A verse novel that weaves through the woes and wonders of life and experiences - metaphoric to love. It redefines finality to the point that it becomes more like a beginning to second chances. Chase is determined to get her, despite knowing the impossibilities that come through. The more he changed things, the more the patterns remained the same. He believes changing the hows of his desires might change the whats, but would it really? Desirée is more of a wallflower, staying to herself. Always committed to un-cherished relationships, she's only desired as long as she's gone. When she's always chased as a pursuit, but never as a keeper, how long would history repeat itself til she's really loved?A perspective story on how parting ways can reshape another's destiny. The story transitions between two perceptions, hence categorized into Volumes I and II.Trigger Warning:This book contains themes of depression, anxiety, and alcohol and drug use. Scarred Pages

Scarred Pages

Barren lands of heartbreaks, inscribed with words like wounds and painted with emotions like bruises, depicts the heart of a Poetess. Scarred pages can be conceptualised as those unaddressed letters buried under dust in a drawer, written solely to their future lover, but instead may end up as ashes inside a fireplace. These poems are based on real life events, and are actually a concept album for my whoever future soulmate would be, only if they ever find it. Therefore it contains every predicted possibility of love that could fit into one of those stencils described in my poems. These are also poetry prompts for the words given by @WattpadPoetry for Versification 2023. Please don't copy or steal my work, I really work hard on these 😭All rights reserved. ®Rankings:#56 in poetry#126 in poem…

1. Amby's Award 2023 Top Pick2. Featured on @WattpadPoetry in the Love Tides Reading list. 3. Featured on @StoriesUndiscovered in the Epic Poetry Corner Reading List It portrays the collaged feelings of temporariness and it's permanence.Mismatch flame, literary means the opposite of a twin flame, but not in the soulmate sense of opposite. Just like the right puzzle to hug the other but forming the wrong picture in hindsight. Like fire and water signs, forming nothingness after mergence. Like matching a flame for the match to die through the mismatch. That is, the imperfect compatibility between the two souls.Rankings:#61 in poetryAwards:1st Position in Sunfloro Poetry Awards1st Position in The Dazzling Awards1st Position in The Star Awards1st Position in The Moonly Awards1st Position in The Alchemy Awards1st Position in The Mystical Mini Awards1st Position in The Golden Dandelion Awards1st Position in The Gemini Awards 1st Position in The Pacific Awards2nd Position in ThePageTurner Awards2nd Position in The 2022 Winter Writer Awards2nd Position in The Stellify Awards2nd Position in The Lovely Valentines Awards 2nd Position in The Blossom AwardsRunner up in Philosopher AwardsHonourable Mention in The Berry Pancake Awards…

Our Elegies

Our Elegies

A collection of lyrical locutions and sad elegies composed by me. Like the our-song of a sweet couple, our elegies is the exact opposite of that -- for a dying love. My new album, Our Elegies, is a poetic literary piece of heartbreak on a paper. The theme of the whole album is a dark aesthetic, that actually resonates with my current situation. Our Elegies literally means songs for the dead, be it a person or a relation. Painting is with colours of pain, uncalled mistakes, regret, hurt and sadness. The album mostly reminisces on my past relationships, dictated by my current relationship and overall, reverberates through lost and found friendships. I don't intend upon actually singing these songs as per now, but perhaps in the future I might release them. They're purely composed by me and on my personal experiences, which obviously reverberates through the ones I experienced in university. (Very typical of me I know). Because is a song actually real if not based on reality? Our Elegies can also be sung as a standalone album, or related to my upcoming novel I might publish in the future.Till then, thank you for being my heartbreaking muse. ;)All rights reserved. ®Rankings:#487 in poemsAchievements:🥇1st Place in Libra Awards🥉3rd place in the Banana Awards2nd Place in the Lyra Awards…

Mosaicked Feelings

Mosaicked Feelings

Featured on @Romance in the Young Love reading list. ❤️Genre: Dark Romance/New Adult Unable to change her imperfectly plotted storyline, Michelle just couldn't when it was always the synonyms of the words that changed when she tried, but never the plot twists. The sadistic author like the clock hands, wrote fate with the strokes of the ticks, leaving no room for a change. And somehow, she was that book, tossed in a corner of a bookshelf, on which dust settled with time as a reminder of her unaccompanied presence. The frayed ends of the pages wore out from each time, a reader would come, and read whatever appealed to them, letting her go after the bad plotline of her first - past - chapters. That was where that bookmark stuck, somewhere midway between the chapters, mistaken as the end of the story. It paralysed her into a moment in time, with her unturned pages not letting her move on to the next, that was unless someone else did. And then he came. A reader who probably couldn't change the stroke of the pen of time, as much as she couldn't as a character in her story. But he didn't just read her either. From drawing stars on footnotes, and hearts as annotations on the margins, he highlighted and savoured her moments as if he didn't want to let go of them, just yet. He read and reread her over and over until he had memorised her enough. And somehow, she was someone's favourite book. The feelings of falling for each other happened to break into an artwork of mosaic in the end. But when broken puzzles finally fit each other, the formed picture doesn't always come off as expected.Disclaimer:This story contains mature themes and suicidal thoughts/actions, drug abuse, and mental disorders, that might be triggering for some readers, therefore reader discretion is advised. This book is affiliated with my poems, Our Elegies and Mismatch Flame.…
