"You, Kim Taehyung are a spineless worm! A stupid cockroach, do you hear me?!"

The shrill yell came from inside the pack house. The werewolves outside raised their eyebrows, surprised and in disbelief as they realized whose voice it was.

"A totally headless jerk, that's what you are!"

The alpha swept out, his eyes the colour of blood. He had a murderous look on his face and a deep scowl. He was practically emanating anger. If anyone was to see him or come face to face with him right then, especially an omega, they would melt before him and lie at his feet.

"Kim Taehyung, don't you dare walk away from me!" the high-pitched voice shouted again.

The poor door of the pack house got slammed harshly and very loudly for the second time that day.

A brown-haired male streaked past like an arrow and tackled Taehyung to the ground.

"Let go of me!" Taehyung cried, trying to keep his temper in check.

"NO! Why don't you ever listen to me!" the brunette snapped, glowering furiously. However angry he was trying to look; his lower lip was jutting out in a pout. His cheeks were dusted in a pink flush and his brown eyes were flashing between sapphire blue and their actual coffee shade.

The sight made Taehyung soft but not enough to not still be mad.

"Jeon Jeongguk, get the hell off of me," he growled. "People are looking, Jeongguk, we can do this at home. It's not exactly a role model situation to see your pack's Alpha and Luna roll around on the ground, yelling at each other," he forced out through gritted teeth.

"Fine then!" Jeongguk cried and shot up, "You better be home in a minute."

Saying so, he darted off, wiping his face fiercely on his T-shirt.

Taehyung got up and watched the omega run into the distance. His frown melted off his face as he sighed and dusted himself off before following.

And ~ they were back at square one.

"You only ever care about yourself don't you, Jeongguk! You're not even trying to understand the fact that I'm actually protecting you!" the alpha said, fuming.

His eyes were back from black to blood-red in the up-surging emotions.

"PROTECTING? I don't care about you protecting me! You're always so - so - IMMATURE!" Jeongguk yelled. His brown eyes were a piercing colour of blue - the shade of an omega's eyes when emotional, aroused or done intentionally.

In this situation, it was obviously because he was upset.

Taehyung slammed a hand on the table, almost shaking in anger.

"You don't let me make new friends because you're too jealous! You don't let me go out with my friends because you're to possessive! You don't let me talk to other alphas even if they're mated or aren't interested in me! What kind of protection is that? You're spoiling my life, Taehyung!" the omega cried, fighting back tears.

Both their wolves were howling in distress. V, Taehyung's wolf was irritated with his human. He was growling at the boy to stop yelling at his mate and comfort him, apologize for what he had done. On the other hand, Jungkook, Jeongguk's wolf was whining sadly because he was shouting at his alpha for a stupid reason.

But both of them were far too egoistical at that moment and refused to back down first.

Taehyung moved forward in a split second and pushed Jeongguk back against the wall. One wrapped around the omega's waist and the other pinned Jeongguk's right hand above his head to the wall.

"That is a lie and you know it, Jeon Jeongguk. When have I ever stopped you from going out with Jimin and Jin hyung? When have I ever stopped you from flitting around the pack in social gatherings? When have I ever stopped you from meeting Namjoon, Yoongi hyung and Hoseok hyung? How dare you say all that?" he snarled in an icy voice, making the omega shiver.

Jeongguk struggled to get out of Taehyung's grip even though he knew it was useless.

"Answer me," he growled. Jeongguk whimpered at the use of his alpha tone. A memory of a much better time hit him.

~Flashback~

Jeongguk was lying between a larger figure's legs. His back was pressed to the other's chest. Taehyung was threading his fingers through the younger's soft hair gently.

The elder leaned down and pressed a small kiss to the tangle of brown locks under his chin. "You feeling better now, love?" he asked softly, stroking his hair. Jeongguk hummed in reply, nodding slightly.

