Bio: kiryu was the one of a leader of a small group that protects Kyoto from any danger. He was close friends with Gutamoro, or at least that's what he thought. He later met and saved a blind woman name Hakuchō, which later they follow in love and got together. He later on travel away from Kyoto to bring Hakuchō back home, where was later stuck in the middle of the great turf war. He later met capn cuttlefish and decides to help them fight in the war. He later gets married to Hakuchō after she was pregnant. He then became like brothers to aaron (tadayoshi grandfather) and he became one of the squidbeak splatoon agency member. After the war was over Terrence was born and he had to return back to Kyoto where he promise Hakuchō he will visit her as much as he can and he left behind his katana for his son to wield on next. Once he return to Kyoto, to find out Gutamoro has already taken over Kyoto while he was gone. Kiryu and Gutamoro has to duel, but kiryu lost after kieko help Gutamoro cheat, which end up killing kiryu. Kiryu death was later told to his wife and the other squidbeak agency.
Kiryu original name was aooni, which mean green oni in Japanese but I thought it was stupid so I changed into kiryu and have the name be like his nickname for his followers to make fun of him. He is also a terrible liar, and hates when people call him aooni. His favorite food Sukiyaki, but his least favorite food is bread.
