[a/n: sorry I didn't update yesterday. I had a Harry Potter marathon and totally forgot to update. This is going to be quite a long update because I have no clue if I'll be able to update until after christmas.]

*Daisy's Point Of View*

The next morning, I woke up and got ready. Using a simple spell to change, I was done in less than five minuets. Pansy, my dorm mate was already gone.

I walked into the common room to see only one person in there. Draco. How comes he was still down here? He's normally the first one up and the first one ready to go.

"Hey Daisy." Draco snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Hey Draco, What's up?" I said joining him on the sofa.

"I just feel like something bad will happen soon. Don't you?" He sighed.

"Of corse, we have Harry Potter in this year, what more could go wrong? You-know-who wants to kill him and he'll go any length to do it."

"True but how comes he's never after you? Like you're Potters sister. Don't you have a scar and that too?" He questioned me.

"I do indeed have a scar, I was there that night, I survived a killing curse. But, I'm the only living member of Harry's family that isn't a muggle so, I'm a good weapon against him when the time comes..." I sighed.

"You heard my dad right, he thinks you'll be a good one, a death eater. He's forcing me to be one. When I'm older. I don't know if it's good or bad. I'm surprise your dad isn't forcing you. I mean he's a death eater too right."

"My dad gave me a choice. I will have to wait till the time comes. But that will mean betraying family. Everyone thinks it's a bad idea because you-know-who killed my mother but I have no memory of her."

"It's up to you to choose your side. It's your decision."

"True words spoken by Draco Lucius Malfoy." I laughed. "I feel like this years events are going to include me, more than I think they will."

"Hey, don't use my full name, Daisy Mae Snape." I laughed too.

"Oh no you don't Malfoy." I playfully smacked his arm.

"You're on Snape." he started hitting me and so on. We were both laughing like crazy by the time we'd finished.

"Draco, do you remember the first day of first year when I was a Gryffindork and you said you would of hurt me if my dad wasn't your head of house or teacher at this school?"

"I do and look where we are now, your not a Gryffindork now." He smiled at me. "I'm glad you're in Slytherin now."

"As am I. I feel like I have a proper friend in this house."

"And who might that be?" He smirked at me.

"You." I smiled. He returned it.

"You know, my dad thinks that you'll be a good friend of mine. He likes the fact we're friends. When we got home from Diagon Alley that day we saw you and he saw that you were a Slytherin, he told my mum how happy he was that I had one decent friend."

"What did your mum say? I haven't seen her since the holidays, almost two years ago?"

"She thought I hated you so she was happy."

"Hey, you don't hate me, right?" I smirked.

"Honestly, no. Your like my best friend. More than Goyle and Crabbe will ever be." he laughed a bit.

"What about Pansy, Blaise?" I questioned.

"They're good friends but I'm not exactly that close with them. Anyway, let's go to breakfast. We've only got twenty minuets till next lesson starts."

Draco and I decided to be idiots on the way to breakfast. We ran into anyone we could and Draco had to grab my hand to make me catch up with him. His touch made me get butterflies. Oh Draco. He looked at me and smirked.

We walked in the great hall, still holding hands with Draco. Loads of people looked at us. I saw three pairs of eyes looking at me. Harry, Ron and Hermione were giving me death glares.

"Gosh, don't race Daisy, She's so slow." Draco laughed as we sat down to eat.

Pansy, Blaise, Crabbe, Goyle, Draco and I, all walked to our first lesson together. Herbology.

"Good Morning, Everyone!" Professor Sprout shouted to everyone.

"Good Morning, Professor Sprout!" Half the class shouted. And by half the class, I mean Gryffindor's.

"Welcome to greenhouse three, second years. Now, gather around, everyone. Today we're going to repot mandrakes. Who here can tell me the properties of the mandrake root?" I put my hand up and so did Hermione. "Yes, Miss Snape."

"Mandrake or Mandragora, is used to return those who have been petrified to their original state. It's also quite dangerous. The mandrakes cry is fatal to anyone who hears it." I say and Hermione glares at me.

"Excellent! Ten points to Slytherin" everyone in Slytherin cheered at me. Draco smirked. "Now, as our mandrakes are still only seedlings, their cries won't kill you yet. But they could knock you out for several hours, which is why I have given each of you a pair of earmuffs for auditory protection. So, could you please put them on, right away? Quickly!" I put mine on. They were a horrid brown colour. "Flaps tight down, and watch me closely. You grasp your mandrake firmly, you pull it sharply out the pot." the mandrake started screaming really loud.

"Ahhh, shut the hell up." I sneered. Draco sniggered.

"How am I meant to hear after that." Draco snapped at Professor Sprout who just glared at him.

"Got it? And now...you dunk it down into the other pot and pour a little sprinkling of soil to keep him warm." Professor Sprout said, demonstrating.

