Cakey: I've been disclaimed.

Nico: Bridget owns Bridget, and that half sibling to my Will owns Demi.

KitKat: HE SAID "'MY' WILL!!"

Annabeth's POV

Annabeth heard something sneaking up behind her, instantly her dagger was in her hands and she had turned to face it.

The monster was one that Annabeth had encountered before. It had a spikey, scorpion-like tail, a lion body, and a human face.

"Annabeth Chase," The monster spoke. "We meet again."

"Who is this guy!?" Asked Demi who had laied Nico down gently on the ground.

"The first monster Nico encountered after the Hotel - Dr. Thorn. He's a manticore." Annabeth explained, dagger ready to strike. "What are you doing here?" She asked the monster.

"I'm here for revenge on you and that Nico brat! I shall feast on demigod flesh!"

Dr. Thorn swung his tail, and Annabeth dodged narrowly.

"Watch out!" Annabeth called to Demi, "The spikes on the tail are poisonous!" Annabeth blocked a spike with her dagger.

Demi pulled out her dagger and tried to hit the manticore. The blade slid off the fur leaving only a small scratch.

'Looking back on it,' Annabeth mused. 'We shouldn't have brought two dagger users incase Nico, the only sword user on the quest currently, got hurt.'

Will's POV

Will sighed looking around the small group. They were all surprised at what Will had done.

Will hid his arms and looked into the distance.

"Will..." A small voice mummbled.

"Hm?" Will asked his sister. He'd stopped crying, but she still had tears in her eyes, threatening to fall.

"Why didn't you tell someone or get help?"

Will shook his head. "The only one who would understand at Camp is a year younger and my crush that will never love me because he's straight. I also didn't know he lost a sister too..."

Luke spoke up for the first time since Will had woken up. "I don't know how Nico is now, Will, but if he's even remotely close to how he was when I was alive - he likes you back. Apparently, Bianica over there was the only one to know that Nico liked boys."

Will stared at Luke shocked. "But he hates me!"

"Does he really, Will?" Sielina mentioned. "That's the boy's new personality that he took up. He didn't show it before, but he admitted it to himself. Why else would he risk himself to save you? That's a percabeth move."

Will chuckled lightly. "Thanks guys..."

Will looked up, thinking of Nico. Will was smiling again - for his Ghost King.

This ending bit won't be in a script format because I need to apologize.

First off, I'm sorry that this chapter is a day late. The reason why ties in with the second reason I'm sorry.

Secondly, I'm sorry it's short. The 'fighting' scene took a little while to write/research on which monster to use for them to fight on the quest. I didn't want to delay it too much, so that part ended up being short.

Third, I'm sorry that I keep posting late for this book. I'm trying, but it's hard to post a chapter everyday while trying to maintain a half decent sleep schedule and a 'life.'