"I'm sorry -"

"Taehyungie," the omega whined. "Stop apologizing, it's okay!" he giggled and turned around, aiming to get a kiss. Taehyung captured his lips in a gentle kiss and let go almost immediately.

"I really didn't mean to, you know. I sort of - lost control," he apologized again, giving the smaller a pout.

Jeongguk giggled again and turned around, pushing himself up against his alpha's chest.

"Gguk?" the boy hummed in reply again. "I want to make a promise to you. And I want you to hear me say it," Taehyung said and intertwined their fingers. As always, their hands fit together in a perfect way - like a lock and key. Jeongguk's small one in Taehyung's bigger one.

"I, Kim Taehyung, vow to never use my alpha voice on my sweet, adorable mate and the cutest, prettiest and kindest person alive, Jeon Jeongguk unless he is getting a punishment for being a bad boy."

Jeongguk blushed and smacked the elder lightly with his free hand.

"Stop it," he cried weakly and turned around to hide his embarrassment. "Eh, true though," Taehyung shrugged, grinning.

The younger smiled slightly and turned back again. The moment of peace was interrupted by Taehyung's hands sneaking up and starting to tickle Jeongguk. The boy shrieked out, giggling uncontrollably as he tried to push Taehyung away.

After around ten minutes, Taehyung gave up and let himself be pushed back onto the bed, Jeongguk pinning his hands down.

"I hate you," Jeongguk grumbled as he panted. Taehyung laughed.

"Love you too, baby," the alpha teased, smiling widely.

Jeongguk's eyes shot open. The effect of the alpha tone had gone by the time the flashback ended. He gave all of his strength into shoving Taehyung away from him and succeeded surprisingly easily.

Taehyung felt guilt rise up like a tide inside him immediately.

His eyes were now a cloudy sapphire blue, giving away the fact that he was sad. He spared Taehyung one last glance before he ran out of the house fighting back tears. Taehyung had a look of immense regret on his face and he had an open mouth as he tried to tell Jeongguk something but failed.

It made both their wolves howl in pain.

It had been four days Jeongguk was missing.

Taehyung had sent out around twelve search parties over the days. He hadn't slept and refused to eat even Jin's food. All the while, he himself ran around all day and night, stopping only when he fell to his feet in exhaustion.

His wolf had cut off all contact with him and he was only allowed to shift into the huge black creature because it would help him find Jeongguk. 

And Jeongguk had obviously blocked their mind link.

Taehyung kept muttering, "It's my fault, all my fault," in both sleeping and waking hours. To say the least, he was scared, angry with himself, terrified and sad.

Jin and Hoseok were discussing the idea of injecting the poor guy with some anaesthesia so that by the time he woke up, his mate would be by his side again. That way, he could even some food could be forced into him. He was still going because of his wolf's rank. Alphas could go for a long time without food but they would be horribly weak afterward.

Taehyung had broken down and told them what the reason for Jeongguk's disappearance had been. No one blamed him; however, no one blamed their Luna either.
Because for one, Taehyung would get mad if people said it was Jeongguk's fault. And the second, they didn't want him to worry more than he already was.

On the fourth day, it rained. It rained like hell was opening up.

However, when they weren't paying attention, Taehyung managed to slip out into the woods again from under his hyungs' supervision to look for Jeongguk.

The ground was covered in wet mud. V's black fur-padded paws were splashing in the water and his legs up to his knees were smeared brown. Rain pelted down on his fur but it didn't hurt that much because his thick midnight coloured coat protected him. It did however, make him feel worried about what state Jeongguk was in.

He ran through the forest, bounding and leaping across puddles. It had been around an hour or so when he finally slowed down his pace. He looked around, red eyes scouring his surroundings.

Suddenly, lightning danced across the sky, lighting up the dark grey morning sky. The wolf spotted a flash of brilliant white in his wet environment.

Hope fired up inside him. 

There was only one person he knew with fur the colour of new snow.

Jeon Jeongguk's wolf, Jungkook.

