I smile down at the book in my hand already absorbed in the story when I look up and see Finn,Rey,Poe and Rose together in a group talking and having fun. I over hear Rose again telling the story about how we infiltrated the First Orders ship and our flight to Canto Bight. I smile remembering that we met each other there and she escaped to join the resistance while I couldn't and they held me in that place as a slave. Everyday cleaning the entire casino after everyone left and serving them drinks, those alcoholic idiots drowning in their own despair. Rose and her sister Paige, we used to hang a lot together until they both escaped but i'm glad I saw Rose again.

I never thought I would see her again and leave that fifthly rich place now I have her and new friends, I even began to help Rey with a few studies about the jedi's since i'm obsessed with books. Since i am fascinated with them Rose would come over by my room and tell me stories of her own.

Rose is everything I can ask for in a girl,smart,brave,smart and cute. I admit i am a bit jealous of Finn since he now spends most of his time with her. I clench my book and heard Rose shout my name when she spotted me, "(Y/N) I thought you were in the library again. If i knew i should have invited you with us." Rose says pointing over to her friends.

I smile understanding her, "There's no need to apologize,Rose. It's my fault i didn't tell you i was out here." she smiles back and takes my hand "I'm so happy you finally have a chance to come out." i take my hand back knowing well that the rest are staring at us.

"Yes, I decided it was time to have some fresh air." i say lying to her that the only reason I came out was to spot her and ask her to go out with me but she's with her friends. "Would you like to join us?"

I look behind her and glare at Finn, "I would love to..but I have things to do." lying again. She looks down,sad that I rejected her offer. I mean i'm friends with her but i'm looking the opportunity to tell her that i like her when no one's around. I nervously run my fingers on my hair and see her turn her back already marching away.

"Rose." I call her and stand up from my spot and hold a single rose out to her and when she turns her back she looks surprised yet curious "I was meaning to tell you this once we were alone..every time I see you you make me happier and a better person, i've never met a girl like you. I've always liked you Rose and i hope you do too so, Will you join me for lunch today?" Rose stares at me for a minute before slowly nodding her head.

"I would love to..yes!" she excitedly says and lunges herself towards me and kisses my cheeks and kisses me straight on my lips. I hear gasping from behind us and I open my eyes to see Finn surprised.

"Well i guess i'll see you guys later." Rose says waving to her friends before grabbing my arms and leading me so we can have lunch.