We all did it and Draco stuck his finger in the mouth of his. It looked like Draco was going to punch it. "Look like you've got a friend dray." I whispered to him and he went a little red. Oh Draco blushed, Aww.

Neville fainted. I laughed. I finished mine quickly. I sighed, remembering I had detention tomorrow. Great.

The morning went really quickly and it was soon lunchtime. We were all in deep conversation when we heard Seamus shout "Look, Everyone! Weasley's got himself a howler!"

We all looked at him and we sniggered. He was shaking as he opened the letter. It flew back and the letter turned into a face. "RONALD WEASLEY! HOW DARE YOU STEAL THAT CAR! I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED! YOUR FATHERS NOW FACING AN INQUIRY AT WORK, AND ITS ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT! IF YOU PUT ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE, WE'LL BRING YOU STRAIGHT HOME." It said something about Ginny too and then tore into pieces.

"I can't believe that is flying that car would put us in trouble like that." I whispered to Draco.

"You were in that car with Weasley and Potter?" He raised an eyebrow.

"That's how I got to school yesterday." I laughed.

"What punishment did you get?"

"Weeks detention." I frowned.

"With?" He furrowed his eyebrows

"Lockhart." I sighed. "Pansy what lesson do we have next?" I asked.

"Defence against the dark arts." I groaned. I hated that lesson. I wanted to learn dark arts, not defence against them.

We got to the classroom a minuet late but Lockhart wasn't even there yet. "Let me introduce you to your new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, me. Gilderoy Lockhart, order of Merlin, Third class, Honorary member of the Dark Forced Defence League, and Five time winner of Witch weekly's most charming smile award." he smiled.

"You won't have a nice smile if you don't shut up about yourself and get on with the lesson." I spoke and a lot of people laughed.

"Now, Now Miss Snape, I like your enthusiasm towards the lesson. Your father tells me you're quite good at this lesson. But, I think you should know more about me first...hmmm." he looked at me and smiled. Loads of girls were looking at him like they were under love potion.

"Did he now... I'd rather get on with the lesson thanks." I smirked back and he walked to the stairs which lead from the office to the classroom.

"But I don't talk about that. I didn't get rid of the Bandon Banshee by smiling at him." He said smiling again. Eurgh he's so vain. And I have to spend detention with him.

I zoned out for the rest of the lesson until I felt someone's hand pull mine out of the classroom. "Draco, what was that for?" I whined.

"Didn't you see what happened then? Look everyone's out of the class!"

"No I was asleep?" I laughed.

"Oh, it doesn't matter. I've got Quidditch practice. Come and watch?"

"You made the quidditch team? Sure I will."

"I'm the new Slytherin Seeker." he said smirking

"You better beat my brother or there will be trouble draco." I smirked.

He walked off the get changed and I walked outside, ready to watch. I saw Hermione and Ron. went to sit next to Them. "Hermione, how are you?" I asked her.

"I'm good, how are you?" She asked, not looking up from her book.

"I'm great." I smiled. "Ron? How are you?"

"Great as I'll ever be. Uh-oh, I smell trouble." we looked up and saw the Gryffindor and Slytherin Quidditch teams fighting.

"My father gave you permission to practice then?" I asked Flint, the captain of the team.

"Yeah, to train Malfoy." he said pointing to the familiar blonde.

"At least no one on the Gryffindor Team had to buy their way in. They got in on pure talent."

"No one asked for your opinion, you filthy little Mudblood."

"Draco." I said coldly. Looking at Hermione who looked like she was going to cry. She stormed off.

"You'll pay for that one, Malfoy. Eat slugs." he said as he took out his wand. The curse backfired and he flew back and spat out slugs. Eww.

Some first year Gryffindor started asking Harry questions. "There's no counter curse for Eat slugs by the way, bro." I said to Harry as they walked off to Hagrid. "Can I watch your Quidditch practice?" I asked Flint who lead his team to the Quidditch pitch.

"Yeah, seems your Snape's daughter, it would be rude to say no." I followed them to the pitch and sat in one of the stands, watching them train draco.

After they had finished, I ran off because it was time for detention. I was five minuets late when I walked into Lockharts classroom "sorry I'm late- Brother?" I saw Harry sitting there.

"It can't be? Daisy Potter? Harry's twin? But your last name is Snape? How?" Lockhart questioned.

"Yeah that's me, Urm long story. Snapes my biological father." I said coldly.

"Daisy?" Harry questioned.

"Can we get on with detention. I actually want to sleep tonight."

"Definitely a Slytherin." professor Lockhart laughed.

"Professor, did you know that I've not always been in Slytherin?" I questioned and he looked shocked.

"What do you mean?" He raised an eyebrow.

