Under Me
Talen never was careful about getting seen by a human. He didn't care if he put his whole species at risk if humans found out of their existence because of him. He didn't care. He loved humans. He found them extremely fascinating and always wanted to learn more about them. And the more he learned, the more he wanted to actually meet one. And, eventually, he did. Dane always loved to swim and go canoeing out in the ocean's waters. And he loved learning about the different types of fish that swam the dark waters of the ocean floor. What interested him the most was the mer-lores. Different breeds of the mythical species called "merpeople" that swam the ocean. He kept a book of mythological beings and lores, the page of merpeople marked. He read all about the different breeds, one catching his eyes especially: The merfairy. This breed has huge wing-like fins sticking out from slightly over their shoulder blades. They have fin- like ear shells and two fins on the side of their tail. They have a small fin right above their two main fins at the end of their tails(see drawing on Chapter 0- Epilogue- by: Chetah8421 on Pinterest). Talen was a merfairy. His tail- as well as all of his fins- was a light green colour that faded into an almost white colour. He had thin, metal framed glasses- non prescription, of course- that he had found near the ocean's floor. He thought they fit his calm and smart personality perfectly, and he thought they helped frame his face more than just his hair did. He felt superior to the other merpeople. He felt like any man who swam up to him would fall for his looks.
