Warning: if you have not seen Star Trek Beyond there will be SPOILERS in this chapter. And when I say spoilers I mean MAJOR SPOILERS. Now I don't want to be the reason for spoiling it for someone. I love you all and wouldn't want to do that to any of you. I love you all too much. Just warning you ahead of time. Also the song only fits for when the ship is being attacked lmao. And I feel like it'd fit something like this. It kinda fits it. It fit it while I was writing it. Also with headphones the song is amazing😍💎

Zaylee's POV:
Kirk tried to make a peace treaty with an alien race. As usual they always sent us to do stupid things like that. After that we arrived in Yorktown. I walked to our quarters where Carol was. She smiled towards me and I took Milo with me as I went to get Pavel. "Ready?" I asked. "Wery." He replied. We walked off of the ship and Milo was in awe. Yorktown was more beautiful than I had expected. Pavel said "I can't believe you too haven't been here. It's amazing. Wery beautiful. Look at zat!" He grabbed Milo's arm and they looked around at the fountains below. I giggled and Milo said "is there a gift shop here?" I nodded and pulled him towards it. Milo picked up a plushie and said "can I have this?" It was a small plush dog.

Pavel said "you vant zat?" Milo nodded eagerly and Pavel sighed. "Come on." He said as he went to pay for it. I smiled at them. Yorktown brought memories of my uncle back to me. I smiled and Pavel walked back over with Milo by his side. I ruffled Milo's hair as we continued to walk around. Pavel smiled at me and kissed my cheek. I giggled and said "I love you." "I love you too." Pavel replied. Milo stared at the flying cars above our heads. "Ice cream!" Milo said. He ran towards the stand and I followed. I picked him up making him squeal. He giggled into the crook of my neck. "You want vanilla?" I asked. Milo nodded and I handed it to him. Pavel smiled down at his son and Milo ate the ice cream.

I looked at Pavel who smiled really big at me.

Milo hummed as he ate his ice cream and I leaned in to kiss Pavel's lips. He kissed me passionately and Milo said "cotton candy and candy apples!" He ran over to the stand and I bought him more sweets. He sat down next to us and happily ate them.

Pavel said "I don't vanna go back to ze zhip." I kissed his cheek and said "we have to baby." "But zat meant I have to work. And I don't vanna." Pavel said with a pout. I pushed his curls aside and said "it'll be fine. Don't worry." We all got messages on our comms to come back to the ship. We hurried back and I have Milo to Carol. We were going to the Nebula. A place where there was no help if we broke down or someone tried to blow us up. As usual someone did try to kill us. Before we even reached the damn planet someone came after us. I was in medical, doing my duties. When there was a boom in the ship. I gasped and the ship was beeping and groaning. Alarms went off and the ship went dark. My eyes widened as I realized that this was really happening. The ship was going to be tore apart.

"Kirk!" I screamed. Kirk said "Zaylee stay calm. I'm sending officers to find people that are hurt. I'll look for Milo." "I'm coming with you." I replied. Bones ran off somewhere and I met up with Kirk and we went into the corridors. The enemies were everywhere. Only one thing was running through my head.

Milo

Milo's POV:
The ship made really scary noises and Carol held me close to her. I looked around and heard things boom. Carol stood up and opened the door and then closed it really quick. "Get under the bed Milo. Now." She said. I grabbed my dog and hid under the bed. Carol went somewhere and the door burst open. Someone walked in. Whoever it was had really loud footsteps. I backed away from the front of the bed and made sure they couldn't see me. I cried softly and heard Carol. They threw her on the ground and began talking. I moved closer to the front of the bed and saw two people talking to each other. They had their backs turned to us. Carol put her finger over her mouth. "Shh." She said. I nodded and looked up at the men. They weren't human. Mommy and papa had told me about people like them. People that were bad and wanted to destroy the ship. I backed away and Carol cried softly. They had a weapon. It was a stick with a sharp end. "Please don't kill me." Carol said. "You work for the Federation and Starfleet. You must be killed." One said. Carol had tears streaming down her face. They aimed the weapon over chest and stabbed her. Carol gasped and my mouth dropped. Blood dripped from her mouth and she coughed. She turned her head towards me and I clutched my dog. While the men weren't looking Carol said things to me. "I love you Milo." She mouthed. I nodded while crying and I covered my mouth. While her head was turned towards me they stabbed her again. This time in the head. A breathy gasp escaped her lips and she blinked a few times. Blood came out of her eyelids and I cried softly. The men walked out and I cried. "Carol?" I asked. She laid in front of me. I clutched my dog close to me and I cried. I heard growling and shooting. It only made me cry harder. I heard footsteps and saw two people standing in the room. "Oh my god." A girl said. "Shh it's ok." A man said. "They took him Kirk he's gone." I heard. "Mommy?" I asked. "Milo where are you?" She asked. "Under the bed." I replied. I crawled out from under the bed and my mom picked me up and hugged me. "Oh Milo!" She said. She hugged me and didn't let me go. "Hi uncle Kirk." I said. Uncle Kirk smiled towards me and said "hey buddy."

