She doesn't know anyone and quite frankly, she would like it to stay that way. Plagued by her past, Alex just wants to make it through the rest of her childhood without getting too close to anyone. Kata has lived in Dripping Springs all her life. She knows almost everyone but at the same time really knows no one. With the emotional abuse she's put through every day, Kata doesn't have time to befriend too many people even if all she really wants is someone to hold onto and never let go of. No, she doesn't have time for that because she always has to make herself better.However, when the two girls cross paths they somehow become friends, though Alex might see Kata as a little more than that.
