You left me here like a chalk outline,
On the sidewalk waiting for the rain,
To wash away,
Wash away

Will's body was paralyzed to the bed. His feet and arms were frozen in their stance while his mind was spinning in cartwheels. The kiss against his cheek still contained warmth, even from a son of Hades. His freckles began to dazzle with pure light. All he rasped was a simple, "N-Nico....." Then the dark boy sprinted from the cabin. Many demigods were as stiff as Will, others mouths were gaping in suspense. By now Will should have been racing after the broken son of Hades ,yet his heart was pounding with so much adrenaline mixed with excitement he could barley function.

With one sly motion he proceeded to stumble out of the door to snatch a glimpse of Nico sprinting towards his cabin. Dark clouds collided with black dust started swirling around the young demigod. Immediately Will summoned his loudest cry, "Nico! Don't!" This seemed only to channel Nico's feelings and within seconds of Will lunging for Nico- the son of Hades dissolved into darkness.

Will faltered with his legs causing him to collapse into the grass where Nico once stood. The air was the only thing Will was clutching to his heart. Why didn't he react faster? Perhaps Nico would still be here, entangled in Will's arms. Will imagined the son of Hades cold skin connecting with his internal heat.

Nico didn't deserve this nagging in his brain. That's why Will was so determined to save Nico's will to live. He desired to be that goal for Nico's life. He would convince the young boy that perhaps this world needed him for some purpose. People cared about him... Will cared about him. Now he was morphing into the shadows, soon to become one. Within days Nico was destined to fade away into the emptiness of the shadows. That was the reason for Will's orders and requirements.

"He'll be fine ,Will. Wherever he is... maybe it's for the best." the charm speaking of Piper's voice rang through Will's ears. Normally, deciphering the charm speaking from her common tone would be difficult yet he found it abnormally easy. "He'll be back soon enough. He's probably just went to visit his father or Hazel. We'll call Hazel over Iris message and ask her."

"No. You don't understand." Will scurried to his feet to stretch over Piper's height. He gazed deep into her chocolate orbs. His fists were clenched while his teeth were grinding against each other. "He'll be dead within the next week. He's not coming back. Ever." Will barked but was soon shoved away from her presence by Jason. The other demigods scattered while Percy and Annabeth roamed over to the scene.

Several demigods scrutinized as Will was practically bursting out as his fellow friends. Will Solace was a well known peace keeper and and extremely happy character. Still, rage and anger boiled beneath his core.

"Dude, back off." Jason muttered sidestepping in between the son of Apollo and daughter of Aphrodite.

"You people don't even care! You could care less if he fell into Tarturus!" Will hollered approaching Jason with rage laced into his pupils. "Nico cared about all of you! Now your plan is to just wait for him to arrive in the next couple of weeks?! He'll be long gone by next week!"

"Calm down. Just explain and-"

"Forget it. Like you'd care!" Will muttered swiveling away and dashing towards the lake. Perhaps he could find a place to just sprawl out, then ponder about the whole scenario- Nico was gone... and it was all his fault.

The beach weaves rippled onto the sand, delivering the grains in spirals. He kicked off his shoes then wandered down the edge of the beach allowing the cold water splash against his skin. The sun was begging to descend from the sky. Sundown. Will, along with his father- Apollo, were always delightful with random things that just caused them to simply smile. Except every Apollo child or sun god has a reason that they burst into total rage. Sure, it was unlike Will... but Nico Di Angelo was his reason.

After feeling dread for himself, Will finally decided to shoot around. Part of him was yanking him towards the entrance of Camp Half-Blood so he could escape to search for the son of Hades ,yet he considered that fact that dragon guarding Thalia's tree may witness him sneaking away and attempt to deny his quest.

Will noticed the empty space where Nico used to shuffle behind, sometimes mumbling to himself. The gap was a heart brake for the son of Apollo. The desire to replace the space was all he could conjure as a plan. Trudging towards the arena, his sister, Hannah, approached with linked arms with a new girl.

Bright blue orbs creased through the new girls pupils and black hair stretched to her waist, naturally wavy. She resembled Thalia in a way, despite the ornery personality. Will rushed to their direction. "Hey, Hannah! Who's this?"

