"So...... Can you play me something...... Maybe sing too?" Grace asked looking at my keyboard.
I smirked awkwardly, and walked over to my instruments.
I'll play....... But I won't sing! Trust me my voice is terrible.
"Oh come on please!" Grace begged, flooding her hands together looking me in the eyes.

Grace lightened to a smile.
I set up my keyboard and music sheets. Grace sat on my bed ready for me to play.
As I was about to start playing, I started shaking and froze up........ And then I ran out of the room.
"Kaity! Come back!" Grace called out, going after me.
I ran outside, putting my hands onto my head.
"Kaity it's okay...... You don't have to play for me. " Grace said, putting her hand on my shoulder.
Grace and I walked back inside, and I put my things away.
When I heard my dad yell down for me, causing me to jump.
Grace and I walked down stairs, to the living room, where my dad was of course drinking.
"Uhh Kaity..... Can you go to the store for me...... And pick up everything in this list" my dad said, kind of slurred.
I nodded, and Grace and I started walking to the store, since my parents don't trust me to use the car.
"Kaity......." Grace said, tapping my shoulder.
I looked at her confused.
"Why did you stop talking?" Grace asked. We both stopped walking Graces hands on my shoulders.
I looked down at my feet, tears going down my face.
Because...... My parents say I'm an annoying shit. And I just don't have a purpose to talk.
"You have me!" Grace said, making me look at her.
I blushed.
God damn!!! Why does she have to be so god damn fucking perfect!
"And hey! Just know I'm here for you! I'm here to help you." Grace said, taking her index finger making me look at her again.
I hugged Grace tightly.
Once we let go, we stared at each other for about I'd say maybe five minutes.

Kaity and I made it back to her house, and we sat on her bed.
"what do you want to do" I asked.
Kaity shrugged.
Kaity stood up in front of me and looked at me for a while.

((AN: I know I'm so mean for the cliff! But hey it was bound to happen!! Alright so I've been getting pretty busy. And I haven't really had time to update so I just want you to know, that in srsly risking getting in trouble at night for you guys just to get a chapter in at least one or two.
I will try to update more but again I've been busy, with cross country, cross country meets, homework, keeping grades up, staying out of trouble at home, and a bunch of stuff. So I'm really trying so yea