V crouched down and calculated the perfect time for his movement. The exact second he heard thunder boom, he leaped forward.

Water splashed where his paws landed and it alerted the white wolf of his presence. But it wasn't quick enough for him to react and get to his feet. A loud growl ripped through the air and the larger wolf pounced, effectively pinning the white one under himself.

The white wolf struggled and twitched, trying to break free of the heavier one's grip. V barked out and he froze immediately. Red eyes met blue ones and they remained motionless for a while before Taehyung broke through and forced his wolf to shift. V was caught off-guard and let out a surprised whine before the black fur disappeared and a human figure took the place of the wolf.

Taehyung was decisively lighter and less strong than his wolf and if Jungkook had tried, he would have been able to break free and dart away in a matter of seconds.

But he didn't even move.

Instead, the white wolf made a pitiful noise and lifted his head to rub against Taehyung's face. He whined and whimpered, all the time rubbing his snout against Taehyung, licking all over his face.

The alpha got up and crouched on the ground, ruffling Jungkook's soft fur once before he snatched up a pair of pants he had brought along.

The wolf sat down on his haunches, his tail swishing around as he watched Taehyung slip on boxers and a pair of blue jeans. He threw a bundle of something to the side. As soon as he was done, Jungkook got up on his four feet and pushed his head between Taehyung's hand and his chest. The boy sighed and leaned back against the trunk of the tree. 

He allowed Jungkook to jump up and drape himself over his thighs before he started to stroke his wet fur.

"You worried me to death, Jeonggukie. Disappearing for four days, huh? God, I thought I was going to lose you. What if you had come across rogues? What then? I wouldn't be there to protect you, Gguk," he said, staring deep into Jungkook's blue eyes.

Jungkook whined and his tongue darted out, licking all over Taehyung's face. He didn't understand what had happened but he knew something was wrong. He could sense that his Taehyungie was upset and he wanted to make him feel better. 

He didn't like to see his alpha upset. He knew Jeongguk and Taehyung were in a fight and he didn't like it.

A deep chuckle reverberated in Taehyung's chest and he pushed Jungkook away lightly. He stroked his fur gently and smiled at the worry in his large sapphire eyes.

"Hey, it's okay Kookie. No need to be so scared, it's gonna be fine, yeah? We're gonna talk it out, it's gonna be alright," he soothed the omega, who was releasing sky-rocketing fearful pheromones.
It was making Taehyung's own wolf agitated.

Jungkook whimpered and lay his head down on Taehyung's lap. The boy sighed as he fondled the white wolf's ears and rubbed his head.

"D'you think Jeongguk's gonna forgive me?" he asked in a soft voice laced with pain after a pause. "I'm really sorry, petal, I really didn't mean to say all that - they -," he sighed, remembering that day disturbingly. 

"They just slipped out," he said regretfully.

I'm sorry too.

Taehyung gave a start at the sudden voice before relief flooded over him. "J-Jeongguk?" he asked tentatively and very hopefully.

I'm here, Taehyung.
He noted the use of no nicknames. 

"Are you still mad at me? I'm so sorry, Gguk, I -"
No, hyung, I'm sorry. It was my fault. You had reason to get angry. I just - I just ran away. Like a coward. Like I always do.

Indignance and anger fired up inside Taehyung. His over-protective side woke up. Nobody could speak badly about Jeongguk and get away with it. Even if Jeongguk himself criticized himself, Taehyung would get distressed.

"No, you're not! You're the bravest person I know! Don't say that about yourself!" he cried, frowning. The sound of Jeongguk's quiet, emotionless chuckle sounded in his head.

I'm really sorry I made you worry so much, Tae.
"It's what I'm supposed to do, Gguk. Worry about you and take care of you. It's my responsibility," Taehyung smiled and leaned down to place a light kiss on the top of the wolf's head.

Jungkook's tail lifted into the air and started wagging as his face looked like he was smiling too.

