14 Andromedae (14 And), also named Veritas (where there is truth), is an orange giant star situated approximately 258 light-years away in the constellation of Andromeda. 14 And is orbited by 14 Andromedae b (14 And b), also named Spe (where there is hope), an extrasolar planet approximately 249 light-years away.
