━━━━ CLAN LIFE ,

𝗞𝗜𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗗 ━━ Born to a lonesome she-cat named Marble, she was named Split and had two siblings named Frosty and Pitch. Pitch was a pitch black tom and Frosty was a white she-cat. What was Split? A perfect split between the two other siblings. On top of it all she was the middle-kit. Irony knew what they were doing. They grew up in an abandoned base floor in the city, their life dark and dirty. Despite this, their mother loved them deeply and gave them a memorable childhood. Soon they moved to an alley way where a disposed of mattress made up their new playgrounds. When winter came, Frosty got severely sick and Marble didn't know what to do. She did her best to aid her daughter. This then of course made food harder to find for the other two. Pitch and Split knew hunger and managed to be okay, when spring time came, Frosty had survived but remained with a compromised immune system and would always get sick over the smallest things.

𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 ━━ The alley way they called home was well ignored for the most part as Marble raised her kits and taught them. Frosty always stayed back when Marble took them on hunts, always hiding in the mattress. One morning, Pitch and Split were sent out to dig through some trash when a Silverthorn Stick snatched Marble and Frosty into the belly of a it's monster. Pitch has been the one to see it happen, dropping his findings and giving chase. Confused, Split followed him. They were young and Marble had chosen not to tell her kits about the Two-Leg of no Return and his monster. As they gave chase, a few loners took notice and one, who had a heart and a half, chased after them and grabbed them up. Pitch was fighting the senior loner, demanding to be let go.

The senior loner was patient and waiting as the frazzled siblings processed what happened. The loner then explained what had happened and offered comfort to the two now orphaned cats. Pitch remained highly protective of Split and constantly slept basically on top of her as a blanket of protection. Split was broken after the loss of her little sister and mother, but she still had Pitch. The loner who took them in was a tom named Ripper. He was a tall black tom with heavy scarring all over him. He taught the two the real world and how it worked, he was very different than their mother and Split admired him. He led a small group of loners, literally him and three others. The others took to the younglings fast, Pitch's protective nature alluring them to helping him grow apart of their group. Split was confident and brave, always offering to help out.

𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗗 ━━ Ripper trained them to fight and hunt. Split and her brother remained close, but Pitch was becoming more independent and more like Ripper. Split kept having dreams of another group of cats outside the city and she kept feeling tugged to leave. She knew Pitch wouldn't follow but didn't want to leave him. One night she had left for a walk to clear her head. She was walking in circles before she found herself walking towards the old dump just outside the city. Curiosity had her chained and dragged towards the peaks of trash. Soon enough, she found herself face to face with Chaffinchstar and was offered to stay. Compelled by what felt like an otherworldly force, she accepted. Some days she misses her brother terribly but she felt like she finally belonged. She stopped having her nagging dreams and felt at home. Finally, she belonged.