There was a stretch of silence punctuated with the sound of the raindrops splattering on the ground. They were sitting under a huge shady willow tree, protecting them from the rain completely. It was almost like it was not raining under that tree.

"You gonna switch back anytime soon? I feel like we should talk," Taehyung stated.

Uh - well, you see... Jungkook's mad at me. Like. Very mad. He won't let me even talk to him, forget switching back, his embarrassed voice replied. Could you try persuading him?

Taehyung raised an eyebrow and looked down at the resting wolf whose head was lying on his thighs. He pursed his lips and gave a low whistle. Jungkook's closed eyes shot open and his head lifted, blue irises looking into black. "Oh Jungkookie," he cooed in a sing-song voice. It made Jungkook cock his head and his tail start wagging again in recognition of his own name.

"You're a good boy aren't you, Kookie? Such a good boy," Taehyung said, touching his nose to Jungkook's wet one. The wolf let out a happy bark and his tail wagged faster.

"Will you do hyung a favour and -"
Alpha.
Taehyung frowned, confused. Even Jungkook looked puzzled at the sudden silence.

"What?" he asked. 

A-alpha. Jungkook knows you by that. H-hyung is for m-me, Jeongguk said in an extremely shy voice. Taehyung could almost envision the red on his face.

"Hmm. Good point. Kook? Will you do Alpha a favour, cupcake?" Jungkook barked loudly, signifying a 'yes'.

Cupcake? Seriously?
"If it works, it works. Now hush, Gguk, let hyung do the work."
O-okay.
Taehyung grinned, obviously pleased at being able to make Jeongguk flustered again.

"You know that Gguk and I are having a little... misunderstanding don't you? Of course you do. Of course you do, you clever little creature. So intelligent, yeah?" he praised Jungkook, making the wolf raise a paw and rub against his face, almost as if he was trying to hide his shyness.

Taehyung cooed. "So cute. It's nothing really, Kookie. It's gonna be okay. But for that, I need you to help me." Taking the tilting of Jungkook's head as a sign to continue, Taehyung did. 

But before he could start, Jeongguk interrupted again.

Put in the alpha voice.
"WHAT? No, of course not!"
Hyung, do it or he won't listen. Trust me.

Taehyung looked worried. Do it. I'm asking you to, Tae.

He sighed and took in a deep breath. "I'm sorry for this," he said in a quiet voice. "Shift back," he said in a deep, rumbling voice, his eyes blood-red at the command.

Jungkook lay down on his back and whined. Taehyung watched the wolf's figure shrink and a human take his place. He suddenly realized something and shot up, turning away. When silence descended again and he sniffed out extremely embarrassed pheromones released in the air, Taehyung cleared his throat nervously. 

"I - uh. You didn't happen to bring any extra pants did you?" Jeongguk's voice broke through first.

"Sh-should I - can I turn?" Taehyung asked for permission and when he heard a soft 'yeah', he did. The sight of a naked Jeongguk in the middle of a forest where anyone could see him made Taehyung growl out lowly out of instinct.

Taehyung made his way back to the bottom of the tree and sat down, gesturing for Jeongguk to come closer. The omega obeyed and walked forward until he was sitting next to Taehyung. A chilly breeze hit him and his shiver didn't go unnoticed by Taehyung.

Jeongguk was making an attempt to cover himself and his face was red. "D-didn't happen to think of this scenario," he explained quietly.

Taehyung twisted around and picked Jeongguk up onto his lap with a grunt. "You're getting heavier, Gguk. Don't work out so much. Not that I don't like your abs," the elder said and poked Jeongguk's abs with a grin on his face.

"Also. What exactly are you trying to hide? You're acting like I haven't seen it all before," he added, smirking when he saw Jeongguk's face heat up again.

"Well you're back to normal," the younger murmured, turning his face away.

Taehyung hummed and suddenly leaned over to his left. "Well, good for you that I worry too much. About you." He straightened up and threw a crumpled piece of clothing at Jeongguk. The omega bit his lip and smiled.

