The Volkov
Mayla Volkov is a seventeen year old girl who has no idea what kind of a man her father really was. The last time she saw him was when she was seven years old when he said goodbye to her as he left for Russia. Before he left, he told her to stay strong, and watch who she trusted. With those last words, she was left to wonder where exactly he left off to and why he left in the first place. Over time, when she turned fifteen years old, an accident happened that left her family dead and her one and only friend to go missing. She was left devastated with loss, but ended up being adopted by a family in Denver Colorado. She lives with them for around two years, but with scars that left her trust broken, she still stays a good distance from anyone that might pose harm to her. With her trust broken and her true family gone, her curiosity stays intact as she decides to look for her father and hope that he may still be alive. On her journey that begins as she turns eighteen, she is forced to partner up with another to help her to reach her goal in learning about her fathers past. She may not be happy with it, but she must either learn to trust this adventures young man, or leave him to deal with the consequences that come from befriending the daughter of The Volkov.…
