Judith leaves school late, the sun was setting and she was still putting stuff back in her locker.

The school is silent. Her every movement echoed on the walls throughout the halls. Judith knew... or thought she was still alone in the school. Finally she picks up her bag and starts walking towards the exit.

Judith's twin Judas was always out of the house doing his own thing. She never sees him around, and whenever he is around they only exchange a few words. It was like they were strangers living in the same house. Yet Judas wasn't always like that. Him and Judith would always be by each others side. Judas would protect Judith from little things, like swings or bikes. Yet one day he just drifted off. Judith never knew why, but she just assumed it was because of her.

Walking out the doors, Judith's thoughts stop when she sees Miles chilling on a rock outside the entrance of the school. Yet this time Miles was alone.

The night is cool, a slight breeze through the warm air. It was a small indication that fall was coming. The trees turning into various colors, and clear skys. That's what Judith thinks about instead of worrying about Miles.

Judith starts to walk away from the school when Miles gets up and walks in front of her.

"Why are you out here alone without your brother girly? Dont you know its dangerous to be out here alone." Miles asked with an amused smirk.

"I should ask you the same question Miles." Judith replied plainly with a straight face.

Miles sighed, "Ash never comes home anymore. He is probably over at some chicks house sleeping over." Miles stretches his arm then looks back at Judith. "Well it can't be helped. Come on."

Judith raises her eyebrow as Miles starts walking off. "What?"

Miles turns toward Judith, "I'd be dammed if I let a girl walk home alone at this time of night. Even if you are a Lennon."

Judith rolls her eyes in annoyance and walks past Miles. In the corner of her eye she sees Miles following her. Huffing in annoyance Judith turns to Miles and crosses her arms.

"Look Miles, I am thankful for that offer but if either one of our parents knew we even spoke a letter to each other our heads would be on a stick. Our ancestors Rosa and Atlas were dumb to continue their grudge for so long, and now we are fated to hate each other for eternity." Judith snaped.

Miles nods, "I understand. Damn what did Rosa do to Atlas jeez your family sucks."

Judith raised her eyebrows, "Rosa?!? It was Atlas that slapped her for no reason!"

"WELL ROSA MUST HAVE BEEN A BITCH AND PROVOKED THAT BASTARD!!" Miles yelled.

Judith glared at Miles. "Your parents haven't told you the story have they?"

"What story?"

With a sigh, Judith turns around and starts walking home. "Go home Miles. After all we Lennon's are the problem."

That night when both Judith and Miles were in their room. A small glow illuminated from their ring finger. It was bright red and startled them both, yet fear engulfed both of them when they found out that the red string of fate is starting to become visible.