"Thanks," he muttered.

The elder turned Jeongguk around and made him face him so that Jeongguk was straddling him. He snatched up the shirt and slipped it over the omega's red face. It was oversized for Taehyung himself so it was imaginable what size it was for Jeongguk.

"Didn't think of bringing any boxers did you?" Jeongguk asked as he stood up and turned around.

Taehyung darted a tongue over his lips at the sight of his mate wearing his shirt that reached the middle of his muscular thighs and nothing underneath. "Not exactly but I think that's good thinking on my part, yeah?" he said in a low voice.

All traces of their fight were gone momentarily as Taehyung got up on his feet and stood in front of Jeongguk.
The omega was shorter by only half an inch but in front of Taehyung he always looked so much smaller.

"Good thinking? Yeah, maybe not -" he was cut off by a gasp. Blood rushed to his cheeks as his eyes widened comically. Taehyung's large hand was cupping his butt. The elder squeezed his ass again and his face had a tiny smirk on it, making him look dangerously hot.

"We're - we're in the middle of the woods," Jeongguk squeaked when he felt a smack on his bubble butt.

"So? You like people watching you as I reduce you to a mess don't you? You like peoples' eyes on you all the time. But I don't. I don't want anyone's eyes except mine to see your body. You're mine. Mine," he growled out.

Jeongguk shivered when he felt Taehyung's fangs brush against his mate mark. Without warning, the alpha suddenly licked his neck. He bit down and marked a bruise on the skin.

"T-Tae -" the younger squirmed, trying to keep his hormones in control.

"Who do you belong to?" the alpha asked softly as he continued his ministrations on Jeongguk's neck.

Jeongguk squirmed.

"Who do you belong to, Jeongguk?" he repeated as he licked away at the bruises forming on his neck.

Suddenly, Taehyung sank his fangs into Jeongguk's mate mark.

Tears of a pleasure mixed with pain rushed to his eyes. Electricity buzzed through him and he felt an indescribable feeling wash over him. He clutched Taehyung's arm to support himself. If it wasn't for the strong, firm hold on his small waist, he would have collapsed. "AH - Tae -," he cried out as he trembled in his alpha's arms.

Taehyung withdrew his fangs and murmured with his lips ghosting over Jeongguk's mate mark, "Use your words, my prince."

"Y-you, hyung - I - I'm yours," Jeongguk forced out through his hazed mind. He had already slipped into subspace.

"That's right. You're such a good boy for hyung, aren't you Jeonggukie? Such a pretty boy for me, always listening to whatever hyung says," Taehyung praised him in that deep voice of his, knowing full well how Jeongguk was affected by it.

The omega bit his lip, blushing furiously again.

Taehyung let the feeling of their mate bond get stronger again wash over him. He held Jeongguk in his arms, waiting for him to get down from his high and be able to stand again.

"Well then, I think the others will be waiting. Let's go home, Gguk," Taehyung turned around when his wrist was suddenly pulled back.

At the questioning look, Jeongguk swallowed. "U-uh, three things. Firstly, I didn't apologize yet. For what I did. I overreacted, hyung, I'm sorry... I'm sorry for making you worry so much. I should have at least kept the mind link open," he looked down, his voice trembling as he spoke.

Taehyung tilted his face up with a finger under his chin and smiled softly. "It wasn't your fault at all. We both made mistakes, pup. But we learned from them, right?"

Jeongguk nodded hastily.

"And the two other things?"
"Yeah - er... well, I can't go back wearing this -"

Taehyung's eyes widened at the sudden realization. "Oh yeah, don't worry, we're going back in wolf form. And then we change back in our room. Lastly?" He prompted the boy.

Jeongguk squirmed as his face flushed again. "W-well - uh, you know. I may or may not have a tiny little problem d-down there," he said in an embarrassed, shy voice.
Taehyung's grin turned into a smirk as he walked forward again.

