Kaze: What's your problem dude?!

Kaze was currently on the floor rubbing his head as he looked at the red haired figure standing in front of him. Kaze slowly got up, as the other boy standing in front of him began to collect the chaos emeralds quickly.

Kaze: Hey!

The boy in blue was quick to act as he spin dashed towards the boy in red, knocking him down.

???: You little-!

The boy in red, was interrupted as Kaze gave him a solid kick to the face, sending him flying as he crashed into a nearby wall and dropped the green chaos emerald.

???: Damn it!

The boy in red then grabbed a huge boulder and chucked it at Kaze and Amai as they both rolled out of the way, leaving enough time for the boy in red to escape.

Kaze and Amai dusted themselves off as they got up from the ground.

Kaze: That jerk...who even was that?

Amai: I don't know Kaze...but he did seem familiar...his temper and red hair I mean.

Amai replied as that red-haired boy was indeed a human, and if that were the case, then there was a possibility that the human they just encountered was indeed Iwao, their lost friend that was placed in one of the pods along with him and Kaze.

Amai: 'If that was Iwao...then why would he attack us...?'

Amai thought to himself with dread evident on his face, but was brought out of it as Kaze went up to him, chaos emerald in hand.

Amai: Kaze...

Kaze: Hm? What is it buddy?

Amai: I...I think...I think that guy was Iwao...

Kaze looked shocked and slightly shook.

Kaze: W-What...?

Amai: It's just that guy...reminds me so much of him...and even acts like him...if that is Iwao...why would he attack us?! Does he not remember us or something?!

Kaze: Hey! Hey! Amai, calm down! If this guy really is Iwao then that must mean that Eggman convinced him into thinking we're some kind of threat to the island or something. Whatever Iwao is protecting must be pretty important. But we won't get anywhere if we just stand there, come on.

Kaze stated as he super peeled out and charged forward as Amai flew behind him.

The duo began to make their way through the island as they looked around, seeing all kinds of things like badniks that resembled monkeys dropping items down onto them in an attempt to hurt them. But the two boys would simply spin attack them in order to prevent that from even happening. They didn't want to lose any rings they may have collected.

Kaze: I gotta say, aside from the constant badniks that now inhabit this place, Iwao was sure living it up wouldn't you say?

Amai: Most certainly, I know Iwao was...um...pretty gullible before but trusting eggman seems to be...you know...

Kaze: I get what you mean buddy...but-whoah!!

A groups of badniks resembling rhinos immediately charged at the duo as Kaze and Amai took different routes to split up.

Kaze: Come and catch me if you can you bunch of tin-cans.

Kaze would stop and start spinning around in a circle very fast before destroying the badniks with spin kicks as little animals began to make their way out of the badniks as they all gathered around Kaze, in a way to show their gratitude.

Kaze: Don't worry you guys...this will all be over soon.

The blue boy would look on in worry as he began to think to himself.

Kaze: 'What are you planning now Doctor? What's his end goal here...? Tricking Iwao into thinking we're the enemies...he took the emeralds so that alone isn't a good sign...'

He then sighed.

Kaze: 'Whatever it is...I can only hope it isn't so bad.'

Now we cut over to Amai.

Our little brainiac has just done disassembling the badniks that were on his tail and landed back on the ground before noticing that there was a tall boulder blocking a path.

Seeing it, he wondered what it was about and so he spin dashed towards the rock, breaking it and revealing an open cave-like area.

And in the center, was a glowing giant ring.

Amai: What the...? Are these giant rings all over the island? Wait a second...

The fox boy began to put the pieces together.

Amai: If Iwao ran off with the emeralds he probably didn't give them to Eggman...but instead placed them in these giant rings. That's just a hunch anyway...here goes nothing.

He then jumped inside the ring and vanished without a trace.

Kaze continued making his way around angel island he either destroyed a badnik with a spin dash or a kick. He kept speeding around until he saw a certain red haired boy getting ready to chuck a red chaos emerald into a giant ring.

Kaze: Hey! Iwao!

Iwao: Huh? What're you-ack?!

Kaze delivered a sideways spinning kick on Iwao's cheek which in turn launched him away from the giant ring.

Kaze: You must have lost your mind pal, what the hell is wrong with you?! Siding with Eggman?!

Iwao: Oh you have a lot of nerve saying that to me! That fat man said the complete opposite! You and Amai were the ones who attacked him first and stole these emeralds from him! I guess you changed these past 10,000 years huh?!

Kaze gritted his teeth and charged at Iwao as the redhead braced himself, the two now locking hands as they head butted each other.

Kaze: Tch...changed my ass. I saved the world twice from that mad man, did you not see that giant shuttle falling in the sky?! Eggman is tricking you Iwao, he made that thing to take over the planet and wipe out a new race that now roams the earth! As far as you know, he could be plotting to take over your little island and whatever else you're protecting. Don't you get that?!

Kaze shouted at his friend as Iwao was silent for a good few seconds.

Iwao: ...If that's the case then I'll deal with him accordingly. All I know is that you and Amai are a threat to my island and what I'm supposed to protect. So if getting rid of the both of you will help protect it, then so be it...

Kaze: . . .Then I'll just have to knock some sense into you then....Iwao.

The boy was quick to act as he used ones of his legs to kick Iwao in the chin going in an upward direction.

And in doing so, made the knucklehead drop the red and dark blue chaos emeralds as Kaze spin jumped into the air and grabbed them.

Kaze: Gotcha!

Iwao: So that's how it is huh? I don't want to fight you Kaze, but you leave me no choice!

Kaze: If beating the crap out of you is what it takes to stop the doctor from doing whatever he's doing then so be it Iwao! I made a promise to my family to keep living...And I can't do that if Eggman takes over!

Iwao: GRAAAAHGH!!!!

The guardian shouted in outrage as he punched the ground, causing a giant boulder to pop out of the ground as he proceeded to punch the boulder, launching it toward Kaze as he rolled out of the way and began to spin dash towards him.

But the red head was quit to catch him with and hold him in place.

WITH ONE HAND!

Iwao: Sorry...Sokudo. But this conversation and fight, is over!

Iwao exclaimed as he punched then Kaze so hard he flew backwards to where the giant ring was previously before he went through the ring and vanished on the spot.

As the redhead starred at where the blue boy was before he vanished. He dropped the green emerald and just now recently dropped the red and dark blue one, meaning he just lost three emeralds. Unless he wanted to count the one he threw into the previous giant ring.

But even then, he couldn't help but wonder...

Iwao: What if he's right...?

As the guardian of Angel Island thought this...he wasn't aware of the fact that the Doctor was indeed planning something more as we can see Eggman smiling menacingly while staring at the master emerald.

Things were about to get ugly as the Angel Island incident was about to commence.

AND FINALLY...I AM BACK! AND AS YOU CAN SEE I DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING NEW WITH THE SONIC 3 AND KNUCKLES ARC. BASICALLY, I FIGURED WHY NOT MAKE KAZE AND IWAO GET 4 EMERALDS IN ACTS 1 AND 2 OF ANGEL ISLAND ZONE AND LATER ON RECEIVE THE OTHER THREE IN HYDROCITY? I MEAN I HAVE SEEN PLENTY OF PEOPLE DO THAT BEFORE SO WHY NOT? AND WITH THIS...THE ARC HAS TRULY BEGUN. I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING PATIENT AND WAITING FOR HOWEVER LONG IT WAS SINCE I LAST UPDATED THIS STORY. I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT.