"I was sorted into Gryffindor and resorted when I felt like Gryffindor wasn't the house for me." I said.

About three hours later, Lockhart finally spoke. "Harry and Daisy, can you possibly imagine a better way to serve detention than by helping me to answer my fan mail?" He questioned at both of us. I had addressed at least two-hundred envelopes.

"There are better ways to serve a detention than writing on envelopes." I said. "I would even clean the place without magic. It would be better than this." I laughed. Lockhart didn't look happy.

"Not really." Harry said, lying.

"Fame is a fickle friend, Harry. Celebrity is as a celebrity does. Remember that." he spoke proudly.

"Come to me, come to me, come!" A voice whispered.

"What was that voice?" I questioned.

"What voice?" Lockhart looked around like nothing happened.

"There was a voice. Right Harry?"

"I heard I too." Harry said, looking worried.

"What are you talking about, do you both have that special twin bond? I think we're all getting a bit drowsy. No wonder why! We've been here Nearly four hours! Spooky how the time flies when one is having fun heh, heh."

"Spooky." Harry and I said at the same time.

We left the classroom and there was that voice again. "Blood. I smell blood. Let me rip you. Let me kill you. Kill! Kill! Kill!" It said. I was creeped out.

"Harry did you hear that?" I said, a bit worried.

"I did hear that." he started listening again for the voice.

"Harry! Daisy!" Someone shouted. It was Hermione. She was with Ron.

"Did you hear it?" Harry questioned.

"Hear what?" She raised her eyebrows in confusion.

"That voice." I said.

"Voice? What voice?" She was confused.

"We first hear it in Lockharts office and then again just-" Harry was cut off by the voice again.

"It's time." the voice said again.

"It's moving." Harry said. We both followed the voice. "I think it's going to kill."

"Kill?" Ron looked scared.

"It said its time?" I spoke.

We ran to the corridor we could hear the voice. There was water all over the floor. We saw spiders all running out the window in a straight line. "Strange, I've never seen spiders act like that." Harry said.

"I don't like spiders...." Ron stuttered. "What's that?" Ron pointed to the wall.

"The chamber of secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir beware." I read slowly. "It's written in blood." my eyes went wide when I realised.

"Oh no... It's filches cat, Mrs Norris." Harry pointed to a cat which was hanging by its tale from a post on the wall. She was stiff and not moving. She was petrified.

All of the school came rushing to where we are. How did they know?

"Oh!" Madam Pomfrey shouted in shock.

"Enemies of the heir beware! You'll be next mudbloods." Draco shouted.

"Draco, now is not the time." I said coldly.

"What's going on here? Go on, make way, make way. Potter, Snape-- what are you....Mrs Norris? Potter you murdered my cat?" He totally forgot about me. He looked at his cat and looked like he was going to cry. My dad, Dumbledore, McGonagall, Professor Sprout, Lockhart and Madam Pomfrey, had made there way to the front.

"No, no." Harry trembled and stuttered.

"He didn't murder your cat." I shouted at the old caretaker.

"Did you murder my cat?" He looked at me. He was crazy.

"No one touched your cat." I sneered at him.

"I'll kill you both. I'll kill you both. Kill both of you." he started walking closer to us. He was crazy.

"Argus! Argus, I....Everyone will proceed to their dormitories immediately. Everyone, except you four." Dumbledore said as he pointed to Harry, Hermione, Ron and I. Everyone walked away. "She's not dead Argus. she has been Petrified." Dumbledore sighed.

"Ah, thought so. So unlucky I wasn't there. I know exactly the counter curse that could have spared her."

"Professor, not to be rude, but I doubt that you do." I added, my dad gave me a glare.

"But how she has been petrified, I cannot say..." Dumbledore sighed again.

"Ask them two. It's them who done it. You saw what they wrote on the wall." filch snapped at me and Harry.

"It's not true sir, I swear. Me and Daisy never touched Mrs. Norris." Harry added.

"Rubbish!" Filch shouted.

"If I might, headmaster?" My dad asked. Dumbledore nodded. He continued, "Perhaps Daisy, Potter and their friends were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, the circumstances are suspicious. I, for one, don't recall seeing Daisy and Potter at dinner." Dad added in quite a harsh tone.

"I'm afraid that's my doing, Severus. You see, your daughter and Harry were helping me answer my fan mail." My dad sneered at him.

"That's why Ron and I went looking for them. Malfoy came up to us and asked where Daisy was. We jut found them when they both said.."

"Yes, Miss Granger?"

"When we said we wasn't hungry. I was heading back to my common room and Daisy was going back to hers, when we found Mrs Norris." Harry said.

"Innocent until proven guilty, Severus." Wait, my dad was actually blaming me for this?

"My cat has been petrified. I wanna see some punishment." Filch snapped.