"Well then. We need to take care of the little problem then don't we?," he said as he pulled Jeongguk closer by the waist.

The younger bit back a groan at his hardening cock being pressed against Taehyung's thigh. Unknowingly, he bucked his hips up and his head fell back at the feeling. The alpha let him rut against himself for a while, forcing his wolf to calm down at the soft moans escaping Jeongguk. He grinned.

"We'll continue this at home, love. C'mon, they'll be worrying, let's go!" the elder exclaimed and shifted immediately, his jeans ripping off.

Jeongguk scowled at his mate's evil nature and then his gaze fell on the torn jeans on the ground. "Oh my god - TAEHYUNG, THAT'S THE SEVENTH PAIR OF JEANS YOU'VE TORN TO SHREDS - WHAT'S THE PROBLEM IN ACTUALLY TAKING IT OFF BEFORE SHIFTING -" he groaned, almost whining.

But Taehyung was gone. Jeongguk caught the glimpse of a black wolf with a cocked head before he felt something launch itself at him.

"Hey, hey, whoa. Easy there," the boy chuckled at his hyperactivity. V replied with a bark, his tail wagging so fast it was less than a blur. Jeongguk ran his fingers through his wet fur, shaking a few drops of water from it. The wolf chuffed, making an almost purring noise. Jeongguk giggled and ruffled V's fur, stroking his jaw. 

"You like that, huh?" he smiled as V lay his head down on his thigh.

"Alright, big boy, come on we gotta go. So many things to do. I've gotta apologize for disappearing first and then of course, deal with your mean human. Leaving me with this, the fucking tease -," Jeongguk grumbled as he started to get up again.

V circled around twice, barking in answer to what Taehyung was telling him inside his head. But of course, Jeongguk didn't know that. The boy kept muttering to himself as he tried his best to ignore the painful hard-on he had been left alone with. He picked up the things lying around on the wet, grassy ground and straightened up again. 

As soon as he turned, Jeongguk sucked in a sharp breath. V's head was pressed onto the bulge that was barely hidden by the oversized hoodie he was wearing. 

He stumbled back in surprise, successfully holding back the groan that was about to escape his parted lips. "What the -," the black wolf jumped on top of him, making him fall back against the forest floor for the second time that day. 

"Ow," Jeongguk mumbled but that was the least of his worries.

His mate was the spawn of Satan and that was a fact.

Taehyung was talking to V continuously, telling him what to do to tease the omega further. And his wolf was happily complying.

Jeongguk started to get up on his elbows but gasped, his face heating up again when he felt V nuzzle his snout against his now prominent hard length. The omega started to scramble back but lost all strength in his arms when he felt the wolf press his nose into it. Jeongguk's head fell back, another breathy moan escaping in spite of himself.

"V-V stop - I - n-not right now," he pleaded as he tried to focus. The wolf stopped immediately, understanding that something was wrong.

"Just - just go behind that tree over there, I'll change into Taehyung's jeans or something. Th-they're not that torn after all," he waved to a tree in the distance. V yipped in agreement and bounded off.

Jeongguk's eyes flitted shut. A few minutes passed when suddenly, he heard something.

A low growl sounded through the air.

Jeongguk whipped around, fear etched across his face. His heart sped faster than it already was.

A figure stepped through the bushes in front of him. Jeongguk felt fear overcome him and he tried to get up but was stopped when he felt the intimidating aura of the rogue in front of him. He gritted his teeth. He wouldn't let himself submit to anyone other than his alpha.

"My, my, what's a pretty little omega like you doing out here all alone? And oh - it's aroused, too. Touching yourself in the middle of the woods, baby boy?" the rogue wolf leered, eyes darkening. 

"I'm mated, you fucking piece of disgusting shit," Jeongguk summoned up the courage to spit it at him.

