"Alright class be sure to remember everything I just told you. It'll be up on the quiz tomorrow." The teacher said to us each but my mind was else where. I couldn't help but stare at Poe Dameron who was easily the class favorite and according to ,any girls handsome which was no lie. His charm and stubbornness only made him cuter.

"Kelly!"

My head shot up and saw the teacher frowning at me, "Make sure yo study extra harder." she said and left me. I gathered my notes and headed to the group of girls who followed Poe around. I had the benefit to be friends with Poe since we were five never thought i would be that lucky to hang out with him every day,but the girls were extremely jealous.

"Poe!" I shouted but the girls talked even louder and one shoved me down to the ground and the group stood still. A shadow appareled in front and Poe was kneeling in front of me and gathered my notes, "I'm so sorry Kelly..how about we hang out for dinner tonight." Poe asked and took both my hands helping me up.

"I would love to." I agreed and heard the girls in the back whine.

"Great! see you then."

I sighed and watched him leave trying to not fall away from the group of girls who constantly followed him around. Poe and I were studying to do the same. To become the best pilots in the Resistance..hopefully that dream will come true. We worked extra hard for that and they began to teach us how to fix an X-Wing fist before flying on.

My parents would be the ones listening to me ramble on about Poe thinking that it was just a silly crush and that it'll pass by time. Since we got even closer both our parents began to hang out with each other.

I braided my dirty blonde hair and dressed nicely to try and impress Poe.

I made my way over to his house and saw him waiting for m outside looking fine as ever, "Kelly..you look beautiful." he said with a smile.

"Thank you Poe.You look nice yourself." I blushed and felt him grab my hand.

Together we made it to a small restaurant they built recently and Poe decided to come here since he heard the food here was delicious. "I'll be right back..don't go anyway there's something i've been meaning to say." Poe said leaving with a wink after.

Is he going to return his feelings?! I began to panic a little and was running my fingers through my hair when someone splashed me with a drink. I opened my eyes and saw that group of girls once more, "Oops looks like little Kelly was something on her."

"Looks like she's on a date with Poe Dameron.."

"Here i'll help you clean it out." one girl said and poured another drink on me. I looked down at my dress and began to cry and my breathing stopped when I saw Poe approaching me.

"Poe!" the girls shouted at the sight of him.

I turned my back and began to walk away when Poe shouted my name but I didn't turn back, "Kelly! Please wait up-"

"Stay away from me Poe! I don't want you to look at me right now." I hid my face and Poe stepped closer and held my hands.

"I don't care if you look hideous..I love you okay? I don't feel the same for any of those girls." I heard them in the back gasp and crying. Poe stared down at me and leaned down to kiss my lips.

"How about you change into something else and we can head to another place to eat?" I nodded my head and kissed Poe again, "Thank you Poe..mind helping me out with the quiz later?"

"Absolutely"

Poe smiled and wrapped his arms around as we began to head back home.