"Professor, If I may?" I asked if I could prove my point. He nodded at me. "It sounds as if a few teachers here are blaming two second year students of petrifying an animal when, we hardly know spells like that. Even some seventh years don't know spells like that." I said coldly, sounding like my dad.

"You are right, Daisy. You are both innocent unless it can be found that you did this. We will be able to cure her Argus. As I understand it, Professor Sprout has a very healthy growth of Mandrakes. When matured, a potion will be made which will revive Mrs Norris. And in the meantime, I strongly recommend Caution... To all." Dumbledore spoke, sounding quite worried.

We were all dismissed. "Daisy, Follow me." my dad spoke. I sighed. The others went one way and I went the other.

We reached the dungeons and into his office. "Sit." He said coldly. "Why is it, when trouble happens, it's always you there with Potters group?" He spat the name.

"It's just what you said. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time." I replied, just as cold.

"I heard you were rude in Lockharts class today." he looked at me seriously. "And then I heard you fell asleep." I chuckled but my dads face held no sign of amusement.

"He was going on and on about how he's won witch weekly's best smile award like five times. We learnt nothing. He only spoke about himself so, I fell asleep." I sighed. "It was the same in detention too."

"Very well, I will inform Albus. I also heard you were good in Herbology today... I never knew you liked that lesson?" He looked at me, slightly amused.

"Well I'm not exactly that good, I only earned us house points. But it's an okay lesson, yes." I answered. Then I remembered something from DADA. "Lockhart also told me that you told him that I was good at DADA and he also said that I liked the lesson so much that I needed to be good and listen."

"He did, did he?" My dad chuckled a bit. He'd started smiling and laughing more since I've been around.

"Yeah, I told him that I'd only listen if he'd shut up about himself."

"Did that work?"

"Nope." I laughed.

"Your close with Malfoy now. Your always with him a lot?"

"We're just friends still. Honestly were just friends. Nothing more. This morning, we were talking about how his dad is proud of him for having a friend like me. I don't know what he means by that though." I frowned.

"The Malfoy's are a strict family. Lucius only approves of Draco's friends if he likes them. If he doesn't, Draco normally turns against that person. So far, I'm sure Lucius and Narcissa have approved if Miss Parkinson and Mr. Zabini."

"Well, were only friends. Nothing more. Draco is there to listen to me."

"Listen to you about what? You know Daisy, you can tell me anything. I know I'm your father but I haven't been there for all of your life. There are things I don't know." He sighed.

"I told him about my past. I'm pretty sure Dumbledore has already told you?" I questioned.

"He told me basic things." He simply replied.

"So he told you about the abuse and the rape and torturing? He told you that I got kicked out? The nightmares and flashbacks I get?"

"He told me everything apart from the nightmares and flashbacks. You should have told me, I could have made you a potion."

"I know but still, the first time it happened, I woke up all the Gryffindor's at five in the morning, screaming. I spent the rest of the morning drinking tea with McGonagall, she told me about you when you were here as a student. She also told me how you see her as a mother."

"She did, did she? My Hogwarts days were not as amusing as they seemed." he sneered at a thought he had.

"But she told me how good you were at potions and DADA. She told me how I was just like you. She also told me about Lily, My mother. I wish I could meet her. I don't remember her at all."

"I remember you mother very well. Your a perfect mix of both of us. You look like both of us, you have both of our skills in all subjects, you have your mothers kindness and my short temper." he laughed a bit.

"That explains everything about me then. I've seen pictures on mum. She was very pretty."

"She was indeed, she was very pretty. I used to call her lils, she used to call me Sev. We lived near each other. We would spend hours together in a little park near our houses. It all changed when Hogwarts came into the picture."

"I'm guessing that's where James Potter came into the picture and messed it all up?"

"You are correct. Daisy, I'm sure you've heard of Legilimency. If you allow me, would you let me use it on you to see your past? At any time, you can fight it if you want. I'll only do it if you want." he asked kindly.

"Okay, take out your wand." I replied.

"Are you sure?" I nodded. He pointed his wand at me. "Legilimens." memories came flashing back. From the night my mother saved me and Harry to where I was brought to Hogwarts. They didn't hurt me as much. My dad needed to know all this stuff.

"You saw everything?" I asked.

"I'm so sorry Daisy, I should of been there for you. You didn't fight off the spell though?"

"I wanted you to see everything." I said honestly.

"I wish I was there. You've been through so much. It seems horrible. You're only twelve and you've been through all that." He sighed.

"I've gotten over most of it. That's the past. My future is here, with you, at Hogwarts." I smiled.

"There is no denying that you aren't mine and Lily's daughter, your mother would be so proud of you." He smiled a bit.

"I love you, dad."

"I love you too, Daisy."