"Feisty, eh? It's a shame, whoever your mate must be. Because you're mine now, omega. And right now, I'm going to make you mine. Pathetic mate, they must be, huh? Leaving you all alone when you're so excited? Don't worry, baby boy, I'll take care of you. I'll fuck you so good you won't remember anything but me," the stranger stepped towards him.

Jeongguk felt like sobbing. He wanted to scream for Taehyung but his voice didn't seem to be working.

"G-go away. Leave me - leave me alone, please," he whispered, begging.

"Oh, don't worry, omega. When I'm done with you, you'll be begging for more like the slutty little whore you are," he rasped.

A sob wrenched out of Jeongguk's chest. 

Just before the rogue could touch him, there was a blur of motion. Black fur and the colour of skin mixed together as someone, or something flew at the man. Jeongguk found his senses again and scrambled back, tears leaking out of his eyes like an open faucet. He curled up in a ball, crying freely.

Finally when the man was lying, crumpled and crying out apologies, Taehyung stopped punching and hitting the living shit out of him.

The alpha spat out. "IF YOU EVER TOUCH HIM AGAIN, YOU WON'T SEE THE LIGHT OF ANOTHER DAY, YOU SICK BASTARD." The rogue nodded rapidly, ugly crying now. He was littered with horrible bruises and blood. 

"Don't ever come here again, have you got that? NOW LEAVE." The man clambered up, crying out in pain as he hobbled away, falling more than thrice.

Taehyung felt his rage subside and immediately, worry, sadness, fear and heartbreak took over.

His eyes fell on the trembling mess of his mate on the ground and he nearly cried out himself. Instead, Taehyung ran towards Jeongguk and sat down next to him. He didn't touch him because he knew what Jeongguk was going through. He could feel the poor omega's emotions. And together with his own, he felt like collapsing because of all of them.

It took every ounce of his willpower but Taehyung remained still. His hands hovered above Jeongguk, scared to touch him.

Every sob that was leaving him, every heart-breaking cry - it was making Taehyung think of what would have happened if this had happened the previous day. 

If Taehyung wasn't there to save his baby. 

He forced himself to think of something else.

Nearly ten minutes had passed when Jeongguk lifted his head, still crying softly. His eyes met Taehyung's and the elder immediately felt a part of him dissolve. He knew that as long as he lived, he would never forget this look of hurt, fear and this broken Jeongguk.

Jeongguk's face was wet with tears and his cheeks were red because of it. His eyes were moist with continually flowing with tears.

"Baby," Taehyung called out softly in a broken tone. 

The younger let out a loud sob and held out his arms towards him, silently begging him to hold him. 

Taehyung felt immense sadness wash over him again and he hooked his strong arms under Jeongguk, picking him up with ease. He set him down on his lap and encircled his arms around him. His right hand rubbed Jeongguk's back comfortingly and his left hand's fingers drew small shapes on it.

Jeongguk pressed himself against Taehyung and felt himself relax because of the soothing pheromones the alpha was releasing.

They stayed like that for a while before Taehyung felt a wetness on his bare chest again.

"H-hey. Hey, sweetheart - it's alright, baby, look, he's gone right? Hyung made sure of that. He's not gonna hurt you, baby, it's okay. It's okay, it's all okay. I'm here now. Nothing's gonna hurt you, alright? I'll make sure of that," Taehyung promised as he held Jeongguk's face in his hands, wiping away the tears gently.

Jeongguk wiped his face harshly with the sleeve of his hoodie.

"I-I'm sorry - I'm sorry, hyung," he said, voice breaking. Taehyung's heart broke too. 

"Jeongguk, listen to me. There's nothing to be sorry about, love. It's my fault. Oh god, it's all my fault. If - if I had just - it - it's all because of me, Gguk. You could've been raped today a-and it was all my f-fault," Taehyung bit his lip so hard that a drop of blood appeared.

