. Cry, go through the basic stages of heart break, yell at him, anything to make it look like you're still in love with him. You will go into sad, heartbroken rants about you guys to anyone who will listen— except me." Esme told him.

James gut tugged, and his brain started to fizzle.

"Yes Esme." He murmured.

"Good night James. I'm sorry to hear about Nico." Esme said, louder than normal, then left.

"What does she mean James?" Eve questioned, she being the only other one awake in the cabin.

James started to cry.
