T-72

Soviet main battle tank.

The T-72 is a second generation Soviet main battle tank it was one of the most widely produced post world war 2 tanks second only to the T-55/54 tank family at 20.000 T-72s produced it was first put into service in 1973 and remains in service to this day.

It's weapons where a smoothbore 125MM main gun and 7.62 PKT coax machine gun and a 12.7 NSVT machine gun serving as a AA machine gun.

It's armour consisted of both steel and composite armour plating while I'm not entirely sure it is often believed to be 280MM on it's turret armour and is also believed to use conventional cast armour as well it is also said that when inclined it's armour protection rockets to 500-600 MM thick and carried roughly 39 rounds of ammunition it is also said to be able to penetrate leopard 1 tanks from more the 3.000 meters.

It does not carry special weapons such as extra gernade launchers and such.

AI Zarrar

Pakistan main battle tank.

The Ai Zarrae is a second generation main battle tank in use by the Pakistan military so far at least 600 units have been built but the tank is effective so far only Pakistan is the user of this tank.

It's weapons consist of a 125MM Tank gun and two machine guns 1 being a 7.62 MM machine gun and a 12.7MM anit aircraft gun it also has 8 smoke gernade launchers and can fire various types of ammunition which are

APFSDS

HEAT-FS

HE-FS

Anti tank missiles(guided)

And the 125MM Pakistani DU

It can fire these rounds at a range of 2 KM

It also has a lazer range finder and thermal imaging to improve it's accuracy.

It's armour is consisted of modular composite armour and explosive reactive armour which fires small peices of armour off of the tank itself to act sorta like the CIWS guns on navy ships which help protect it from mines anti tank missles etc it's armour thickness is rumoured to be at least 450MM thick.

In a battle the T-72 is faster then the AI Zarrar tank but the AI Zarrar has better armour and the Explosive reactive armour is much better at protecting the crew and tank from incoming missles and tank shells also a major drawback of the T-72 is that it has VERY poor night attack capabilities it has basically no night attack technology while the AI Zarrar has thermal imaging and has a better firing range it also is said to have strong armour piercing ability while the T-72 was produced in MUCH MUCH large numbers it has no special weapons like smoke gernade launchers etc it also normally fires HE and AP rounds while this tank has good armour piercing the AI Zarrar has better armour roughly equal gun and can attack during the night much easier then the T-72 also the AI Zarrar has an automatic fire extinguisher while the T-72 doesn't.
