Everything might seem happy and cheery around Poe most of the times it is but when we are in public...Every one always say how we are the perfect couple and we were meant to be..if only they could see him past his famous smirk and attitude. It's been months since we started dating and we decided to live together about a month or two.

Poe was the sweetest man i ever met but everything changed when he arrived one day and has ever been cold and distant towards me.We would often argue and wouldnt even speak to each other for days,i wish he would go back the way he was.

"You seem very happy with him." my friend once said to me. "You two should already get married." many if people would also agree to that.I wish i could just leave him but i can't...I can't leave you Poe...You're giving me a million reasons to let you go..

I sit down on the couch and begin to cry by myself.I used to be so happy.There was a loud knock on my door so i raced to it and opened it.

"I thought i told you to not lock it." Poe said walking towards me and going inside of our room. Before he leaves again i call put his name. He comes back to the small living room but doesnt meet my eyes.

"P-Poe i think w-we should..umm..never mind." I begin to stuuter and tremble scared of what he might say.

"(Y/N) If you have nothing to say then don't waste my time." He walked past me again ans stopped at the door, "I'm leaving on a important mission so i'll be busy,stop crying and grow up." Poe said before forcefully closing the door.

We used to go on missions together too..what should i do?

Deciding i was done with this yet confused i decided to ask the general for help.Lucky me she was right outside, "Leia i need your help?" she turned towards me and smiled.

"What is it dear?"

Should i tell her? yeah maybe it's for the best.I took a deep breathe and spoke, "Poe hasnt been acting the same for a couple of weeks and i'm worried,we used to be so happy but i feel like i'm lost and i feel l-like i should-"

"Leave him?" she asked.

Nodding my head i knew what she meant by it,"(Y/N) you're young and have a life ahead if you..you should meet someone else."

Leia spent a good few hours giving me advice when a few X wings came back and once they landed one of Poe's friend came running towards us. "(Y/N)!" he shouted and looked upset.

"What is it?" Leia asked him.

The young man shook his head and spoke,"I am sorry but..Poe..has joined the first order..he betrayed us.Some of us made it back some didn't."

I looked over to Leia who quickly wrapped her arms around me i did the same and began to cry again.He was probably bored with me..i wasnt strong enough to save you Poe...please forgive me.