"Oh, hey Will! This is Alice Mason. New daughter of Hermes. Seems like I'm her escort." Hannah beamed, mush like Apollo. Will chuckled a bit delivering a wave to the Hermes daughter who hastily returned the gesture.

"Have you checked on Kenzie yet?" Will recalled the current girl Hannah was assigned to- and was partially falling for. Hannah hadn't admitted her feelings towards her patient ,yet everyone noticed their feelings... despite their own bickering.

"Gods!" she exclaimed biting her lip containing her curses. "She's probably waiting for me. Alice, how about you just come with me till we can get this situated." Hannah rambled on jerking Alice into the direction of the infirmary.

"How about I just show her around?" Will offered before Hannah got the chance to dislocate Alice's arm.

"Your sure?"

"Positive. Now go take care of your girlfriend!" Hannah was already bolting through the yard.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Hannah protested.

"Yet!" Will replied allowing a smirk to plaster his lips. Hannah halted before slamming into the infirmary. She whirled in Will's direction slowly lifting her middle finger. Will stuck out his tongue while yanking Alice away form the scene.

"Some sister, huh?" Alice giggled lacing beside Will. She placed a random strand behind her ear and began fiddling with her jeans. Never had Will noted how girls act around guys. He never seemed interested. Part of him believed he was bisexual sometimes ,but the other was determined he was fully gay. Not that he'd ever mention it to anyone.

"Hannah's nice, unless your stuck in a cabin with her everyday and have to cooperate with her." Alice snickered a bit then stashing away something in her pocket. Will scanned the action then responded, "what's that?"

"What's what?"

"That you shoved in your pocket." Will pointed in the direction indicating its presence.

"It's um..." her voice faded with secrecy. Will was beginning to question this girl. Possibly it was a daughter of Hermes thing. "it's a poem I found. It arrived on my bed assigned to me. Suddenly, it was folded neatly on my pillow this morning. Last night was my first night staying here."

"Can I see it?" Will asked outstretching his hand. Alice reluctantly placed it in the boys palm.

"I've been trying to interpret it all day. You won't have much luck either. It's been written so... odd." she explained as Will unwrapped the note. He examined the writing then read aloud:

"A boy seeks his heart,
Though he must depart.
But to conceive his love,
A sun will return above.
Another boy will diminish,
Not allowing a quest to finish.
Young girl by their side,
May be only woven by pride.
Journey to the land of no return,
Or the young boy will rot and burn."

The poem seemed to rhyme unlike his father's lack of skills, yet the voice inside Will's head couldn't stop screaming, "PROPHECY!!!" Will's head indicated the correct answer, yet he desired only to deny it and continue on with his pathetic life.

"We must take this to Chiron. Possibly Rachel may be able to inform us on what it's trying to say. Oracles always have a good handle on these type of things. It's intriguing though that you discovered it on your pillow. Your father might have delivered it to you- being the messenger for the gods and all. My accusation is a prophecy, I just hope I'm wrong."

Who's had a rough weak? Who wants to lay at home and read? Who wants to never escape the house? Who's too lazy I study for a Spanish test? *raises hand for all of the above*

Sorry for the feels at the beginning. Poor Nico :,(

Currently I'm working on both a Percabeth and another Solangelo fanfic. The Percabeth one might consume some time, although my new Solangelo one is looking fantastic. Here's a mini summary I've jotted down:

Nico Di Angelo is abused my his father in many extreme ways to execute the recent heartbreaks. His sister, Bianca, is suffering from a mental disease and is convinced Nico is sexually abused because he enjoys it. She reports him to the Nazi's claiming he's homosexual, which is an abomination to the Germans. Nazi's confiscate him from his house then proceeding to deliver him off to a concentration camp. Among the Nazi soldiers, is a praised soldier by the name ,Will Solace. Will's provided opportunities because of Hitler's obsession of blue eyes, blonde hair. Will must abide to these conditions and accept these offers so that he may obtain money for his poor family. Nico's is informed that he may work off his debt and be granted freedom. Except there's a certain German soldier holding him back, and Nico Di Angelo can't resist.

What do you think? I've been reading about the Holocaust and I thought it was a wonderful idea! Idk I just felt like writing it :)