Zaylee's POV:
I held my son in my arms. He didn't have a scratch on him. But Carol was dead on the floor. Kirk frowned as he looked at Carol's dead body. Kirk said "you and Milo get somewhere safe." I nodded and set him down. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him through the ship. I turned a corner and an alien landed in front of me.

I gasped and he said "where is captain James T. Kirk?" My eyes widened and I said "I don't know." I pushed Milo behind me and he clutched my arm. "Where can I find him?" He asked. "I don't know." I said again. The alien looked behind me and aimed his gun at me. "If you can't tell me where he is I'll kill you." He said. "Sir-" I began to speak but he interrupted me. "Krall! My name is Krall." He said. My eyes widened and I said "Krall. I don't know where the captain is." Krall grabbed me and Milo screamed in fear. He held me by my throat and I said "your gonna lose. Even if you kill me Kirk will kill you. And so will my husband." Krall laughed. His laugh was terrifying. Milo cried and backed to the wall. An alien moved close to him and he screamed hysterically. "Don't touch him!" I screamed. Kirk ran around the corner and said "here! I'm here!" Krall dropped me and I gasped for air. Milo ran over and hugged me. The alien pushed past us and everyone was evacuating the ship. I picked up Milo and ran. I didn't stop till I got to the pods. I got into a pod with Milo and got off the ship.

"What about papa?" He asked. My eyes watered as I looked at the Enterprise being destroyed. "He'll find his way off." I replied. I knew Pavel probably wouldn't make it off. There were pods everywhere but I wasn't sure if Pavel made it out. All you could see was the Enterprise falling to the planet.

I was terrified, terrified that I'd never see Pavel again. I didn't know what to think. We'd never be able to get back to earth. There's no help. We were going to be stranded here.

Kirk's POV:
I got in a pod and landed down on the planet. I looked around and saw a pod not far from me. I stumbled around and walked towards the pod. I opened it up to reveal Chekov. "Chekov." I said. He was out cold. I shook him a little and he pushed me away. "Get the hell up." I said. I shook him and Chekov sat up and said "aye!" I looked around and saw Kalara with us as well. I rolled my eyes as I saw her. Chekov got dressed in his attire and he looked around. "Have you seen Zaylee or Milo keptain?" He asked. I shook my head and said "only on the ship." Pavel nodded and his breath hitched. He looked down and said "vhere are they keptain?" "When I saw Zaylee she had Milo and ran towards the pods. But I'm not sure if she made it there. They were everywhere on the ship." I replied. Chekov looked up at me and then looked down.

"No I lost her. I lost her." Chekov said. My eyes widened and Chekov ran his fingers through his fingers through his curly hair.

I said "Chekov she isn't gone. She's a fighter. Trust me." Chekov shook his head and said "it vas too bad this time. I promised her everything vould be ok. And now zat didn't happen. She's hurt somewhere or dying." I watched the 24 year old break down in front of me. Tears streamed down his face and I hugged him. "Keptain I failed her." I rubbed his back and said "Pavel she isn't dead. I promise." Pavel wiped his tears and then looked up at me. He sniffled and tried to catch his breath.

"It's going to be ok. We'll find her. We can make that our main priority after we see if there's anyone in the wreck of the Enterprise." I said to him. He looked at me and then looked down. "I'm afraid I lost her." He said. "Look at me Pavel you didn't lose her. I promise." I said softly. Pavel stared into my eyes and then looked back down.

"We gotta be strong. Come on." I said. Pavel nodded and wiped his tears. Kalara stared at us and I said "this is all your fault!" She pleaded for me not to kill her but I was beyond angry. All I knew was that we were trapped and probably weren't going to make it out of this alive.