"N-no. No, hyungie, I - I shouldn't have asked V to leave. I shouldn't have left -"

"Who was the one who made you run away because they broke a promise they swore to keep? Me. Who was the one who made you mad because of their stupid overprotectiveness? Me. Who was the one who found who and then decided to mark you again just because of their own insecurities? Me. Who was the one who was a fucking idiot and decided to tease you and - and leave you aroused where any fucking one could see and smell you? That's right, me! Jeongguk, I'm at fault here and -"

"Al-alright fine! It's your fault, are you happy now? But what if what you said had happened? What if that - that m-man found me before? I'd have been taken from you and that would be my fault, right?"

Taehyung sighed shakily at his upset omega. 

He wiped away his tears again, kissing his face.
"It doesn't matter, baby. You're alright now, right? You're okay. You're with me now. And nothing's ever going to happen to you again. I'll do my best to make sure of that," he linked their pinkies together and spoke sincerely.

Jeongguk sniffed and nodded. "A-alright." He then added in a quieter voice, "I love you, hyung. Thank you for everything."

"No. Thank you for everything. Thank you for being the way you are and thank you for being my mate. Now before aliens come and abduct us or some other messed up shit, let's go home, yeah?"

Jeongguk giggled, a fond smile spreading across Taehyung's face at the sound.

"Come on love, let's go," Taehyung pulled the younger up to his feet. Jeongguk noticed him glance around with a wary look before he turned towards him again.

"Why don't you shift first this time, pup?"

The omega felt a warmth wash over him. Taehyung refused to let anything happen to him, and it seemed like he was more shaken up over what had happened than himself.

"A-alright. Just turn around while I - uh... take the thing off." Taehyung complied, spinning to face away even before Jeongguk finished the sentence. There was the usual unnerving sound of bones snapping and Taehyung understood he was done when he felt a wet nose on the palm of his hand.

Taehyung turned, messing up Jungkook's white coat of fur before he shifted too, a large black wolf taking his place.

V made a low rumbling sound like a growl at the sight of his mate. He stepped forward, his pink tongue licking all over Jungkook's snout and face. The smaller wolf yipped and pulled away before nuzzling into V's furry neck.

You gonna move or do I make you, you little shit? Taehyung rolled his eyes at V.

Tae, don't be mean! They haven't seen each other in so long!

Jesus, alright fine.

The black wolf looked like he was grinning at being defended. He broke into a run, looking back to check if his mate was following.

Jungkook cocked his head before he barked back and started running after him. 

It didn't take them more than five minutes to reach the borders of the pack. The guards on duty realized it was the Alpha and Luna and quickly opened the gates. The wolves bounded in as quick as they could so that they wouldn't be noticed by anyone else.

They skidded behind a bush and V leaned down so that Jungkook could clamber onto his back and jump up into the porch in front of their room in the pack house.

They shifted back immediately, rushing as they threw on some clothes. 

It was a wonder no one had noticed them yet.

The door flew open.

"YAH! KIM TAEHYUNG, I TOLD YOU NOT TO LEAVE AND YOU - MOTHER OF THE MOON GODDESS, Jeongguk!"

Taehyung let out a nervous giggle at the sight of his older brother. 

He hadn't thought this far. After all, he had broken out to go look for Jeongguk. Thankfully for him, Jin was preoccupied. 

"Hyung, he's weak don't crush him like that!" He complained and pulled Jeongguk away from Seokjin's tight embrace, into his own arms. 

"Oh whatever. Possessive son of a curse word. Let's go, we need to notify the pack of your return - Kim Taehyung, that better not be what I think it is. YOU BROUGHT MUD - FRESH, SQUELCHING, DISGUSTING, WET MUD INTO THE PACK HOUSE AND SHIFTED IN HERE -"

Taehyung broke into a torrent of apologies, shrinking in front of his brother.

Jeongguk just smiled at being home again.

I was so busy writing, I completely forgot to update this lmao! Thank you so much for 10K, I never thought this would get any attention T~T ❤ 

Also, I was reading my previous one-shots and I think I have to do a bit of editing because my writing was awful back then. Eh, maybe that means I've improved!
